Dear ElijahStreams Family,
     I can't believe it's August already! These past few months, I've been so grateful to have some powerful prophets and patriots on the show: Robin Bullock, Kat Kerr, Johnny Enlow, Amanda Grace, Tim Sheets, Andrew Whalen, Bobby Conner, Dr. Jan Halper-Hayes, Barry Wunsch, Yvon Attia, Roger Stone, and more.

Like you, I am grateful for each of them. They deliver the Lord's Word daily and provide insight into God's heart. And, let's be honest, we're living in some of the most volatile and rapidly changing times.
BUT...God is on the move! Specifically here in the United States, so let's not stop praying and BELIEVING. I'm reminded of this verse:
Hebrews 4:2 (NKJV) "For indeed the Gospel was
preached to us as well as to them; but the word
which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed
with faith in those who heard it."
Let's continue to "mix" the words of LIFE found in the Scriptures and spoken by the prophets together with our FAITH. There is a reward when we do that!
Speaking of the Gospel. Revival moments are breaking out in Uganda. How, you might ask? The good news of Jesus is shared at every water well we provide in Uganda and HE is moving in waves in Uganda right now. I know God used us all as a catalyst to ignite this spark ALL BECAUSE WE ALL SAID YES TO HIM. We said "YES" to
bringing clean water...LIVING WATER to some of those in the most desperate need.
The Show Mercy team shared with me that this community has struggled with a lack of water for over 10 years. They thought they were forgotten. That is until YOU said yes. Your "yes" and generous gifts helped to bring clean, LIVING water to this village, and NOW people are giving their lives to JESUS!
I know you'll be encouraged by this update from our partner ministry in Uganda.
Bella, from Show Mercy, shared with us this testimony:
85 people received Jesus this week. Praise the Lord. 64 of the salvations were at a water well commissioning.
The new water well is the beginning of a transformation in the village. This village which is located outside of Kakiri, got its nickname—"problems or cursed"—from all the troubles its residents experience. Most of the problems—underage pregnancies, single mothers, and a large number of children who do not attend school at all, even on weekdays, and drunkenness is rampant.

As our team spread out and walked through the village near the newly installed ElijahStreams water well, people kept lining up to receive Jesus. I believe the Holy Spirit just drew them closer.

They were literally running to accept Jesus. Unbelievable to see. Before you even speak to them, they would come running to the staff. "I want Jesus to save me." Most people couldn't hold back their tears. I've never seen this before. It was beautiful!
This particular move of God started with a "woman at the well" outside of Kakiri village.
The "woman at the well" is named Generous. She struggled with alcoholism, depression and lack of purpose.
She fell the night before while at work; she landed violently on the ground and hit her face. The pain was so severe, she wondered if she'd make it through the night. She was bruised up when we met. When she spotted our team, she just knelt and raised her hands in surrender, begging to receive Jesus. She said, "please don't ask me any questions. I just need to receive Jesus in my life." And it was the beginning of a shift for her entire future.
When people saw her, they joined in, and the number grew from one to many. The entire village and its people surely needed Jesus. It was evident they were hungering for the love of the Lord. They yearned for change. Together as a team, we touched the ground and prophesied over the land declaring fruitfulness, prosperity, good things, joy and growth because the Lord is now in their place. Thank you ElijahStreams for caring enough about these forgotten people to give. You've made a way for them when there seemed to be NO WAY AND over 60 people in a matter of minutes accepted Jesus as their LORD AND SAVIOR! |
I sometimes wonder if you get tired of me sharing day after day about providing clean water. But then I hear testimonies like this, and I know God is breathing on this work. And we CANNOT STOP! Lives depend on it. We can't be complacent. We are committed, and with
your support, we will continue to make a difference.
