A Downpour of Blessings and Gifts
"Consider now from this day forward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, from the day that the foundation of the LORD's temple was laid—consider it: Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you." (Haggai 2:18–19)
The ninth month on the Jewish calendar is Kislev. In 2024, the 24th day of the ninth month will fall on December 25th, on Christmas Day—the day for the giving of gifts. I believe this is a sign to us that God is about to release a downpour of abundant blessings and gifts upon His people!
The Jewish people believe that the month of Kislev represents a month of great hope and miracles. It is a month in which Hanukkah falls, representing the never-ending supply of oil we find in Christ—the Light of the world.
The ninth month also represents a time of giving birth. Many have come to their time of birthing and believe they don't have the strength to continue. Some are weary and are tempted to give up and give in. They are believing as the people of Israel did in Isaiah 37:3: "... This day is a day of trouble and rebuke and blasphemy; for the children have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth."
The Lord is now saying to His people, "Strength shall be supplied!" I recently saw a video reel of a mother giving birth in a car. It happened very suddenly as her husband was driving her to the hospital. She suddenly started to scream that her water broke and that the baby was coming. Within a few minutes, she delivered a big healthy baby on camera, while sitting in the car. I see this as a sign for the month of December and for the times.

The Body of Christ is about to give birth suddenly, maybe violently for some. We are entering a period of the sudden birthing of the will of God for our lives. Travail may suddenly come upon you, and your destiny shall be delivered.
Changing of the Guard
I heard the Lord say, "This is the time of the changing of the guard." I then heard the word "contingent." Contingent is "a group of soldiers that joins a larger force" in operation (see Vocabulary.com). It is a group of soldiers who come from a particular army, who come to work together with soldiers from other armies.
The Lord says, "There is now a changing of the guard taking place both in the spirit and in the natural. A 'Nazarite Guard' is being released to replace an old guard that has chosen its own will and its own way. A Samuel army that moves according to My heart and My mind has been made ready! A new contingent of angelic troops is being sent to work with this guard to take My people into the new season of promises fulfilled."
I heard the Lord say, "I am sending reinforcements to shore up the guard!"
The word "reinforce" means "to reinforce or strengthen (a military force) with additional personnel or equipment" and "to strengthen by adding extra support or material" (see Wordnik). The expression "shore up" means "to reinforce or strengthen (something at risk of failure)" and "support by placing against something solid or rigid" (see Wordnik).
An angelic contingent is coming as reinforcements needed for the warfare ahead. They will bring the needed strength to shore up and keep the army of God on track to accomplish the will of God in victory.
"Build My House"
This is the hour where God is calling His people to rise up and build His house according to the blueprint of His heart's desire. We are in a Zechariah 4 moment, where God declared that double grace would be released for the bringing forth of the headstone (or capstone), representing the completing work on the house of God. It also corresponds with the generation rising up in this hour to complete and finish the work. Challenges may come to hinder this work, but the angelic contingent is sent to also be a bulwark, that we may withstand the demonic assaults. A bulwark is a defensive wall! Help is arriving!
The ox anointing (enablement of the Holy Spirit, see Psalm 92:10) is now coming on the obedient front-line servants of God. This anointing will spill over and affect the Body of Christ and give it strength to stand in God's glory and have courage in this notable hour. The angelic contingent is coming to shift the Body from a defensive stance into an offensive stance. The enemy will be confused and on the run. "Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hooves bronze; you shall beat in pieces many peoples; I will consecrate their gain to the LORD, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth." (Micah 4:13)
"Now gather yourself in troops, O daughter of troops; He has laid siege against us; they will strike the judge of Israel with a rod on the cheek." (Micah 5:1)
The King of Glory Shall Come In!
The year 2024 has been prophetically proclaimed by many voices to be the year depicted by Psalm 24. This Psalm begins with a declaration of God's sovereignty over the earth and over mankind. David, the psalmist, then asks a pointed and important question: "Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of His salvation" (Psalm 24:3–5).
Psalm 24 reveals that it is the purified heart that stands in the presence of God. It then addresses the generation who seeks Him, who seeks His face. I believe we are that last-day generation! This Psalm begins to close with a command to the ancient gates and doors to be lifted up, that the King of glory may come in!
"Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in." (Psalm 24:7)
Jesus will return, but before He returns He will be showing up in our homes, in our churches, in our workplaces, in our communities, in our nations, and in places where we least expect Him.
"Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle." (Psalm 24:8)
The King is coming to fulfill His promises. Suddenlies are about to break out, beginning in this month of December!
