"2017 - The Year of the Peacock"

 I really enjoyed reading this insightful word from Pasty Southway of the United Kingdom...about the "Year of the Peacock." Believe me...when God wants to get something across to you, nothing will stop Him AND He will confirm a thing over and over if necessary.
Pasty shares some awesome revelation with some physical signs the Lord showed her for this upcoming year and season.

As I've been listening to the Lord recently regarding the coming year He spoke to me saying that next year will be the "Year of THE PEACOCK."
I read that the peacock symbolizes vision, awakening, watchfulness and royalty. As I've been pondering these things and thinking about peacocks, the Holy Spirit continued to speak to me regarding the display of the peacock feathers. If you have ever watched a peacock displaying its beautiful feathers there is something wonderfully beautiful and elegant about its display.
In the same way, the display of God's glory will be so on display that we will see an ever increasing/enlargement of territory, abundance, goodness, and righteousness with an overwhelming abundance of God's love that most of us haven't even seen yet.

"2017 - The Year of the Peacock"

As I've been listening to the Lord recently regarding the coming year He spoke to me saying that next year will be the "Year of THE PEACOCK."
The peacock is first mentioned in the Bible during the time of Solomon. 1 Kings 10:22, "For the King had merchant ships at sea with the fleet of Hiram. Once every three years the merchant ships came bringing gold, silver, ivory apes and monkeys/peacocks."
I read that the peacock symbolizes vision, awakening, watchfulness and royalty. As I've been pondering these things and thinking about peacocks, the Holy Spirit continued to speak to me regarding the display of the peacock feathers. If you have ever watched a peacock displaying its beautiful feathers there is something wonderfully beautiful and elegant about its display.
In the same way, the display of God's glory will be so on display that we will see an ever increasing/enlargement of territory, abundance, goodness, and righteousness with an overwhelming abundance of God's love that most of us haven't even seen yet.
2016 Meaning and Beyond
At the beginning of this year, the Lord gave me a word about 20 being the John 10:10 (life in abundance) and 16 the double eight—new beginnings. 2017 will be a continuing of the John 10:10 and life will be part of the display of God's abundance and goodness in this coming year.
"Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth – everyone who is called by My name, whom I created for My GLORY, whom I formed and made" (Isaiah 43:6-7). The prophet Isaiah states that God's people exist to display His glory!
"I am the Lord, that is My name. I will not give My glory to another." (Isaiah 42:8)
Many of us that have been through major challenging times in many areas of our lives over the past few or more years. Know without doubt, that apart from Him, we can do absolutely nothing (see John 15:5). When the display of God's glory, God's abundant provision, and God's creative business ventures kick off, we will know that everything that's occurring is because we have been brought low in Him—in preparation to rise high!
I saw in the spirit that many sons and daughters were not only being brought into places of great influence but just like Joseph, there are those who will be involved with the transference of wealth that God has prepared ahead of time.
I also saw supernatural provision becoming the norm as the enemy's distractions, especially regarding finances, were broken off and the children of God became like an Acts 2 people where, "All who believed came together and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as everyone had need" (Acts 2:44-45).
The Peacock's Tail
The Peacock's tail feathers are often more than a meter (approx. 3ft) in length like a great fan of beauty and elegance. When the feathers are displayed, the display looks like lots of eyes.
I believe that God is giving us a greater measure of seeing. This will not be reserved for a few, but for sons and daughters with a desire to see God's Kingdom come—in the measure that He desires.
I saw many, many prophets coming into their bloom years! This will be open doors and open windows, often opening with a domino effect, as God unhinges the most radical visions and expectations!
An Open Door Season
Last week while I was in Israel, two days before we left, my friend awoke early and went to the bathroom. I heard her return to her bed. Then I heard our hotel room door open. Thinking she had decided to go for a early morning walk, I was then fully awake so I decided to pop to the bathroom. As I got out of bed I could see that our room door was open! I noticed also that my friend was back in her bed! Slightly disturbed, I spoke to my friend about this. She said it wasn't open when she popped to the bathroom twenty minutes earlier.
As I walked into the bathroom, God said to me, "This is an open door for you Patsy. I'm opening many doors right now. Be ready to walk through them; don't get distracted."
A sign! On that same day we walked to the Jaffa Gate, near the Wailing Wall, in Jerusalem to post some postcards. As we wandered around a few stalls/shops I saw the most beautiful peacock scarf. It was hand-embroidered onto a purple cloth and was on display for sale and I purchased it.
2017 Will Be the Year of the Peacock!
2017 will be the display of the manifestation of the goodness, the love, the compassion, and the fulfillment of the many promises of God. This will happen as we move more and more into the supernatural realm—seeing what Father is doing and saying (John 5:19)—just like Jesus did.
