Silence: A Sign of a Major Shift
Habakkuk 1 is one of the most profound dialogues in Scripture, because it records a prophet (Habakkuk) wrestling openly with God about evil, justice, and God's unexpected ways of working. Now unlike many other prophetic books where God speaks through the prophet to the people—whether that be a message of judgment or deliverance—the book of Habakkuk begins with the prophet questioning God Himself, because of what he was seeing in the land.
Habakkuk likely prophesied around 609–605 B.C., just before Babylon invaded Judah. Assyria was collapsing, Egypt was struggling for power, and Babylon was a ruthless rising new empire. Judah had experienced reform under King Josiah, and they had come back to the Lord, but after his death, the nation rapidly descended back into violence, corruption, idolatry, and debauchery. Habakkuk wasn't speaking to a pagan nation first. He was speaking about God's own covenant people. He was wrestling with God about his own land—the condition of his own land—and the covenant that was supposed to be between the people of the land and God.
Now, let's go to Habakkuk 1:1–4:
"The oracle (a burdensome message—a pronouncement from God) which Habakkuk the prophet saw.
"'O Lord, how long will I call for help and You will not hear? I cry out to You, 'Violence!' Yet You do not save.
"Why do You make me see iniquity, and cause me to look on wickedness? For destruction and violence are before me; strife continues and contention arises.
"Therefore, the law is ineffective and ignored and justice is never upheld, for the wicked surround the righteous; therefore, justice becomes perverted." (AMP)
Now, that part, "O Lord, how long will I call for help and You will not hear?" is the essence of what Habakkuk is saying in this passage. This is covenant language. Habakkuk was making a legal case. He was saying, "I have a covenant with You. Therefore when I cry out, You are supposed to answer, Lord, based on the terms of the covenant."
Many times, God's silence is not distance. Many times, He is working in the silence. The book of Esther is a great example of this. God's name is not mentioned once in the whole book, yet He was working to bring forth judgment and a divine reversal behind what was unfolding in Persia. This is similar to how everything around you gets quiet and still before a storm, because there is about to be a very profound shift in the wind and the elements. Sometimes God's silence is because there is about to be a profound and sobering shift.
Habakkuk knew God is righteous. This was why what he saw was so frustrating to him. That was precisely why he could not understand what he saw. Habakkuk was looking across the land and seeing from a flesh and natural standpoint what was happening and getting frustrated. He was not looking at the landscape before him from the perspective of Almighty God's sovereignty and the bigger future picture that the Lord was working to accomplish.
The Way of the Wicked Is Violence (Hāmās)
Notice what filled Judah: violence, injustice, strife, contention, wickedness, and perverted justice. Psalm 1 contrasts the way of the righteous and the way of the wicked and what each will produce, ultimately. The righteous will mature and prosper; the wicked are like chaff (worthless and lacking substance). Chaff is a dry material that is removed from grains and is viewed as having little to no value. This substance is what the wind blows. Chaff has nothing anchoring it; it has no weight, no depth, no substance. Therefore, when the wind comes, the chaff is forced to blow in the direction the wind ultimately dictates.
"O Lord, how long will I call for help and You will not hear? I cry out to You, 'Violence!' Yet You do not save." (Habakkuk 1:2 AMP)
The Hebrew word for "violence" (hāmās) refers not simply to physical violence but to oppression, corruption, exploitation, and lawlessness. "I cry out to you, Lord, 'Hāmās!'"
Look within the earth at what has happened with Hamas, the terrorist organization, in the recent years. There is a reason they are named such. The violence—hāmās—Hezbollah, and Islam are all attached to the same root that has now offshoot into a new branch called the "Democratic Socialists of America."
Habakkuk was saying, "Look, Lord, hāmās, hāmās across the land," meaning violence, violence is on the rise across the land. Now, look at what's on the rise across our land. Look at Islam, the Democratic Socialists of America, strife, and division. The justice system has become completely compromised and perverted. Judges are being caught in bribes, attorney generals are being caught in bribes. We are seeing an uptick in violence from ideological extremists. (Photo via Pexels)
Now, hāmās and Haman are separated by one letter. So, when there is hāmās, Haman is present. Zohran Mamdani has Haman hidden in his name. You can spell Haman from his name. The ayatollah Ali Khamenei had Haman and Amalek hidden within his name. Mojtaba Khamenei has Haman hidden within his name. The names "Hezbollah," "Iran," "Shia," and "Islamists"—when combined—have the name "Haman" hidden within them. You know what else they have hidden in their names? Hāmās (violence) and Noah.
As in the Days of Noah...
Genesis 6 is about the days of Noah.
"The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence." (Genesis 6:11 NKJV)
The word "violence," again, is hāmās, as in the Habakkuk passage. Turn Genesis 6:11 upside down; this is what you get: 911.
In the days of Habakkuk, he saw the righteous becoming surrounded by wicked people until justice itself became twisted.
