"Raising 'One Million Hours of Praise' for Our God - One Woman's Vision is Becoming
a Reality"
June

Those
who visit the "Million Hours of Praise" website (www.millionhoursofpraise.com)
have a special treat . . . the opportunity to hear Catherine tell you herself, about
the vision God has given her for the Million Hours of Praise mission. With a Scottish
lilt and great passion in her voice she describes the possibilities present in the
constant praise of the Lord. "God has given me a vision to mobilize the church and
the nations of the earth to worship Jesus for one million hours," she explains.
"We want to believe there will be a symphony of praise that will resonate throughout
the earth, in every nation, across every continent -- that every tribe and creed
and color would come and worship Jesus . . . "

"Effective Intercession
for the Descendants of Abraham"
Welcome to the VisionCast
for the Prayer Storm

1)
Dream of Three Ancient Wells
Some time ago I was given a vivid dream in which I saw three ancient wells. A woman
came and stood beside each well. I heard the words, "Women are Wells." As I was
awakened, I realized that this dream was about the life of Abraham. So I then searched
the scriptures and found that Abraham fathered children with three women: Hagar,
Sarah, and Keturah.
The Jews are not the only offspring that Abraham produced. In fact there are three
different ethnic, generational lines that together comprise Abraham's descendants.
To pray effectively for the Middle East, we must look at the prophetic promises
spoken for all the descendants of Abraham. Always remember though,
"We do not wrestle against flesh and blood."
The Arabs, the Persians, nor the Jews are the enemy! Our enemy is the powers of
darkness that hold people captive. So with this in mind, let's expand our horizons
and receive God's heart for all the Middle East.
Let's look at the descendants of Abraham in the order in which they were birthed.
2) Praying for the Descendants of Hagar
Scripture Promises Concerning Ishmael
"'And as
for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will make him fruitful, and will multiply
him exceedingly. He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him
a great nation.' . . . And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised
in the flesh of his foreskin." Genesis 17:20, 25 NASB
"But God said to Abraham, 'Do not be distressed because of
the lad and your maid; whatever Sarah tells you, listen to her, for through Isaac
your descendants shall be named. And of the son of the maid I will make a nation
also, because he is your descendant.' So Abraham rose early in the morning, and
took bread and a skin of water, and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulder,
and gave her the boy, and sent her away. And she departed, and wandered about in
the wilderness of Beersheba." Genesis 21:12-14 NASB
"And God heard the lad crying; and the angel of God called
to Hagar from Heaven, and said to her, 'What is the matter with you, Hagar? Do not
fear, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad
and hold him by the hand; for I will make a great nation of him.'" Genesis
21:17, 18 NASB
A Visionary Encounter -- Ishmael Crying
in the Desert
While seeking the Lord in one of our Israel Prayer watches, I was captured by hearing
a voice of a young lad crying. I began to turn my attention more attentively towards
the sound. As I did, a vision unfolded where I saw a desert where a young lad was
crying. A mother came and hovered over him as he was sobbing.
As I continued looking in the Spirit, Genesis 17 and 21 became enlightened within
my being. While meditating on this, the voice of the Holy Spirit said to me, "Remember,
Ishmael also came from Abraham's seed."
Once again, the Holy Spirit convicted me suddenly and deeply. I began to cry out
for all the seed of Abraham to come into its full destiny. I began to cry out for
the descendants of Ishmael that for generations has been in great conflict with
the descendants of Isaac.
I have declared publicly on many occasions in recent months, "The Islamic veil
shall be pierced. Entire mosques shall be converted into 24/7/365 prayer and worship
centers to the one true God of Yeshua -- Jesus -- the Messiah. Ishmael's cry shall
be heard and a great nation shall come forth. Remember, Ishmael too comes from Abraham's
seed!"
3) Praying for the Descendants of Sarah
Thirteen years after the birth of Ishmael, God appeared to 99-year-old Abram and
said, "I am God Almighty" (Genesis 17:1). This
is the first time in Scripture that God reveals Himself as "God Almighty" or, in
Hebrew, El Shaddai, which means "All-Sufficient One." The Hebrew word shad is always
translated as "breast." In the same way a mother provides all that is sufficient
for her newborn's nourishment, God was about to reveal to Abram that he is all-powerful
and able to satisfy with "blessings of the breasts and
of the womb" (Genesis 49:25). This is also the way God chose to reveal
Himself to Isaac, Jacob, and many others. It is the way that we must see God if
we are to intercede on behalf of the descendants of Sarah.
God reassured Abraham that it was not Ishmael who would fulfill His promise of a
child from his own body though. The Lord stated:
"Sarah your
wife will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac [which means 'he laughs'];
and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants
after him . . . My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to
you at this season next year." Genesis 17:19, 21
Who Are the Descendants of Sarah?
Isaac was the only child that Abraham and Sarah had through their union. He, in
turn, married the beautiful maiden Rebekah (Genesis 24:67).
"Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she
was barren; and the Lord answered him and Rebekah his wife conceived" (Genesis
25:21 NASB). Rebekah brought forth a pair of struggling twin boys named Esau
and Jacob.
As time passed Jacob treacherously stole the blessing of the firstborn son away
from Esau. As the saga unfolded, Jacob had a heavenly encounter and wrestled with
the angel of the Lord throughout the night, Jacob prevailed in this wrestling match,
received a blessing, and his name was changed from Jacob, "the deceiver," to Israel.
Now Israel, like Ishmael, the son of Hagar, became the father of many sons. Twelve
tribes emerge from his lineage (see Genesis 30:1-24; 35:16-18). Israel brought forth
twelve full tribes, and these became the descendants of Sarah who inherited the
covenant promises of God.
One of these twelve sons of Jacob was named Judah, meaning "thanks" or "praise."
The Messiah Himself is known as the Lion from the tribe of Judah (see Revelation
5:5). It is from the name Judah that the term Jew has derived. So when we are
praying for the descendants of Sarah and Abraham, we are calling forth the prophetic
promises spoken over the Jewish people to come into completion.
4) Praying for the Descendants of Keturah
Abraham's wife Sarah lived almost forty years after the birth of Isaac (see Genesis
23:1, 2). Abraham loved Sarah dearly and must have experienced much grief at her
loss. After finding an excellent wife for his son Isaac, Abraham took another wife,
whose name was Keturah (see Genesis 25:2-4). From their union came six sons: Zimran,
Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak and Shuah.
Before Abraham died, he gave gifts to the sons of Keturah and sent them far away
from his son, Isaac, to the land of the east (see Genesis 25:6). One of the sons
of Keturah was Midian, the father of the Midianites. Some of the descendants of
Keturah went to what was called Persia. Others were, apparently, scattered into
Assyria.
Isaiah prophesied about the descendants of Keturah, saying:
"A multitude of camels will cover you [Israel], the young
camels of Midian and Ephah" (Isaiah 60:6). Remember, that Midian was
a son of Keturah, and Ephah as her grandson. In the next part of this verse, Isaiah
mentions yet another grandson of Keturah: Sheba. "All those
from Sheba will come; they will bring gold and frankincense, and will bear good
news of the praises of the Lord."
Where else have you heard of gold and frankincense together? They were two of the
three gifts that the wise men brought to Jesus after His birth (see Matthew 2:1-12).
I cannot confirm that the wise men were descendants of Keturah, but they did come
from the east, where the descendants of Keturah had settled, and they certainly
fit the description of Isaiah's prophecy.
Whether this prophecy was fulfilled literally at the birth of the Messiah or is
a prophecy for the future yet to come, the minimum we can agree on is that there
is prophetic destiny upon the children of Keturah. These people will rise up
as people of wealth and will end up worshipping the one true God. They will bring
forth praise to the Lord!
5) He Will Send a Champion!
All three national families of Abraham have, by and large, failed to recognize the
true Messiah, who is Yeshua, our Lord Jesus Christ. The Jews are still looking for
their Messiah to appear, while the others do not even realize that they need one.
Although most accept Mohammed and Jesus as prophets, they do not believe that a
Messiah is necessary. Still the prophetic Scriptures predict that these descendants
of Abraham will accept the true Messiah at a critical point in time.
I love the language of Isaiah 19:20: "He will send
them a Savior and a Champion." A champion shall come. A messenger of
the new covenant will be sent to turn away ungodliness from Jacob. A great spiritual
revival is on God's agenda, and it will encompass all the descendants of Abraham
throughout the Middle East, from the Nile River to the Euphrates.
God is the supreme multitasker. He can accomplish more than one thing at a time!
Biblical prophecy indicates that alongside God's gathering of the outcasts of Israel
to their homeland, he is setting the stage to do a great work among all the descendants
of Abraham. Surprise us all, O Lord. Let it be so!

