Intro: I've been carrying this word about "convergence" for a few months now, attempting to put language around what I'm seeing and sensing.
Convergence: "the occurrence of two or more things coming together" (The Free Dictionary).
We are living at a pivotal moment in history where many different strands and events are converging into a monumental shift in the nations and in the church.
2025 is also the middle year of this hugely significant decade. It is a "fulcrum" year. As the year progresses, I believe we can expect to see acceleration and greater frequency of major changes globally but also personally.
I pray that you experience a fresh sense of God's presence and provision in these important days.
We Are in a Time of Convergence
After a long and challenging season, where things have felt all over the place, God is bringing together an alignment of the right people in the right places, stepping into new assignments; a divine synchronization in the fulfillment of prophetic words, dreams, and promises; and a threshold moment where completed chapters end and new stories are birthed—where unfinished business is finally closed and a new era begins.
You are stepping into a kairos window of opportunity, where your long season of preparation meets God's perfect timing. Disconnected pieces will come together, and you will start to perceive a clear and complete picture.
The Fresh Growth of Springtime
Seeds faithfully sown over many years will begin to bring forth an abundant harvest. Seasons will shift, and you will emerge from a cold, barren winter into the warmth and fresh growth of springtime. Your confidence will come back and your joy will return. (Photo via Unsplash)
Dreams Coming to Fruition
This time will be an intersection between where you have been and where you're now going. You will join the dots of your history and start to perceive your destiny. You are going to realize that, in the isolation, God was growing something inside you—something that had to be protected from the crowds. The dreams that have been burning in your heart for years will begin to come to fruition. The weariness and wounds of the last season are going to make way for a fresh impartation of vision and hope.
Streams Flowing as One River
This is a pivotal time when various streams in the body will begin to flow together as one river. God is going to begin to supernaturally connect diverse people for his glorious kingdom purposes. Different generations will be mobilized as one by their common passion for Jesus and reaching a lost world.
Sifting and Driving Out the Money Changers
It will be a time where the chaff will be sifted and only the true wheat will remain. A return to reverence will drive out the money changers from the temple and restore a house of prayer. There will be an overlapping of prophetic Scriptures and global events.
Visible Manifestation of God's Word
It will be a time where what you read in God's Word and what you see in the world will align. Angelic activity in the spiritual realm will clearly manifest in the visible realm. The justice and righteousness of heaven will begin to reset the evil and injustice around us.
Time to Cross Over, Take Hold, and Build
We will see dramatic, divinely orchestrated changes in the nations play out before our eyes.
These are days of convergence, of merging and emergence—a time to cross over, take hold, and build. It will be a time of acceleration into the promise after a long wilderness of wandering. You will transition from delay to departure to destination. (Photo via Pexels)
Stepping Into What Will Be
God is threading the disparate strands together. He is bringing to completion that which He has started. It will be the culmination what has been and a "stepping into" what will be.
"...he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6 NIV)
"He is before all things, and in him all things hold together." (Colossians 1:17 NIV)
"He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents..." (Malachi 4:6 NIV)
"Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; love and faithfulness go before you." (Psalm 89:14 NIV)
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." (Revelation 22:13 NIV)
