In our natural bodies, physical pain forces us to awaken when we have been asleep.
It obligates us to pay immediate attention to a specific need and drives us
to look deeper into the truth. In other words, it motivates us to examine closer
the cause of a problem instead of the symptom. I believe the corporate Church
is facing a spiritual pain that is pressing us awake.
I recently attended a meeting where I heard someone say "this has happened on
our watch" referring to the many spiritual concerns facing the western Church.
This person was pointing to the distinct and valid issues we are compelled to
address in this day. I totally agree that we are responsible for numerous things
that have entered on our watch. However, to more fully broach this subject I
believe there is a need for us to understand that compromise actually infiltrated
the church many centuries ago. Some of the problems of today we have created...others
we inherited. How we now respond to our present condition is the defining issue.
A Progression of Seeds Sown
Just as "Rome wasn't built in a day," we haven't experienced the full effect
of compromise in one generation. The present condition of the Church has been
a progression of seeds sown many years ago. We cannot merely address the fruit
of those things, but strike the root of the tree.
We are now in the day of restoration promised through the prophet Joel. This
process began first with Martin Luther and his message of justification by faith.
Secondly, John Wesley recovered the message of sanctification by the washing
of the Word. Thirdly, the baptism of Holy Spirit was reintroduced corporately
in the last 100 years. The Azusa Street outpouring helped launch this awareness
and spiritual restoration. Perhaps it is valid to assume that the last 100 years
could be considered our watch!
Watering Down the Holy Spirit
It could certainly be supported that within the past 40 years we have allowed
the sacred experience of being Holy Spirit filled to be watered down and diluted
to a superficial level. It is never our intent to be critical but we must identify
the root cause of our condition in order to apprehend a remedy. John G. Lake
acknowledged that his generation missed the mark and lost the day of their visitation
because of a lack of appreciation and understanding of being Spirit filled.
Could that have affected the condition we are faced with in our generation as
Unfortunately, many segments of the corporate Church have resolved being Holy
Spirit filled according to the Acts 2 model, as an optional experience or somehow
unnecessary. Still others have equated Him to speaking in tongues only. In no
way should we minimize speaking in tongues as part of our heritage. We as believers
should have this as an integral part of our daily prayer language. This is vital
form of communication between our spirit with the Holy Spirit. When Holy Spirit
was poured out they did speak in tongues and were endued with power to do the
work of the ministry
Holy Spirit Power
The Scripture plainly supports the position that the early disciples were empowered
to cast out demons, heal the sick and do other aspects of the ministry. However,
we discover that the disciples were actually commissioned and functioning in
that purpose before the Day of Pentecost. (Matthew 10:8; Luke 10:8)
Whatever city you enter and they receive you, eat what
is set before you; and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, "The
kingdom of God has come near to you" ....The seventy returned with joy, saying,
"Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name. And He said to them,
"I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. Behold, I have given
you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of
the enemy, and nothing will injure you. Luke 10:8 9 & 17-19
Most importantly, the infilling of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost changed
their character. Before that experience we discover some of the disciples jostling
for personal position in the kingdom and attempting to discover who would sit
on the Lord's right and left hand. Neither did they possess the personal strength
nor fortitude to remain awake and "watch" with the Lord in His hour of greatest
need. Furthermore, they were afraid to be identified with Him and even denied
that they knew Him.
Nevertheless, following the Acts 2 experience of being baptized in the Holy
Spirit, something was radically changed internally in their nature. Before the
experience they were afraid of losing their life and being identified with Christ.
After, they freely gave their life for Him. Their nature had been transformed.
This likewise allowed for an even greater measure of power and authority to
do the work of the ministry.
A greater capacity was imparted to them through the Holy Spirit that allowed
the comprehension of truth with understanding. Mysteries they were unable to
apprehend before the experience now became clear. The Holy Spirit led them into
all truth. These are the true evidences of being filled with the Spirit. The
I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot
bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into
all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He
hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.
John 16:12 13
Laying Down Our Lives for Living Truth
Clearly, a key for our generation is to also experience the Holy Spirit in like
fashion. The Lord wants to impart the Living Truth, not a truth. The baptism
of the Holy Spirit produces all of these elements of His attributes that are
essential for us to fulfill our commission in this generation. The question
is being asked, are we willing to lay down our lives for this reality?
