This is one reason why God would only allow Jesus' body to be in the tomb three days and not four.
Yet we still undergo decay, not just at death but as we age and look in the mirror; we also see the decaying results of sin in the earth.
God is bringing a "fix" to much of this decay by His promised manifestation of the sons of God. Many will begin to live longer and be more healthy, and many will finally leave a life of poverty behind as God blesses His own children on the earth.

I've been sitting on this word for a couple of months, but felt a nudge from Holy Spirit to release it now. I wasn't asking the Lord for a word at the time; I was simply just sitting and thinking with Him when He began to speak to me about 2021. He led me to read Romans 8:19-25 from The Passion Translation.
Eager Expectation
"The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of God's glorious sons and daughters! For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futility resulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with EAGER EXPECTATION, all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to God's children. To this day we are aware of the universal agony and groaning of creation, as if it were the contractions of labor for childbirth." (Romans 8:19-22)
While the earth is groaning, God has, and is, preparing His sons and daughters for what He has planned and will bring about.
I released a prophetic word at the end of 2016 (published here on the Elijah List) about the coming of God's glory upon the earth. I remember He showed me the Peacock as symbolic of such a display. Everyone would see it! It will be glorious, with all glory going to Him. This word actually seems more relevant for 2021, but maybe that was a heads up from Him. (Photo via Pixabay)
"Until I Become Prayer Itself"
As I began to write down what He was saying, I felt such passion in my heart; I believe I was feeling the longing that some Believers in the earth are feeling—a crying out to Him for more of Him! He led me to Psalm 109:4, a prayer of David, saying, "...I will pray until I become prayer itself." I read that, in the Hebrew, this literally means "I am prayer." WOW!
We "become prayer" when our hearts are so joined with His that they beat as one. I believe we can become that intimate with Him.
The final Scripture He gave me was Psalm 2:8-9: "Ask Me to give you the nations and I will do it, and they shall become your legacy. Your domain will stretch to the ends of the earth. And you will shepherd them with unlimited authority, crushing their rebellion as an iron rod smashes jars of clay!"
The Time of Ownership & the "Master Askers"
My thoughts became focused on how we need to be "master askers" for all things Kingdom. Many of us have been praying for years hoping the "prayer bowls" will tip, and at times they have! Praise God! But we are living in different times now.
As I continued to "think with Him" (basically I was quiet, waiting for Him to speak) I was looking out over the lake, inwardly thanking Him for His goodness, for simply being there, always, even when I was unaware of it. I heard Him speak again, saying:
"The words 'lack' and 'poverty' will not be heard in the courts of the righteous; rather, you will see abundant provision released, financing the need to love, to train, to teach, to impart, to clothe and to feed (both physically and spiritually) My children." (Photo via Pixabay)
He went on to say that Kingdom Financiers are being trained with a fresh entrepreneurial spirit to generate wealth. I was sensing the need to OWN—own land, own properties...simply put, the need for ownership. This seemed very important.
Since that day, somewhere near the end of November, I have been praying and pondering upon these things. As we are seeing the nations in turmoil, it surely is time for the sons and daughters of God to arise! Amen and amen!

It is interesting that though we, as mortal beings, have had to all undergo "decay" (as mentioned below) – that concept of the Body of Christ undergoing decay was so abhorrent that God said He would not allow Jesus to undergo decay!