"Therefore, the law is ineffective and ignored and justice is never upheld, for the wicked surround the righteous; therefore, justice becomes perverted." (Habakkuk 1:4 AMP)
I see these statements all over the place online: "When will arrests be made? Why are these people not in prison? When is justice going to be served? Why has the administration not arrested these people? Why is Obama still walking the streets?"
Guess what is hidden in Barack Hussein Obama's name as well? Haman and Hamas. Guess who else has Haman hidden within their name? Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The name "Ham" is within the name "Haman." Ham was the son of Noah, who was corrupted and begot Canaan. Habakkuk might as well have been living in our time, because he was very closely describing the temperature in our nation, and even globally at the moment. What Habakkuk saw in his time was a cross section of what would greatly multiply in our time. Where his was a concentrated pocket, we are watching this advance across multiple continents.
Haman was from the line of Amalek.
"The Biblical passage, 'God will be at war with Amalek from generation to generation' (Exodus 17:16) attests to the fact that this war will continue in all generations. Since Amalek does not exist as a nation in this generation, the Biblical passage attests to a war being waged against an enemy that is conceptually parallel to Amalek. Amalek attacked without provocation the feeble and exhausted Israelites who were lagging in the rear of the group crossing the desert to the Land of Israel. Amalek, at the time, was the standard bearer of terrorism against the nation of Israel since its inception."(1)
The Hamas Charter and the Spiritual Decline in Generations
"I swear by that who holds in his hands the soul of Muhammad! I indeed wish to go to war for the sake of Allah! I will assault and kill, assault and kill, assault and kill" (Article 15 of the 1988 Hamas Charter).
By their own admission, Islam is a soul tie to the soul of a disembodied spirit.
Now, let's go to Esther 3:9–11 (911); this is Haman talking (Haman is from the line of Amalak, the standard bearer for terrorism): "'If it pleases the king, let it be decreed that they be destroyed, and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who carry out the king's business, to put into the king's treasuries.' Then the king removed his signet ring from his hand [that is, the special ring which was used to seal his letters] and gave it to Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. The king said to Haman, 'The silver is given to you, and the people also, to do with them as you please'" (AMP).
What was Haman saying? He was saying the same thing that is written in the Hamas charter: "Assault and kill."
Guess what else has Ham, Haman, and Hamas hidden in it? Mohammed, the regarded prophet of Islam, who happens to have a very long name: Abū al-Qāsim Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Abd al-Muttalib ibin Hāshim.
Ham is hidden within every "Haman" and "Hamas," and within all the names I've shown you thus far.
Now, why is this important? Ham was the son of Noah, who was the father of Canaan. He belonged to the only family preserved through the Flood. This means Ham experienced the corruption of the pre-Flood world, God's judgment through the Flood, and God's covenant after the Flood. He witnessed both divine wrath and divine mercy firsthand, and he still chose the way of corruption.
One remarkable Biblical pattern is that spiritual decline often begins with the next generation. Here are some examples:
• Adam → Cain
• Noah → Ham
• David → Absalom
• Solomon → Rehoboam
In all these cases, it was the next generation that saw a sharp spiritual decline, and then through corruptive wicked means, attempted to usurp and take power and leadership that was never appointed to them. (Photo via Pexels)
Why do you think the enemy has been after generation Z so viciously? Why do you think the Democratic Socialists of America has been after the younger generation and basically hunting them down to get them to join? Because the way the enemy disrupts a righteous trajectory is he gets someone who is in close proximity to the righteous line to commit to doing his bidding and carrying out his agenda in order to bend the timeline backwards and send things into a spiritual decline.
"And just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the time of [the second coming of] the Son of Man." (Luke 17:26 AMP)
In the days of Noah, Ham, Canaan, and Ai would have all been present, spiritually speaking. (Ham was the father of Canaan, and Ai was a city in the region named after Canaan). Ham was the embodiment of spiritual decline and debauchery. So, "in the days of Noah," we would see Ham and Canaan and Ai birthed in some form. Not only is Ham hidden in "Haman" and "Hamas," but also in what I showed you above: look how many leaders in the past thirty years have Ham hidden in their names and terror groups rising up now. Ham birthed Canaan. Ai was in Canaan, so when Ham rises, Ai rises.
The Pride Flag and the Violet Spirit
Let me just show you something about the pride flag. From 1979 to the present day, the most common variant consists of six stripes: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet (which is purple). The flag is typically displayed horizontally with the red stripe on top, as it would be in a natural rainbow. Its last color is violet, and it's meant to represent "spirit." So it represents a spirit on that flag.
Noah, the father of Ham, is who the Lord gave the rainbow to as a covenant. Noah, Ham, and Ai should then have a commonality in the corruption today that's on the rise, and I will show you what this is in our day, and why it connects to the days of Noah.
Canaan, where Ai existed, is believed to mean "Land of Purple." So the descendants of Ham can be associated with purple. Look at what the color purple means in the gay pride flag—spirit. Because this is the spirit that came through Ham's line from the days of Noah, it is the same spirit that Hamas is working through, and the Palestinian agenda, and these radical ideologies. You know how I know this? Because they have now joined together.
