We Have
Repositioned Ourselves
The year 2006 is almost over, and the "Kingdom
Merging and Repositioning" has taken place. Myself and many others have
merged and repositioned ourselves this year. As I stated in the 2006
insight (to view, click
here), this merging and repositioning was to get
us on track, so we can see further than
we ever have. It was to get us in the place where we need to be.
The purpose for 2006, was to be placed in the correct position for 2007. God
plants us, especially in a dry land, just so He can answer the call of His
worshippers. He can then come, and pour out the oil of anointing on us, starting
at our head, which will run down and drip off of our hem, and onto the
land, thus healing the land.
In the story of the woman with the issue of blood
(Mark 5), as she merged and repositioned
herself, I believe we see how her "next
year" turned out! She elbowed her way through the opinions of the crowd,
merged with the flow of the Jesus parade, and repositioned herself to touch the
hem of His garment.
2007, will be a year that we will be glad we elbowed our way
through the opinions of the crowd. It will be a year that the "impact" of the merging and
repositioning will be made manifest.
We are about to witness God's unseen Glory in 2007. The
repositioning that took place in 2006 is what caused us to be in the right
place at the right time, allowing us to make-up for lost time and lost ground. That miracle "gift"
is approaching--2007 is almost here! We are almost at the seashore to sit with
Christ on the sand (John 21).
A Year to
Make-up Lost Time and Regain Lost Ground
"A second chance comes swiftly."
God loves His children more than we can ever understand! This is why in 2007, God will
provide opportunities for us to make-up for lost ground and make-up for lost time! I don't know about you, but I have lost
ground and time, and I WANT IT BACK!
Peter
denied Jesus "Three times in a row" (Matthew
26). As Peter wept bitterly, I'm sure he felt terrible that he had lost some
ground. I believe it bothered him as the days went by, wishing he could make it
up to the Lord. Yet, 'lo and behold, another opportunity--a "second chance" came
Peter's way. After Christ arose, He was sitting on the sand by the seashore, and
in John 21 (paraphrased), Christ asked Peter:
"Peter, do you love Me?
Peter replied: "Yes, Lord."
Jesus said: "Feed My lambs."
Jesus asked a second time, "Peter, do you love Me?"
Peter once again replied, "Yes, Lord."
Jesus said, "Feed My lambs."
Jesus asked the third time in a row, "Peter, do you love Me?"
Peter replied, "Yes, Lord, You know all things--You know I love you!"
Jesus said, "Feed My sheep."
Three times in a row--Jesus asked Peter a simple, "Do you love Me?", and
He provided Peter with a chance to respond and make-up lost ground for the three
times in row that he denied Christ!
We have come to the place by the seashore
where Peter sat with Jesus. Listen, you can hear the questions from God
coming, and with it, "a second chance comes swiftly." That second chance is many different
things for many different people, and there is no way to cover them all.
Friends, you know what yours is! We all have different things we want to regain and make-up for.
All I can say is, "We can't let Him get this close and pass us by."
We
have to reach out and touch the hem. The Jesus parade of unseen Glory is coming
by in 2007. Reach out, grab a hold of it, and follow Him to the place of questions.
The
power of regaining lost ground and lost time is in the answers we give Him!
Two of the greatest questions He ever asked:
"Who do you say that I Am?" and
"Do you love Me?"
In
2007, we will follow Him to the seashore, and there He will ask us questions,
and there we
will answer Him!
