In light of Charlie Kirk's death in September, I had been praying and seeking the Lord to get more understanding of what was taking place in our nation. A few days after his death, the Lord gave me a dream.
Encountering God's Heart at the Gate of the United States of America
In the dream I found myself in a cafeteria. The cafeteria was full of people who were working in the same building as the cafeteria.
Suddenly, my attention was drawn to two familiar people that I knew. The first person represented a pearl, wisdom, and a child of light. The second person represented being crowned with victory. In the midst of these two people, there was a young boy and girl running around. I believe they represented hope and promise and childlike faith.
After I finished interacting with those people, I found myself asking where I was. The scene had changed, and I found myself in a big dry field. To my left was this massive prestigious building that had pillars. I went around to the front, and I began to look up and down at it. As my eyes raised to the front of this building, I saw the words "The United States of America" inscribed on it.
I found myself standing in front of the capitol building. What stuck out to me was that it wasn't the whole building; it was just the front of the building. I found myself standing at the gate, or the portal, to the United States of America, which is through the heart of Washington, D.C. (Photo via Pexels)
Over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of chaos, a lot of strife, and a lot of opinions, but we must get the mind of God on what's taking place.
Great Hope for America and the Next Generation of Leaders
The cafeteria represents the Church and its laborers. I believe the Lord gave me this dream to show that there is still hope and promise for America. It's important that we don't allow ourselves to lose our childlike faith.
In the same breath, there are many whom God has called to the governmental realm. God is maturing the next generation of leaders. It's important to allow God to process you, just like how the pearl becomes a pearl through great pressure and irritation. It may feel like our nation is in a moment of defeat, but God has crowned His children with victory.
Who Will Stand at the Gate?
Another take away from this dream is who will stand at the gate to watch and pray? Who will be those that carry the Spirit of justice and carry courage to turn back the enemy at the gate? The enemy is at the gate of America. We are in a spiritual battle. Take your position, and let's turn back the enemy.
"For a Child is born to us, a Son is given to us. The government will rest on His shoulders. And He will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6 NLT)
"He will be a Spirit of justice for judges to render right decisions. And He will be strength and bravery for those who turn back the battle at the gate." (Isaiah 28:6 TPT)
