Dear ElijahStreams Viewers,
In a small Ugandan village, where dust clings to bare feet and clean water has been an unreachable dream, something extraordinary happened.
As we arrived, preparing to see the newly installed
water well, the Holy Spirit whispered to my heart:
There's an elderly person you are to meet.

At that moment, I had no idea who it was or why it mattered. But as we walked further into the village, we saw him—an elderly man sitting under a tree, watching us with a puzzled look on his face.
A stranger from America in his compound? What was this about?
We greeted him, then asked if he'd like to show us the well. He agreed, and we walked a little distance together. And that's when everything unfolded.
More Than a Well—A Window
into Heaven
80-year-old Kamen Zevereyo—widower, father, grandfather—had never known the simple refreshment of a cool, clean cup of water. Imagine that—eighty years without the privilege of fresh, safe water.
As we arrived at the well, he pumped the handle, watching in wonder as clear water rushed out. He was thrilled! His village had never had clean water before. But as we talked, I realized there was a deeper thirst in him that this well couldn't quench.
His wife had been a Believer, a woman of strong faith who had gone ahead of him to Heaven. His children were Believers too. But Kamen?
"I don't have a religion," he told me. "What's the point? I can't get to a church."
Oh, but salvation isn't about
getting to a church—it's about
coming to Jesus.

As I shared about Heaven, I suddenly was reminded of so many things Kat Kerr has shared on
ElijahStreams—about eternity, the unseen, the joy waiting for those who say "yes" to Jesus. It all became
alive with every word I spoke.
Tears welled up in my eyes. My heart pounded out of my chest.
I knew Heaven was watching in anticipation.
I could almost feel his wife leaning in, waiting for his answer. And the thought of Kamen missing out on spending eternity with her—most of all, missing out on knowing Jesus, knowing true love—was too much to bear. I knew his LOVE story wasn't over, it was just about to begin.

So, I painted the picture of the unseen, the love of Jesus, the hope of forever.
And suddenly, without hesitation, he interrupted.
"I would like to receive Jesus."
At 80 years old, after a lifetime without Jesus, Kamen was born again—right there at the water well.
A Celebration in His Home and in Heaven
As we walked back to his compound, Kamen turned to his daughters with a huge smile and said, "Can you imagine? I just got born again!"
A celebration broke out. His daughters rejoiced. And I have no doubt that Heaven was celebrating too—because Scripture says the angels rejoice over just
one soul that repents (Luke 15:7).

The Ripple Effect of Living Water
Six months later, our team returned to that village. Kamen? He's a different man.
His family says from that very day, he quit drinking alcohol—trading in his old habits for tea, soda, and, of course, the clean water from the well that changed his life. He wants to go to church now, but the walk is too far. So, we're working on getting him an audio Bible.
He's thriving. Digging in his farm. Smiling. Asking about "the white lady" who visited him. His joy is contagious.
And just like that woman at the well in John 4, Kamen's story doesn't stop with him. His testimony is a ripple effect—his family, his village, his people are witnessing the love of Jesus through a simple well of clean water.
People Are Still Dying—Physically and Spiritually
This is why we do what we do.

People are still dying from drinking dirty water. But even more tragic, people are dying every day without knowing the true
Living Water—Jesus Christ.
But God is on the move. Through this outreach, we are
funding the drilling of 25 water wells every single month, bringing clean water to those who have never had it before. But even more than that, we are bringing
eternal hope.
A word given to Steve 37 years ago - Well Ministries - is now alive and active. God is inviting us all into this incredible moment in time.
Be Part of the Next Miracle

This is what your giving does. It's not just about digging wells. It's about
bringing Heaven to earth—one soul, one cup of water at a time.
Kamen's story isn't the last. There are so many others just like him—waiting for their moment at the well.
Would you
help us dig another? Would you be a part of the next miracle?
Because when we give water, we give
life. And God is using every single drop.
