Kislev: the Hebrew Month Known for Miracles
We are in the month of Kislev, the month on the Hebrew calendar known as the month of miracles. After the Maccabees reclaimed their temple in Jerusalem from the Seleucids, it needed to be rededicated, including the lighting of the Menorah. There was only enough pure oil for one day, but it lasted the full eight days. December is also the month that most Christians celebrate the miraculous birth of Christ our Savior, born of God through a virgin! Our God is a miracle-working God, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever—believe! I can testify that this is a month of miracles!
A Kislev Miracle
We traveled to visit family for Thanksgiving this year, and the date we left was Kislev 1. I sensed at the time that it was significant, and it was! We had been experiencing a situation in our family where two people who were extremely close all their lives had a terrible falling out. One was holding onto anger and bitterness and would not reconcile. I was heartbroken but never stopped praying or believing God and praising Him, because I knew God's heart and will is always for reconciliation! I knew that the battle was the Lord's and believed God would work it all together for their good (Romans 8:28). I knew He was working in each of their hearts during this time!
Suddenly, the one who had been holding onto the anger contacted the other, and their relationship was restored! The next day, another relationship that had been severed eight years was restored! Stand in faith and continue praying. God is always working on hearts, even when we can't see it!
Besides miraculous relationship restorations this month, I am also seeing financial provision, deliverances, healings and spiritual awakenings! The Spirit of God is moving and hearts are ready; take bold steps of faith! Many times, I've seen that the things I prophesy and pray for others then happen in my life too! Give and it shall be given unto you; this is a Kingdom principle!
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you." (Luke 6:38 WEB)
The season is upon us for the fulfillment of those dreams you have been believing for, waiting for, and praying for.
I heard the Lord say, "Trust My goodness; ask and receive, for all things are possible for those that believe!" (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
"Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." (Mark 11:24 NKJV)
Prayer, Praise, and Perseverance Birth Suddenlies!
Your heartfelt worship is powerful! I have two testimonies of receiving healings when I was worshiping (after much perseverance in prayer). One was miraculous. I was in a lot of pain and had loss of feeling at times. After much testing, the doctor said that I had a syrinx in my spine, and if they operated or did nothing, in time I would be paralyzed from the waist down! Daily I worshiped, declared healing Scriptures over myself, prayed, and received others' prayers... for months! One day as I worshiped, God moved suddenly! I went back to the doctor and had another test done; the syrinx in my spine was gone! Suddenly!
"But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's chains were loosed." (Acts 16:25–26 NKJV, italics mine)
"And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, 'If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.' But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, 'Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.' And the woman was made well from that hour." (Matthew 9:20–22 NKJV, italics mine)
Be faithful in pursuit and the breakthrough will come! Don't stop believing no matter what you see with your eyes. Let nothing move you away from the reality that God is good, faithful, all powerful and with you always! He honors His name and word above all else!
"For I proclaim the name of the LORD: Ascribe greatness to our God. He is the Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are justice, a God of truth and without injustice; righteous and upright is He." (Deuteronomy 32:3–4 NKJV)
"I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and Your truth; for You have magnified Your word above all Your name." (Psalm 138:2 NKJV)
Be Expectant in Your Waiting
Many lose hope and stop believing when much time passes. God is faithful and always fulfills His word!
"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11 NKJV) (Photo via Unsplash)
Surround yourself with faith-filled people. Remember your own testimonies and those of others. There are so many faith testimonies in the Word of God. Of Abraham (the father of our faith) it states, "... who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, 'So shall your descendants be.' And not being weak in faith, he did not consider his own body, already dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah's womb. He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore 'it was accounted to him for righteousness'" (Romans 4:18–22 NKJV).
Abraham was strengthened in faith as he gave glory to God! God is always working in you!
"For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." (Philippians 2:13 NKJV)
"For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him." (Isaiah 64:4 NKJV)
Silence Lying Voices!
The devil knows his time is short; his agenda is to steal, kill, and destroy what God has created and ordained (John 10:10)! He brings lying voices of doubt and unbelief, wanting us to give up and bow down under oppression! Speak the truth and silence the lies!
"God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?" (Numbers 23:19 NKJV)
This Is Your Season!
Nearly forty years ago the Lord said to me, "A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men" (Proverbs 18:16 NASB1995). I had no idea at that time what that meant and had no idea of my gift(s), but I held it in my heart.
Recently, I heard the Lord say that many need to know and believe this verse! What God has put inside you is more precious than gold and needed in this hour! You don't have to strive for it; be faithful in what He sets before you and trust Him. He goes before you and makes the crooked places straight, opening doors man himself cannot open! Be alert to His Spirit and yield to His promptings; you will be amazed at what He will do and the doors that will open! Your gifts will become apparent to you and others as you walk with the Lord! If you have lost your way, just turn again to Him; He is faithful! (Photo via Pixabay)
"For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." (Romans 11:29 NKJV)
"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10 NKJV)
Believe and You Will See the Glory of God!
The Holy Spirit has been reminding me continually of John 11:40: "Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?" (NKJV).
Only believe! If God has said it, it is already done in eternity, and He is looking for those whose hearts are perfect towards Him to show Himself strong on their behalf (see 2 Chronicles 16:9); ones whose hearts are perfectly positioned in faith towards Him. Faith is the currency of Heaven!
Your situation may look impossible, but nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37)! That dead dream, the prodigal son or daughter, the bad health report... every situation that looks dead and buried is ripe ground for new life to spring forth, for the glory of God to be seen! Believe God! Stand on HIS power, HIS words, HIS ways, HIS faithfulness! Jesus Himself is interceding for you!
"Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us." (Romans 8:34 NKJV)
"Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them." (Hebrews 7:25 NKJV)
I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, "I hear every prayer and see every tear. It is time to let go of doubt and fear, for I AM and I AM always near. What you see as shattered is not the end of the matter! Believe, and you will see My glory. I am working every detail into a beautiful story."
