Yes, I know...it sounds silly, even ridiculous--but the Lord has told me that His Prophets have entered into complete agreement!
I like it when my response to God is especially awesome and Holy sounding when He speaks. My response went something like....
"Huh? What did You say, Lord?"
God said back to me:
"It's true. My Prophets across the world HAVE entered into complete agreement."

Of course, I had to ask for clarification. Here is what I sensed the Lord clearly telling me:
"All those prophets, and even the intercessors, now completely agree. They ALL AGREE that they want to--and are--trying to hear My voice the best and most accurate way they know how!"
Remember the prophet Agabus, by the way? He prophesied to Paul, and Paul then refused to take Agabus' counsel, even if it might be correct. The same is true today.
I was dumbfounded with all of this.
He led me to these facts or truths, clearly revealed in Scripture when prophecy was occurring strongly throughout the Church:
1. AFTER Jesus lived, died, and was resurrected.
2) LONG AFTER the Church was well under way.
3) Long after most of New Testament Scripture was completed.
Prophecy was going out so strong, that the Apostle Paul had to exhort or correct the Church. So many prophets and prophesiers wanted to give the word they were receiving, and Paul said that it was better to let only 2-3 at any one meeting prophesy at one time (be it in a home or building; read all of I Corinthians 12-14).
Yes, the prophecies were flying and Paul actually had to slow them down:
1 Corinthians 14:26-28:
"What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the Church. If anyone speaks in a tongue, two or at the most three should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and God."
It would be hard to imagine out of hundreds of home meetings and other corporate gatherings in that Newly being-formed Church--how to navigate WHO would be allowed in each meeting to give a prophecy, tongue, or interpretation of tongues--and so on. Yet, the decisions as to who could speak at each meeting would be made on a case-by-case basis, of course. And so it is today--all around the Church world.
A Piece of the Puzzle
Then God showed me one of those super large "puzzle boxes." He said that every single tongue or prophecy is "a piece" of a puzzle and when we, on earth, put together a large puzzle, we, of course, look at the photo on the box cover as we put our pieces together (most of us). Someone gets a "corner piece" or an "edge piece" or something in the middle. And then we compare it with the picture to see if we are right.
So it is in
PROPHESYINGS TODAY. People are, by necessity, getting pieces all over the place to this gigantic puzzle and giving it out in prophecy. But, unfortunately, we don't have the picture on the box by which to compare the words we are getting. This is FROM THE LORD, and so it is necessary to be accomplished in this fashion. We must give our piece of the puzzle, even though it appears to contradict what others get. AND sometimes, we should let others prophesy and remain silent while we watch and wait.
For a certainty, in the New Testament Church, people were often confident that their own prophecy was the "word for the day." Imagine the frustration when someone else was allowed to prophesy and they gave what appeared to be an opposing word. The same is true today.
So, we are all in agreement--that we are trying to get our own piece of the puzzle "right."

How often we discover that conflicting words, sometimes even by the same prophet, come true--at a later date--in the most unusual way.
It is wonderful to see that the prophets and intercessors and those who speak in songs, hymns, and spiritual songs ARE IN FACT in perfect agreement--they ALL are attempting to lay down their piece of the puzzle. As we speak, the puzzle looks all messy. Pieces are all over the surface of the Church.
Finally, remember there are those pieces that appear to fit and then we later say to ourselves, "Oh, I guess that piece doesn't go there after all. I wondered why it wasn't quite a fit." That is a picture of prophesying in the Church today. This Prophecy that didn't quite fit was not and is not false prophecy (when it doesn't quite fit), but just slightly off--or as some say, "It was close, but no cigar" (an American expression of course).
Keep giving your piece(s) of the prophetic puzzle and let others give theirs.
It's easier when you discover that we are already in agreement
