Kansas was the first state legislature to give women the right to vote in school board elections. Kansas was the first to ratify the equal rights amendment. Racism first became a national issue from Kansas. Lawrence, Kansas was an outpost for freedom and was the " flashpoint" for the Civil War. That is how Kansas got the name ?bleeding Kansas.? There is a massive warfare anointing on this state and the land cannot tolerate prejudice of any kind.