Undoubtedly, having witnessed the crucifixion first hand and the brutality of
His sufferings must have left a lasting impression upon the initial disciples.
However, we also find Paul and many others throughout early Church history who
were equally as devoted though they did not personally witness the crucifixion.
The Spirit resident in them provided a vivid reality of the cross. He will do
It is not our desire to return to Pentecost but we do desperately need the fullness
of the Pentecostal experience that birthed the apostolic church. That same empowerment
will equip us to overcome the spirit of compromise that entered the Church in
325 AD. It will allow us to strike the root of unbelief and compromise and move
forward into maturity as His sons and daughters.

Weeping Room - Pathway to Strategy"
By Jennifer Miller
One day as I was in prayer the Lord began to open up my eyes to a spiritual
encounter. I saw myself being taken up to heaven. Before me I saw a huge house
with many rooms. I knew instantly that this was the 'Father's House'. I could
feel the love of the father drawing me in, so I began to run as fast as I could
to enter the house. As I entered, the Lord walked with me through many rooms,
each one packed with spiritual meaning.
He quietly invited me to follow Him into the most beautiful room in the whole
house - the intimacy room. It was absolutely extravagant and beautiful. Upon
entering the room, I was overwhelmed with love and wanted to stay there forever.
In the Spirit I could hear other people (other believers) in all the different
rooms of the house. Some were studying books in the library; others were becoming
intoxicated in the spiritual wine cellar. I was somewhat surprised that everyone
wasn't in the intimacy room since it was the most beautiful room in the whole
The Weeping Room
As I was admiring this intimacy chamber, I noticed a little wooden hatch door
on the floor adjacent to the bed. It seemed really odd to me, because it wasn't
fancy and hardly seemed to fit with the rest of the room. I asked the Lord why
it was there, and He told me that it led down to another room in the house.
I asked Him why He would put this door so close to the most beautiful thing
in the whole room, the bed. He responded, "I keep it here, because down there
is where I spend most of my time". Instantly my curiosity was stirred so I asked
what was down there. He said it was called the "Weeping Room".
Although it hardly sounded like a room I wanted to be in, there was a cry in
my heart that said that if that is where the Lord spends His time, then that
is where I want to go. I asked Him if I could go down there with Him, and He
responded "Very few will choose to go down there, it's not extravagant like
this room, it's lonely, it's not comfortable, and you have to get very low to
fit through the door." I told Him that I didn't care what the conditions would
be like; I just really wanted to be wherever He was.
So we opened the little hatch door and began to slowly climb down a dark staircase
until we came upon the tiny room. I had to get on my knees to fit through the
door because it was so small. As we entered the room it was very simple. All
it consisted of was a small wooden chair. One of the walls had a small window
in it. The Lord took His seat on the chair and turned His face to look out the
window. Instantly I became aware of why this room was called the weeping room.
You Could Hear Every Cry
As you looked out the window - you could see and hear every single cry coming
from people on the earth. You could see every single act of injustice all at
the same time. Every starving child crying out to God, every woman being raped,
every moan of the rejected ... you could hear every prayer, every cry all at
the same time. The Lord sat in His chair and watched and heard it all.
At once I was overwhelmed with intercession and began to weep. I wept for hours.
I wept for those who were hurting, but even more - I was undone by this beautiful
King who would choose to spend His time in this place; This King who paid such
attention to every cry and who was so full of compassion. As I sat and wept
with the Lord, I began to 'feel' His heart-and all my selfish ambition began
to fade away
While we were in that place I noticed that there was another door in the weeping
room. I asked the Lord what was behind that door and He told me that was where
the 'Strategy Room' was. As He said those words, instantly in my spirit I knew
in that room divine strategy for end-time revival was available. Although the
door was still closed, I recognized that Wisdom and Revelation where in there.
Divine Strategy Room
Heavenly blueprints were laid out to see the fulfillment of His kingdom coming
to earth from that room. It was like the hidden room that everybody searches
for. Everyone longs to have divine strategy. I immediately asked if I could
go in there and the Lord soberly told me that I didn't 'fit through the door'.
I instantly understood that I had to spend time in the weeping room. As I began
to really apprehend the heart of God for the poor and the broken, then issues
of my soulish nature would be stripped away until I would become small enough
to fit through the door.