In an article titled "Why Queer Solidarity With Palestine Is Not 'Chickens for KFC,'" it reads, "Many of the loudest protesters have been queer and trans people. Among many moments of LGBTQ+ solidarity, queer journalists have resigned from the New York Times over the paper's coverage of Gaza."(2)
The LGBTQ+ agenda has joined with Palestine, who is run by Hamas. Ham (the spirit of Ham) from the days of Noah is grouping these agendas together more and more. And as this is happening, we have A.I./Ai on the rise. (Remember, the city of Ai was in the land of Canaan, and Canaan was the son of Ham.)
Ai has also joined with the color purple, which on the LGBTQ+ flag means "spirit," because it's the same spirit from Ham's line that these are all offshoots of. Knowing this, it is no accident that Ai is dominated by purple, because Ai comes from Canaan, which is called "Land of Purple," so the origins of Ai in the book of Genesis are birthed out of Canaan.
Canaan was an idolatrous land that replaced their worship of the Lord with demonic beings as their rulers. Canaan's main god was Baal; Baal's name means "he who rides in the clouds." When it comes to A.I., where is everything stored and saved? On the Cloud. So, "in the days of Noah," you would see Ham come to the forefront, A.I. become established, the "rider of the cloud" become a lord, and an established rainbow return. We are seeing all of this transpire within our nation and globally at the same time.
The rainbow flag debuted on June 25, 1978. Pride Month was officially recognized in the United States in 1999 when President Bill Clinton declared June as "Gay and Lesbian Pride Month." If you turn the "9s" in 1999 upside down, you get 666—with the rainbow flag having been established in the sixth month, having six colors, and with six representing the number of man. Hillary Rodham Clinton was the first lady at this time. As I showed you before, you can find Ham and Haman in her name. Ham was the son of Noah; Ham was the father of Canaan. Ham existed and was corrupted shortly after the time when the Lord put a rainbow in the sky as a sign of the covenant between him and Noah.
In the New Testament, Matthew 24:37 says, "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man" (NIV). So then, in the days of Noah, we would see a perversion of the rainbow, and Ham and Canaan and Ai arise.
Guess what is hidden in William Jefferson Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton's names? Noah, Ham, Canaan. Noah is the father of Ham, who is the father of Canaan, in which Ai was birthed and raised out of. The Clintons established Pride Month in a year that is 666 when reversed.
"The days of Noah" Scripture goes way deeper than we think.
God's Answer in the Silence
Now, let's go back to Habakkuk: "Therefore, the law is ineffective and ignored and justice is never upheld, for the wicked surround the righteous; therefore, justice becomes perverted." (Habakkuk 1:4 AMP)
That Hebrew word for "perverted" is aqal; it literally means "to twist," "bend," or make "crooked" (Strong's H6127). Something that is made crooked is no longer straight and in order. When something is bent, it is forced in the direction the dominant force is pushing it to go. There is a greater force in the spirit that is causing the justice system to bend in the direction it wants it to go—not for the benefit of the people, but for the legal robbery of the land.
God finally answered Habakkuk, but He did not answer Habakkuk's question the way he expected. (God will never give you an answer from a flawed perspective of man but from an infinite perspective of His righteousness.) Instead, He said, "I am doing a work in your days which you would not believe though it were told you" (see Habakkuk 1:5). This is one of the most quoted verses in Scripture (also cited in Acts 13), but in context, it is not primarily about blessing. It is about judgment.
"Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you: 'Behold, you despisers, marvel and perish! For I work a work in your days, a work which you will by no means believe, though one were to declare it to you.'" (Acts 13:40–41 NKJV)
At the time of the Acts Church, the words of Habakkuk resounded. God said what Habakkuk had not even thought of: "I have been working all along even if you cannot, with your physical eyes, see the evidence of it." The issue was not divine inactivity. The issue was human inability to recognize God's work when it didn't look the way Habakkuk thought it should. This was the Lord's answer to Habakkuk.
"For indeed I am raising up the Chaldeans, a bitter and hasty nation which marches through the breadth of the earth, to possess dwelling places that are not theirs. They are terrible and dreadful; their judgment and their dignity proceed from themselves. Their horses also are swifter than leopards, and more fierce than evening wolves. Their chargers charge ahead; their cavalry comes from afar; they fly as the eagle that hastens to eat.
"They all come for violence; their faces are set like the east wind. They gather captives like sand. They scoff at kings, and princes are scorned by them. They deride every stronghold, for they heap up earthen mounds and seize it. Then his mind changes, and he transgresses; he commits offense, ascribing this power to his god." (Habakkuk 1:6–11 NKJV)
From this it is clear Almighty God can raise up a nation to exact judgment on another, and just because it doesn't look the way we think it should look doesn't mean it's not God; it means we may be failing to recognize the time we are in. This is why, "as in the days of Noah"—when you examine the Scriptures and what has unfolded in the past decades—you begin to see beyond the surface to what you couldn't see before.
