     Dear ElijahStreams Family,
People have spoken a phrase over certain villages in Uganda—and it lands like a death sentence: "You will never have clean water."
They haven't just said it once. Over and over again, they've told entire villages
it's not possible. The terrain is too rocky. The elevation's too high. Companies came, tried, failed, and left. They marked it "dry." Moved on. Closed the file.
These villages were written off. Labeled "impossible." Forgotten. But here's what we know:
God never calls anyone or anything hopeless.
He doesn't check a box and move on. He looks again. He digs deeper. He listens. He leads.

And that's exactly what happened recently with one of the Show Mercy water engineers, John.
He heard about a village where others had tried and failed in their attempt to drill for water. He could have looked at the same reports, seen the same red flags, and passed it by. But he didn't. He went anyway.
And he didn't go with just tools and maps. He went with prayer, compassion, and a conviction that God still speaks, even in places where others have given up.
Because to John, this isn't just engineering.
This is ministry. It's a calling. It's love in action.
These aren't project numbers. These are people. Families. Mothers watching their children suffer from waterborne diseases like typhoid. Grandparents praying for just one clean drink.

John met a woman in the village who shared how her little girl was constantly sick. The only water they had was filled with bacteria. Bathing in it gave her rashes. Flies were
everywhere. It felt endless. Hopeless. But in John's heart, something rose up and said: No! We must try to provide water for these people.
Before they began the process, the team did what they always do. They prayed. They invited the entire village to join in prayer. They asked for wisdom. They invited the Wonderful Counselor to lead them. And then, they got to work.

They didn't rely on what others had said. They studied the land again. Read the graphs. Adjusted their methods. In areas with fragile soil, they recognized the need to slow the drilling process. So, they tried a different method.
John later said, "It was faith, and it was diligence. We didn't move on too quickly. We believed it was possible, and we worked like it was possible."
     And then it happened.
Water came bursting from the ground. Children danced. Tears fell. And a mother dropped to her knees beside the well, overwhelmed with relief and joy.
Her daughter could drink clean water. She could sleep through the night. And all the mother could say was, "God didn't forget us."
"This isn't just engineering. This is the hand of God moving through science. The same God who split rocks in the wilderness...He's still doing it today." -John, Show Mercy Water Engineer |
"The poor and needy search for water, but I, the Lord, will answer them."
-lsaiah 41:17
For that village, it wasn't just a breakthrough. It was a message straight from Heaven: I see you. I have not forgotten you. With Me, all things are possible.
And that's exactly what Jesus is doing through you. There are numerous water projects out there. And any of them could use support.

     But when you give through
ElijahStreams, you're doing much more than funding a water well. Your support isn't just a donation... It's a powerful contribution to Spirit-led solutions.
You're standing with teams who listen to the Holy Spirit before they act. It sends hope into places the world has labeled "impossible," reminding us all that with God, all things are possible.
This is what we do together: We don't just dig wells. We contend for people. We stand with them in prayer, in faith, and love. And we get to watch as Heaven responds.
But we're not done yet.
There are still moms waiting. Still, children drinking from polluted streams. Still, villages have been told, "You'll never have water."
But Heaven hasn't stopped moving. And neither will we.
There are still prayers being prayed. Still children waiting. Still mothers hoping that today will be the day clean water comes to their village.
     Will you
give again? Will you help rewrite the story? Your "yes" today has the power to break the cycle of sickness, despair, and hopelessness for another family.
Each gift becomes part of a miracle—a stream in the desert, a wellspring of life that declares God has not forgotten you.
     As you
sow today, we are praying over you. Praying that the same Miracle Worker who brings water from dry ground will move in every dry place of your own life. That living water would rise up inside of you—bringing healing where there's been pain, peace where there's been anxiety, and provision where there's been lack. That you would taste and see His goodness, even in the waiting.
Jesus sees you. He knows your heart, your sacrifice, your prayers. And He is faithful to complete what He begins.
We are deeply grateful for your continued obedience, generosity, and trust. Together, we are watching entire communities encounter the goodness of God—because you said yes.
