Stay the Course
Word originally released on August 12, 2026:
One of the greatest skills you can develop is consistency. Most people start off strong, but after a little progress, they begin to slack off. When you stay the course, you keep making progress until what you want to achieve is done!
The Lord gave me the phrase "stay the course," because in order to achieve what God has called you to do, you have to remain consistent, faithful, and diligent to tackle your assignment! Most people have no issue starting, but very few will actually finish what they set out to do. So many people are so close to their breakthrough, but they give up right before they see the manifestation of it.
Hebrews 12:1 says, "Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us." Running with endurance means running in a way that is sustainable for long periods of time. You change your life one habit at a time; you don't change twenty habits all at once. You can run your race with endurance when you run at a pace that you can hold. But here's what is interesting: When you have been holding your pace, and you see the finish line, you pick UP the pace. You increase when you make progress on your goals and see them completed!
Every person was sent to this earth with purpose and with a calling, but putting your purpose to work is up to you! 2 Timothy 1:6 says, "Fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you..." When you fan a flame, you multiply what you started out with! The Kingdom of God is built on increase, so when you start operating in your gift, you will begin to cultivate it and grow in it. The very purpose God put inside of you is for this appointed time and for our broken world. There are people around you who need you to be operating in your gifting everyday.
Staying the course is about continual growth. We should be forever students who never stop learning, growing, and reading. If you aren't growing, you're dying, but you will never feel more alive than when you are operating in your calling, using your gift mix, and making an impact for the Kingdom of God. When you are growing as an individual, everyone around you grows too. This is why your inner circle matters, because when you are around movers, shakers, and growers, you will naturally begin to do the same. Growth is contagious!
Staying the course is rooted in keeping your gaze fixed on what the Lord wants to do in your life. Ask yourself this: "What would my life look like if I committed myself 100 percent to the plan of God for my life?" I believe some of you already know what that is and what it would look like, but you just need the boldness to step into it. Today is the day that you throw caution to the wind, and let loose! The Kingdom of God is advancing, and the Body of Christ needs everyone operating in their calling for this end-time harvest.
Create new habits in your life today that are going to keep you on the course that God has set out for you, and commit to consistency in everything that you do. Remember 2 Timothy 1:6 and multiply your gift. There are people waiting on your yes today!
Supernatural September
Word originally released on August 19, 2026:
The Lord gave me a prophetic word for August titled "All-In August." But even before that, I felt the Lord was showing me that September would be a "Supernatural September." August has been a setup for the outpouring of the Lord in September. It is going to be a month of "suddenlies," where the things you have prayed for finally come to pass.
Isaiah 43:19 says, "For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland" (NLT). The Lord is going to do a new thing in your life in the month of September! (Photo via Unsplash)
A key to unlocking the supernatural in your life is sowing. The Bible says in Luke 6:38, "Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over" (NLT). This is the kind of harvest that supernatural seeds bring. You can't expect to reap what you didn't sow. A farmer would never wonder why corn didn't grow in his field if he never planted corn seeds. In the same way, you can't expect to receive a harvest that you didn't sow for. Over and over in our lives, my wife Autumn and I have sown our biggest seeds when we have had our biggest needs. Supernatural harvests are created by supernatural seeds!
You also have to be ready to steward the blessing that you have been praying for. Use the time left in August to get ready for what God is bringing in September. Over half the year is over, but don't give up on the goals you set out to reach for 2026. "Supernatural September" is a reset and a checkpoint for you to get refocused, refired, and excited about where God is taking you. For those who have been sowing seeds all year round and have been faithful, your season of advancement is here!
Take care of any offense, unforgiveness, or resentment in your heart so that it doesn't prevent you from receiving the breakthrough that is waiting for you. Unforgiveness only hurts you, so refuse to let it be the reason you don't walk through new doors of opportunities. Stay in the place of prayer everyday, and be diligent to keep your heart in check, always. The place of prayer is where I encounter God the most and where I get direction for every area of my life! Supernatural September is a month for growing in your prayer life, spiritual life, and in your finances.
The Scripture I am standing on this year is Ephesians 3:20: "Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think" (NLT). God can do superabundantly more than you could ever dream of if you will submit to His will and fulfill the will of God for your life! "All-In August" and "Supernatural September" are about stepping out of the mundane and walking into the super abundance and freedom that the will of God offers!
