"Christian Missionary Freed from North Korean Jail Kept His Faith through Months of Torture – "God was unchanged . . . He watched over me""

World Net Daily reports on a missionary, framed for spying and jailed in North Korea, but whose freedom was recently bought by Voice of the Martyrs, an organization that helps persecuted Christians worldwide. The Chinese-Korean man is known as "Lee," for protection of his identity since his life is still being threatened.

Lee talked about his experience in the North Korean prison. "Between March 5 and 19, I was interrogated daily. Because of the beatings, I began to have severe pains in my liver and kidney. My whole body shook uncontrollably. When I tried to stand, I collapsed on the floor. They took all my money and hired two guards who were also experts in judo."

According to the article, the N.K. authorities, believing Lee to be near death, transferred him to another location with plenty of food to keep him alive. However, after Lee recovered, they brought him back to the interrogation center where he was again beaten and tortured for 54 more days.

Said Lee, "During this time, I would think of Joseph who was also in prison and Daniel in the lion's den. God was unchanged – and as He was with those before me, He would watch over me. I kept my faith. My No. 1 crime against the People's Republic of Korea is that for the past eight years I have been spreading the gospel in N.K., bringing people to Christ."

"A SEASON OF MIRACLE HAIR GROWTH!"

I have heard when you get your hair cut it, gets rid of the dead ends of your hair. It causes your hair to grow healthy again. When your hair is shaven,
the "dead ends" are definitely all gone! You only have new beginnings!

I saw Jesus anointing many heads that were bowed down with sin and shame with fresh oil. Angels were pouring "Miracle Gro" upon these fallen ones. These men and women who had fallen into sin knew that only by some great miracle could they be lifted up to bring honor to ever be used again. Many were crying out to God one last time, "Remember me!" I saw angels being released to these repented ones proclaiming, "We've got your miracle! He's the glory and the lifter up of your head!"


"WHAT DO YOU MEAN PETER FELL?"

The Lord then reminded me of a boat ride that I took on the Sea of Galilee. I was in awe of the presence of the Lord on those waters. I thought to myself, "This is the sea where so many miracles took place." We were about half way across the sea. I was curious. I asked the Lord, "Are we near the place where you called Peter out of the boat and he walked on the water before he fell?" The Lord answered me, "What do you mean Peter fell? This is the sea where Peter walked!" As though He didn't understand my question.

Like he didn't know of the word "failure" in Peter's life! Again, His voice
echoed across the waters, "This is the sea where Peter walked!" God
doesn't know of the word failure in your life either. If you have confessed
your sin and mistakes and asked forgiveness and repented, those sins are gone, gone, gone in the first split second! I used to think they were
somewhere in the bottom of the sea of forgetfulness, but I had a knowing on that sea of Galilee that they were not even down there, "The fish ate
them!"

Perhaps you've heard the story of a man who walked past a monastery every day to go to work. Every day he felt so sinful as he passed by this holy place where monks appeared to live such holy, godly lives. One morning he finally found a monk who had stepped outside the gate of that holy place. As his heart beat with awe of the holy monk, he got up the nerve to ask the secret of their holy lives behind those walls. The monk humbly uttered their secret of the ages, "We fall down and we get up!" The man was set free by those words. "A just (holy) man falls down seven times and gets back up again!" Proverbs 24:16

picture on the front of a Wheaties box. That's how they get there!