At that moment everything became clear. This was the only way to access divine
strategy. From the place of intimacy God invites us in to a deeper level - He
beckons us into the weeping room-a place where we choose to see what He sees
and feel what He feels. And as we spend time getting the heart of God, things
of our flesh begin to be stripped away until we are small enough to fit through
the door that leads to the strategy room.
I had this encounter over two years ago but I believe that God is now moving
many in the church from the place of intimacy into weeping. This will lead them
into the strategy room. In actuality, you never have to leave the intimacy room;
you just discover the deeper levels. Many have already surrendered themselves
to the weeping room and extravagantly pursued the heart of God for the broken-
they are now being invited into the strategy room.
Invitation to Divine Strategy
I had another encounter a little over a year ago in which I heard a loud voice
say, "It's Time!" and in the Spirit I saw the strategy room door swing open.
God is inviting us into divine strategy that will release a global harvest of
souls, and establish the revelation of His kingdom on earth through overcoming
I believe that as we enter the "strategy room," we will be compelled and moved
by what we have seen and felt in the weeping room. I have a sense that some
have gone before us into the strategy room. Unfortunately, most quickly forgot
what the strategy was for and used it to build their own kingdom. (Haggai 1:3-7)
God is in the process of raising up a whole company of believers who are repulsed
at the idea of building their own kingdom. This company will have their hearts
truly branded with passion and compassion. These are the ones that God is looking
to release into the strategy room. "It's Time!"

Engaging the Revelatory Realm
by Paul Keith Davis
do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have
been only like a boy playing on the seashore and diverting myself now and
then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst
the Great Ocean of Truth lay all undiscovered before me." - Sir
An ocean of divine truth is waiting to be discovered. An unprecedented display
of God's power and authority are about to take place in the church. In this
fascinating book, Paul Keith Davis reveals how those anointed with the Spirit
of Wisdom and Revelation will see an awesome demonstration of God's glory
in the coming days.
"God is about to raise the bar on revelatory ministry.
Just as He did by making sure that none of Samuel's words went unfulfilled,
an acceleration in the prophetic community is about to occur.
"Over the next several years, we will see a generation of "throne room"
prophets emerge. Their words will be more powerful than any that have been
spoken in recent years. Their accuracy will be deadly. Today's prophetic
community will be as small children who are like kindergarteners compared
to the college-level expressions that will come. Their prophetic utterances
will make the ears of the world tingle, just as Samuel's did. These throne-room
prophets will receive their power through their intimacy with the majesty
"In Engaging the Revelatory Realm of Heaven, Paul Keith Davis sheds light
about this new level of revelatory ministry that will be built on intimacy
with a majestic picture of God's throne. His book describes the great call
on those who long to engage with the revelatory realm of Heaven. Their words,
forged in the throne room of God, will cause the ears of many to tingle.
Tingling ears will lead to pricked consciences, which will lead to penitent
hearts. And penitent hearts will lead to a renewed world.
"May God's face shine on you as you read Engaging the Revelatory Realm of
Heaven by my friend, Paul Keith Davis. I pray that it will call you into
a great life of intimacy, service, kindness, and friendship with God."

Shepherd's Rod 2004
by Bob Jones and Paul Keith Davis
|The term "Shepherd's Rod"
comes from Ezekiel 20:37 stating, "and I shall make you pass under the rod,
and I shall bring you into the bond of the covenant." This Scripture symbolically
portrays a shepherd extending his rod as the sheep pass under his staff
for evaluation. In this same way we, as the Lord's sheep, pass under His
staff during this season as further described in Jeremiah 33:13 and Leviticus
The purpose of this booklet is to simply outline the revelations that were
received on that date in order to Biblically convey the revelation to the
believer. It is not the intent of this outline to completely cover all the
truth associated with these revelations. It would take a large book to adequately
elaborate on and communicate all of the Biblical truth realized through
It is our prayer that the believer will study these revelations during the
course of this year to extract all the understanding the Spirit of Truth
will reveal. Much of the truth given in the Shepherd's Rod is like seed
that, once planted, requires time to develop and mature. These revelations
apply to the year that it is given and the years that follow as each revelation
provides greater clarity and focus for the Lord's heart for this generation.
