Shout to God with Cries of Joy!
At the end of 2024, I was waiting on the Lord regarding how to pray as we entered into 2025, and I was led to Psalm 47:
"Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. For the Lord Most High is awesome, the great King over all the earth. He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet. He chose our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom He loved. God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets. Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth; sing to Him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne. The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted." (Psalms 47:1–9)
We are to enter this year with shouts of joy and the blowing of trumpets. This will set the tone for the year. As we lift Him up, we will witness God ascending "amid our shouts of joy"! His reign will be seen over adverse circumstances in your life and in nations. As He ascends, His people are ascending with Him to be lifted above the circumstances that have weighed them down. God is lifting you above all that has left you bent over so that you co-reign with Him. There is a lifting up of your head and hands as you ascend with Him.
He is not only the Great King over all the earth, but He is the Great King over all that pertains to you and all who belong to you. I saw praise coming not just from church congregations but from homes and places of business, from people walking around their neighborhoods and cities, from cars stuck in traffic, and even from prison cells.
Scarlet Cords
As I heard these sounds of praise and shouts of joy, I saw a scarlet cord fall from windows of men and women's souls. It was like the scarlet cord that Rahab hung out of the window of her home in Jericho that spared and saved ALL of her family. Your praise will become a scarlet cord that spares and saves many who would have been lost, as God's reign is about to cause many historic and fortified walls to come tumbling down.
I believe that as God's people praise and shout for joy, and blow the trumpets, we will see things happen that we believed could never happen. We will see Jericho's walls fall and God's promised inheritances given to His people. (Photo via Pixabay)
Remember, Rahab had not been living a godly life. She was a prostitute. Now we do not know if this was by her own choice or due to being forced into this trade by a tyrannical system, or through her own desperation. Whatever the case, she recognized the spies that came into her city as those who were to be respected and also feared. Her choice to hide them and to protect them brought salvation to her entire family—to all who belonged to her.
I see walls coming down in 2025. Fortified walls! These will be natural and spiritual walls. Demons have built strongholds and demonic structures that have bound the minds and souls of men, women, and children, and we will see many of these walls come down. God will ascend as we release shouts of joy, and as He ascends, walls will come tumbling down. And as we praise, scarlet cords will come down, saving entire households.
In my spirit I saw people prophetically (in faith) putting scarlet cords upon their homes as a sign of protection and salvation for their families. They were marking their homes as a place of salvation and their families as "safe" during the shaking of shifts happening as demonic structures and walls were falling. I particularly saw women lowering these scarlet cords (but it was not limited to women).
In 2025 we will continue to see the humility and courage of women, which will spare households and even nations. God is raising up those like Rahab, like Esther, like Deborah, and like Mary. They will be the catalysts of freedom and salvation. They will be the ones who carry the faith to do the most courageous acts that bring the shifts needed for many! An honoring of His daughters will come forth in ways unthinkable. Watch as women whose faces have been covered and who have been enslaved due to their gender courageously set people free as they hear and obey the Lord.
I especially saw the scarlet cords of Rahab being lowered for God's people within nations that have had historic oppression and have been ruled over by tyrants. Shifts in governments and God's reign over tyranny will cause walls to fall, but those with the scarlet cords of salvation will be saved. His scarlet blood that flowed from His veins is hung upon the lives of His people.
Increase in Authority
Psalm 47 also speaks of "the nobles of the nations assembling..." Here is that verse: "The nobles of the nations assemble as the people of the God of Abraham, for the kings of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted" (Psalms 47:9).
His people are the nobles of the nations, the people of the God of Abraham. We are the kings of the earth and we belong to God. The authority that we carry as co-heirs with Christ is higher than any earthly authority or tyrant.
In 2025 we will see a greater authority than we have ever seen before coming forth from God's people. But we must only decree what HE is decreeing, and we must not move according to our timing or wisdom but by His Spirit! We will KNOW THAT HE IS GOD! The earth will know that the God of Abraham is God! He will call for trumpets (shofars) to be blown—not haphazardly but at the moment of breakthrough and in His timing. (Photo via Unsplash)
He has raised up men and women who have an anointing and who carry authority to release the trumpet sound. Do not hinder them, but recognize their authority and anointing. Yet remember, not everyone has been called to this duty, and therefore we must gently help those who are just sounding trumpets for their own benefit or for attention. Help them to understand the hour that we are in and the need to release a true sound from Heaven, and not just noise that distracts or attracts selfish attention. We need a clear sound that aligns with the trumpeting angels.
The authority of the saints will begin to release to God's people their rightful inheritances. They will be shaken out of the hands of evil men and evil structures to be given to the righteous. But we must remain walking in the fear of the Lord and submitting to Him in all that we do and all that we are entrusted with. Arrogance, greed, pride, the robbery of His praise will be dealt with swiftly and severely. Unity, humility, integrity, honesty, respect, honor, and giving God the highest praise will be the keys to being entrusted with more and more from His hand.
We will see God as He is—seated upon His holy throne, reigning over nations, and assembling the nobles of nations. We will see entire families saved. We will see fortified walls that have enslaved many fall. We will shout for joy and sound the trumpets as God ascends amid the sounds of praise.
