Following the wave of red across our country, I heard within my spirit the Holy Trinity release marching orders for this hour: "The enemy is stunned. It's time to take captive the captives so that they may be captivated by the One who has overcome evil.
"They [powers and principalities, rulers of darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness] are so fixed upon maintaining evil that they won't be able to withstand the force of love."
Will You Love Those Who Have Been Held Captive?
Love is personal. Love is intimate. Love is for one and for many. Will you love those who have been held captive? I see an army of Christian soldiers arising, stepping into formation. Not defensively, but armed with love. The enemy's camp is stunned, they are wounded, they are castrated of their power, and it is time to capture those who have been held captive and in bondage to lies.
I see brothers and sisters in Christ marching in unison with love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, and with goodness, being faithful to the call of God to bring the light to those who are bound by darkness. It takes an army to reach the multitudes who are lost. It takes militia to rescue the one who is trapped in the rubble of despair. Will you love them enough to be a part of the rescue mission that is here?
There's a mighty movement in the earth that is marked with the tenacity of love mounting forth from the soldiers of God—everyday people who will not stand in complacency any longer, who will not allow others' "truth" to be accepted as truth, and who will be awakened to the reality of those who are spiritually dying all around them. We walk amidst a battlefield; it's time for us to walk as the victorious people that we are in Christ, seeing the dying and the wounded and bringing them into freedom and into abundant life.
There is a sweeping movement that God is calling forth across His world, empowering and ordering the people of God who carry mercy upon their lips and ministry in their hands. A movement among God's people "to proclaim good news to the poor," "to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners" (Isaiah 61:1, NIV); and to declare that indeed it is the time where the Lord's salvation and favor will abound greatly!
Will You Demonstrate His Love?
Days later, I heard Jesus tenderly and adamantly say, "Will you bless those who curse you? Will you stand in the midst of their mocking and have open arms to receive them into My love? They are captive, bound, discouraged, unsettled, confused, and darkened in their understanding.
"Yet, light has come! Righteousness is dawning. Many will grow darker—yes—but the harvest is glistening, ripe, and waiting. My people who are still captive are now unlocked in their cells in this hour, yet they don't know how to get out. They don't know where to go. They can't comprehend freedom.
"Will you introduce them to Me in love?
"I've made a parade, a spectacle, of captives from darkness before. My command goes forth to do it again. There's trumpeting... do you hear it? I've triumphed over darkness! Do you not remember? Release the captives from the evil that I have taken captive.
"Don't get wrapped up by evil. Evade those held captive by it with love. Opinions never saved anyone, but a demonstration of love has. My love through you saves."
Will You March Forth in Love?
I next heard the Father resound the message from the throne of Heaven as it burst forth into the atmosphere of my spiritual hearing: "My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are My ways your ways (Isaiah 55:8). Don't get trapped in defensiveness; embrace and capture in love those who are lost. (Photo via Pixabay)
"There is a grace period now. What are you going to do with it? Undeserved favor is mounting; it is peaking; it is exuding in this season for the lost.
"Captivate them with My love. Capture them with My presence. Win them [over] into everlasting through My victorious Son. Move! March! Go!"
Verses to Meditate Upon
2 Timothy 2:23–26 (NLT): "Again I say, don't get involved in foolish, ignorant arguments that only start fights. A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people's hearts, and they will learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil's trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants."
Colossians 2:15 (AMP): "When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities [those supernatural forces of evil operating against us], He made a public example of them [exhibiting them as captives in His triumphal procession], having triumphed over them through the Cross."
Ephesians 4:7–8 (AMP): "Yet grace [God's undeserved favor] was given to each one of us [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ's [rich and abundant] gift. Therefore it says, 'WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE LED CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE, AND HE BESTOWED GIFTS ON MEN.'"
