2007: THE SWORD OF THE LORD--EXPECT SWIFT AND RAPID CHANGE"
"Expect swift shift and rapid change--the winds of change have been blowing for several years, but never with the intensity we will see in these days."

CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF CHRIST
God's highest goal for our life is for us to be conformed to the image of Christ. Paul penned in Romans 8:29-30,
"For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified."
The Spirit of truth is commanding us to walk with clean hands and a pure heart on our journey to His holy hill, drawing ever closer to our Lord. Notice in Psalm 24:3-4,
"Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully."
We can only approach the throne of God with confidence and boldness if our hearts are clean. The writer of the book of Hebrews reminds us in Hebrews 4:16,
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
Again we are instructed how to approach God's throne in Hebrews 10:22-23,
"Let us draw near with a true (honest and sincere) heart in full assurance of faith (by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled from an evil (guilty) conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (reliable, sure)."
NO COMPROMISE
"There has never been such a season of advancement as the one we are entering into...."
The Body of Christ is in a season of no compromise--this is a time to confront carnality in our lives. The warning is extremely clear: be sure your sin will find you out (see Numbers 32:23). God will expose how foolish it is to attempt to cover-up your sins,
"For the bed is too short to stretch out on, And the covering so narrow that one cannot wrap himself in it." Isaiah 28:20
Let God deal radically with the sin in your life. Spend time laying your heart bare before the Lord, and ask Him to search deeply within. Hear the cry for an exposed clean heart in Psalm 139:23,
 "Search me (thoroughly), O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!"
Only as the Spirit of truth searches our heart will we truly know what is within, (see Jeremiah 17:9-10). Our heart can become extremely twisted, and so deceptive, that we cannot know it. In 2 Corinthians 13:5, Paul encourages us to examine ourselves, to see whether we are in the faith.
"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified."
We are told to examine ourselves to make dead sure we are truly walking in faith. Quickly and completely come clean, confessing every known sin. Let nothing stand between you and the Lord (see 1 John 1:9). If we permit hidden, unconfessed sin to lodge within our heart, our progress of moving forward with the Lord will stop (see Psalm 66:18). Paul writes,
"Therefore 'Come out from among them and be separate,' says the Lord. 'Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.'" 2 Corinthians 6:17
As reported in Joshua 3:2-4, we too, must busy ourselves by preparing the people to advance to move forward into position, because there has never been such a season of advancement as the one we are entering into. The people must be prepared, because we have never been to where we are going now.
NO COMPROMISE WITH THE FLESH
Our prayer must be: "Lord, restore my passion for Jesus." The blood of Christ has provided us with overwhelming victory--we do not have to continue living in defeat, however, it will require our persistent dedication to overcome the strongholds against us. If we will dedicate ourselves again, and resolve to obey Him, this can change. We can start walking in lifelong victory.
The pure in heart will see the Lord (see Matthew 5:8). The happiest, most content people in the world are those totally trusting Christ--those standing strong and straight on Christ, who is the solid Rock (see Matthew 7:23-24).
Trusting in Jesus brings great peace. The great and precious song states:
"Trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey."
This is one of the most important aspects of the Christian walk: learning how to quickly obey the voice of the Spirit of God (see John 10:3-5). Never run from God, but
run to Him. God longs to help us, not hurt us. God has promised to never leave us, but to live in us and always be with us and, because He is always with us (see Hebrews 13:5), we are assured of the overwhelming victory.
EVANGELISM WILL REAP THE HARVEST
This is an unprecedented season: entire nations will be shaken for the cause of Christ, and evangelism will again be the Church's most important mission. Expect swift shift and rapid change--the winds of change have been blowing for several years, but never with the intensity we will see in these days.
THE COMING TRAIN WRECK--A FUSION OF FAVOR AND FAITH
"This decade will be known as 'the days of the sword, the Spirit, the Word and power.'"
We have entered into a time of critical mass that will produce a forceful fusion. God is causing the "The Favor Factor" and "The Faith Factor" to be joined in an extremely powerful way. This will be released in awesome power for the establishing of Kingdom authority.
It will take remarkable displays of God's demonstrated power to win this generation (see 1 Corinthians 2:1-5). In John 2:23, we read,
"...many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did."
 In a powerful prophetic trance, I was shown two extremely fast locomotives, each moving full speed ahead. However, they were approaching each other, but they were on two separate tracks. I noticed the name on one of the massive train engines was FAVOR, and I observed the name of the other locomotive as being FAITH.
I thought these two trains were going to pass by each other very quickly and closely, but then my attention was directed toward an approaching engineer. I could see He was wearing a bright, shiny conductor's uniform. He approached the tracks and stood at the switch. He positioned the switch in such a manner as to cause both trains to speed head-on toward each other. Shocked, knowing this would result in a huge train wreck, I said,
"Sir, you have set these trains on a collision course," to which He smiled saying, "YES." It was the Lord. His response removed all the fear from my heart, because I knew then that this must be done to accomplish what was needed. God is bringing about the joining of The Faith Factor and The Favor Factor. God is going to bring them together with such stunning force that it will result in a divine FUSION--releasing true Kingdom authority.
Our day is a day of swift shifting; a radical spiritual revolution is at the door. The sword of the Lord has been drawn. This decade will be known as "the days of the sword, the Spirit, the Word and power." The expression of Christianity is about to change, moving from talk to demonstration. Expect God to display His mighty deeds by doing new things (see Isaiah 48:6). The invitation is found in Psalm 66:5, that we are to see the awesome deeds of God. Get ready to be awed.
The fear of the Lord is coming. I cannot stress how important it is to be pure of heart. Ask the Spirit to remove every evil thing from your heart; it will be spiritual suicide to attempt to live a double life. Remember, a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways (see James 1:8).
