This prophetic word is for the Body of Christ as a whole. While there is a specific line towards Australia, it is not limited to that nation but carries a wider message for all who hear it. The following are four of the strong themes for this coming year.
Divine Breakthrough
There have been faithful people over this past season who have been keeping the pressure on and pushing back, having experienced real warfare over regions and nations. For some, it has cost them a great deal to hold back darkness. The Lord says, "Thank you for not leaving your post. I am a God of recompense. Suddenly things will turn. Have an expectation."
I heard the Lord say, "Australia will be known as a nation of the suddenly."
Then I heard a loud sound like breaking glass in the spirit realm. I knew it was symbolic of those who are breaking through right now in the Body of Christ. There are ceilings and limitations being smashed over people's lives, over mindsets, allowing them to believe what they could not believe. Things that seemed impossible will come into focus.
To have breakthrough means we have broken through something, which requires effort, pressure, endurance, warfare, intercession, and surrender. Some breakthroughs will only happen when we have surrendered to the promise. The promises don't always need more faith or more prayer; they need surrender. This is a time to yield to the promises of God so we can see them manifested.
The Lord reminded me that we are serving the "Lord of the Breakthrough." He is the one breaking through, not us.
The name "Baal-perazim" is derived from 2 Samuel 5:20, where King David defeated the Philistines and renamed the region "Baal-perazim," because the Lord had broken through his enemies "as the breaking forth of waters."
David changed the name of that place. It was previously called the "Valley of Giants," a region identified by giants and intimidation. What happened? The Philistines had come to the Valley of Giants to intercept David. David inquired of the Lord, asking if He would deliver them into his hand. God said yes, gave him prophetic strategy, and David defeated them. What was once a place of fear and defeat in Israel's history became a memorial of God's victory. (Photo via Unsplash)
God is turning the things in our lives that were once a place of defeat and fear into a place of victory in this season.
There is an emphasis to all prophetic people in this season: It's time to co-create with God—not just to release a word into the atmosphere, but to keep the dialogue going with God. Inquire with the Lord until it breaks through. Strike the ground until the word becomes flesh.
The prophetic words we receive and minister are often impressions, perceptions, and visions born out of a moment of inspiration in a worship service or intercessory prayer. While that is amazing, and we love and appreciate those moments, the Bible is full of examples of prophecies that emerge from longer periods of prayer, fasting, and dialogue with God. The result is called "revelatory prophecy." This type of intentional revelatory prophecy unlocks timelines, births things, brings manifestation, aligns destinies, and shifts atmospheres.
Breakthrough in our lives will cause us to step into a season of divine resources and favor that exceed what we could ever ask, think, or imagine. In places where there has been a lack of natural or financial resources, insufficient backing, or limited investment to accomplish Kingdom assignments, I sense there will now be a supernatural release to fulfill Kingdom assignments. Specifically, I see private and governmental funding being unlocked across various sectors that have been closed to strengthen and propel the marketplace forward.
This is the appointed hour to pursue everything God has placed in our hearts. Dreams that were once delayed or forgotten are now coming into fulfillment. The Lord also spoke to me about generational harvests and blessings that have not been claimed. This is the time to cry out.
A Call to Walk in Purity and Holiness
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent." (Acts 17:30 KJV)
In this season, the Lord is not overlooking things that were once tolerated. Jesus is calling His apostolic and prophetic family to a greater level of purity and holiness. The Lord is revealing the pure sound of His voice. There has been a refining of the apostolic and prophetic streams for what lies ahead. Jesus is leading the whole Body into this purity and holiness, but He is highlighting the importance of the apostolic and prophetic streams coming into deeper holiness. He is purifying both individuals and the corporate Body so that we may carry true authority—the kind that flows only from clean, uncontaminated waters.
It is dangerous for us to operate out of our soul. Sometimes people are so passionate about things, they become influenced by their desire. Our words cannot be polluted with our opinions, pain, personal doctrines, offenses, judgments, personal gain, etc. God is restoring apostolic and prophetic voices in this land that will carry authority needed for the greater glory.
This is a time when Jesus is calling us. "Deep calls to deep" (Psalm 42:7). The deep things of God are crying out to the depths inside mankind. We are the voices crying in the wilderness, "Prepare the way of the Lord!"
God is calling us to move beyond simply believing in Jesus. He is calling us to enter realms of revelation and explore the dimensions of His nature, where we co-create with Him. He is releasing new strategies in prayer and worship, spiritual intelligence, and wisdom—not only for the Church but also for influence in the marketplace.
There is an invitation to go deeper. This is a time when Jesus is giving us the invitation to follow Him. He is not following us or our doctrines or ideas. The veil is rent. He wants us to take what we see and hear and bring it to pass by decreeing or striking the ground until it comes to pass.
In a vision, I saw Jesus standing before a river. He reached out and separated it into two streams. One became muddy and stagnant, while the other remained clear and flowed rapidly. The clear stream represents those who have allowed the Lord's purification, those who will carry His voice with power and clarity. He is not saying He loves one group more than the other, but He is saying He is enlarging the capacity of those who will flow in the purified waters. (Photo via StockCake)
A Fresh, Rising Hunger for the Word of God
There is a fresh, rising hunger to hear God through the Scriptures as a platform for what God is saying and doing in the earth. There is a washing of the Word that's needed over God's people and the nations to bring healing. We are clean through the washing of the Word, as Scripture says in Ephesians 5:26.
Jesus often speaks to me in parables, showing me something that's happened in the Word and comparing it to what is happening right now in the world. Encounter is important, but knowing Jesus through the Scriptures is essential for the next season.
Man's purity is "don't do this or that." The purity of God is the foundation of His power. There is a movement rising, an awakening to the fear of God in this generation—not to religious rules, but to the freedom that is attached to the holiness of our God.
Prophetic Evangelism
Prophetic evangelism is being released through many who have carried a message and lived that message. They are now becoming the answer for those who are searching in this generation.
The prophetic and evangelistic anointings are merging in a powerful new way. There is a marriage of the prophet and evangelist. Many prophetic voices will be surprised by how God uses them to bring in the harvest in this hour. This combination of prophetic insight and evangelistic outreach is largely untapped, but it has started all over the earth. A lot of young people are coming out of witchcraft, New Age, the woke spirit, gender confusion, etc.
The people of God can't be fearful of darkness. We are the light that is breaking through darkness!