Yes, Praying for Israel's Destiny is now out! It is meaty, readable, eye
opening, and yet solid! It took three years to do this book! Be one of the first
to get a copy. The above VisionCast is taken from portions of this new book. Michal
Ann and I will also lead an Israel Prayer Tour October 11-23, 2005. Avner Boskey
will be our Tour Guide.
Michal Ann and I have just completed our co-authored book God Encounters.
This will be a follow up to The Seer. It will be out June 1st with Destiny
Image. This will be followed by a 40-Day Devotional Journal on The Seer this
September! We are looking forward to these tools getting into your hands!
On another front, I have completed the second phase of passive immune therapy and
continue with a comprehensive approach to physical recovery. The growth on my left
collarbone is virtually gone. I had scans done during the last week of May and will
get the results in the second week of June. Michal Ann has two active spots on her
liver and we are seeking alternative routes of treatment. Declare with Michal
Ann and I -- "We are healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ!" Ongoing prayer
and contributions to our Medical Assistance Fund are greatly appreciated.
GraceAnn graduated Summa Cum Laud (highest academic honors) on May 28th from Franklin
Classical School. She has grown wonderfully in the Lord this year and we are quite
proud of her! She will accompany her mother, Justin, and Rachel on the Compassion
Acts Missions Trip to Mozambique this June! Tyler will join the church youth group
on a missions trip to Mexico in June as well. So keep our family in your prayers
as they go to the nations.
In Christ Jesus!
