 Certain people influence others in ways that cannot
be replicated by any who follow. They are the first to be remembered and first to
be missed. Such a person was Streams Ministries' Managing
Editor and Creative Director Carolyn Blunk, who peacefully passed away in her sleep
May 30 at her home in Wilmot, New Hampshire . . .
Her touch and influence have left an indelible
imprint on Streams Publishing House. But what most impressed the people who loved
her was her extraordinary ability to see, love, and encourage others into being
all God wanted them to be. Earth misses her, but Heaven is more complete with
her there.
"Publish His glorious deeds among the nations.
Tell everyone about the things He does."

Services
planned
in loving memory of Carolyn L. Blunk 1954-2005
The Blunk family will hold a Celebration of Homegoing
at the First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia, on Thursday, June 30, at 7:00
p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation be made to Gideons International,
P.O. Box 394, Arlington, TX, 76004. All are welcome to join the family in sharing
memories and rejoicing over Carolyn's life.
Streams Ministries will honor Carolyn at a special
service held at the Streams Ministries office at 231 Shaker Street, North Sutton,
NH 03260 on Sunday, June 19, from 6-7 p.m. All are welcome to bring a written note,
letter, or pictorial memory of Carolyn that will be inserted in a personal memory
book and given to Carolyn's family.

2:12 "And being warned of God in a dream that they [the wise
men] should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another
way." (KJV, Emphasis mine)
I sense there are many of God's people right now who are seemingly backed into a
corner by the enemy.
You have tried every conceivable way
you thought the Lord was speaking to you to move forward in your God-given destiny,
but door after door has seemingly shut in your face and your very life appears to
be at stake. There seems to be no way out for you and the enemy has given hellish
orders for you to report back to him. The bottom line is . . . "the devil wants
you back"!
ONE GREAT GENERAL ONCE SAID: "WE ARE
NOT RETREATING, WE ARE ADVANCING IN 'ANOTHER' DIRECTION!"
It seems that the maneuver of this great general for his army at first may have
appeared as though they were retreating, but they weren't! Perhaps the fact that
it appeared like they were retreating, even in the eyes of their enemies, may have
been the very edge they needed for advancing in another direction, and ultimately
winning the battle.
It may appear at times like we are
going backwards, but with God it is often the back door that opens up into the front
yard of our promised land!
GOD HAS SOMETHING UP HIS SLEEVE THIS
HOUR . . . "ANOTHER" WAY OUT FOR YOU THAT IS FOOL PROOF!
Yes, I saw God having something up His sleeve for many this hour in their dilemma.
It's another way out for you that hasn't been revealed to you yet, but it
is there.
You can't see it and neither can the
devil!
I sense it will not be your
way, nor even the way you thought that God was showing you to go, but another
way out for you that is fool proof! I sense He has hidden it from you so that you
wouldn't mess it up. But it is there . . . right up His sleeve!
HIS RIGHT ARM HAS ALREADY GOTTEN YOU
THE VICTORY!
God already has a way for you to not just escape from the enemy's schemes but to
advance "full throttle" into His kingdom!
Jeremiah 31:11 "For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob and ransomed
him from the hand of him that was stronger than he." (KJV, Emphasis mine)
Psalm 98:1 "O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done
marvelous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory!"
(KJV)
It is interesting that, "being warned of God in a dream," the wise men departed
into their own country "another way." While they were in a resting position,
and even sleeping, God revealed His route of safety for them.
Sometimes when I am overwhelmed with
a problem, I have found the most spiritual thing I can do is to go take a nap! Rest
often brings me revelation . . . and sometimes a dream!
THE LIFE-THREATENING STORM AT SEA:
WHAT MADE THE DISCIPLES AFRAID PUT JESUS TO SLEEP!
And when they awoke Jesus, He rose with great power and authority to just speak
to the storm!
I believe Jesus was resting in His
Father's great love for Him and He fell asleep in it! He knew also the Father's
words spoken to Him and His disciples before the storm: "We are going over to the
other side!" There was sweet rest in those words.
Someone said, "Don't tell God how big your storm is . . . tell your storm how big
God is!" And rest in your Father's great love for you!
"Seriously . . . maybe you need to go take a nap!"
