All of Creation Eagerly Waits
Sons and daughters, you have been through the fire for a specific reason. You are NOW ready for an apocalypse of LOVE! All of creation is also ready to respond to and serve you and your destiny. You will discover the "Romans 8 reality":
"For the eagerly awaiting creation waits for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God." (Romans 8:19 NASB)
"For [even the whole] creation [all nature] waits eagerly for the children of God to be revealed." (Romans 8:19 AMP)
This hopeful expectation that all created and living things possess is concentrated on the sons and daughters of God to manifest the heart of God. God made creation with an ability to groan and eagerly wait for His sons and daughters to be revealed! This emphasis on the sons and daughters of God walking in the fullness of their identity and purpose is the core design and desire of all created things.
An Apocalypse of Sons and Daughters
Before we ask the question "Why is all creation so excited?" let's find out what is so special about these sons and daughters.
God's sons and daughters are the only thing ever to be created in His image and likeness. They are the apple of His eye. What makes these sons and daughters so unique is how much God wants to reveal them to the world. The word reveal in the original language is the word apokalupsis. It is used to describe the revealing of God's sons and daughters, and it is so powerful that it's also used to describe the second coming of Jesus (2 Thessalonians 1:7). This word is where we get the word apocalypse from. Out of all the words that God could have used to describe how His sons and daughters would manifest on this earth, He chose to describe an "apocalypse" similar to the level of Jesus' second coming. That's a massive revealing don't you think?
Partnering with Love
But why is all creation so excited for this apocalypse of God's sons and daughters?
Jesus came to show us what one man or woman can be and do if they are rightfully connected to the Father. All of creation responded to Jesus because He was like no one else before. Water turned solid when He needed to walk on it. The water's molecular structure changed and it turned to wine to serve His prophetic purpose at the wedding of Cana. The fig tree withered at His command. The wind and waves obeyed His voice. Body parts were reconstructed, and even created, at the mention of His name. Oceans clapped their hands. Trees waved their branches. Fish partnered with Him to get His message of salvation to Nineveh, to solidify the disciples' calling, and to pay Peter's taxes. The sun stopped for Joshua. The cloud formed and the fire fell for Elijah. Even the rocks would have cried out to praise Jesus if necessary (Luke 19:40), because He is worthy of this level of praise, and all of creation knows it. What was so different about Jesus that all of creation was so eager and willing to partner with Him?
Jesus is LOVE! Creation was created by LOVE, and therefore only responds positively to genuine and healthy love. Creation was also designed to partner with love. Studies have shown that created things like plants and animals are sensitive to both love and hate, and can give either a negative or positive response based on their encounter with hate or love. Sons and daughters will be known for LOVE. This real, pure, and holy love will cause the same kind of response in created order that Jesus received. The greatest power that will reside in these sons and daughters is LOVE.
"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13 NKJV)
"Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and love—yet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run." (1 Corinthians 13:13 TPT)
Sons and daughters are being fashioned to reveal God's faith, hope, and the greatest love we've ever experienced before. All of creation is excited to partner with these sons and daughters for the advancement of the Kingdom on Earth. Creation has eagerly waited to partner with those who will learn to walk in the level of pure and powerful love that Jesus did.
You are called to be these sons and daughters that all of creation has waited for. There will be no creative limitations FOR YOU AND THROUGH YOU, because all of creation will be responding to Jesus' love inside of you. If you need a creative miracle, healing, idea, strategy, sign or wonder to capture the heart of the lost or to bless the life of God's children, YOU WILL HAVE IT! Not only will you be partnering with the Holy Spirit Himself, but you will also be partnering with all of creation, who has eagerly been waiting to be a part of God's great apocalypse of LOVE.
The Great Intercessor
Sons and daughters also use their authority in partnership with the Great Intercessor every day. They are constantly praying bold prayers and declarations that shape the future of their families, friends, regions, and nations. All creation responds to faith-filled prayers from sons and daughters, as mountains bow down and valleys rise to prepare the way for the risen Lord as He comes into every situation.
The Bible states that the accuser of the brethren accuses the saints of God day and night, so it stands to reason that Jesus is covering His people day and night in prayer.
"Jesus, on the other hand, because He continues forever, holds His priesthood permanently. Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. For it was fitting for us to have such a high priest, holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens." (Hebrews 7:24–26)
We are covered in prayer by the Great Intercessor. He knows exactly what to pray in every situation. His prayers hit the mark and they get answered. Part of our access to the throne, as sons and daughters, is that we are invited into Jesus' prayer room sessions. He is fiery and passionate as He makes constant decrees over His people, and we get to join Him and release His love upon society. Joining the Great Intercessor in prayer is not only a privilege, but a mandate.
Three Revelations We Must Receive
Jesus' disciples learned early on that a big part of Jesus' success was due to living a life of prayer and declaration. In Matthew chapter 6, Jesus taught them how to pray. They had observed His relationship with the Father and saw His bold prayers answered before their very eyes.
"This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be [Holy is] Your name, Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.'" (Matthew 6:9–10 NIV, brackets mine) (Photo via Pxfuel)
This invitation into prayer with the Great Intercessor is also a training on how to get Jesus-sized results. In verse 9 there are three powerful revelations that we must receive in order to pray like sons and daughters:
1. Our Father
Sons and daughters walk in the reality that their Father is both present and willing to answer their desires and their royal decrees. When we possess the understanding and revelation that our Father is good and that it is His good pleasure to give us the Kingdom, we pray differently.
"Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, through His flesh, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let's approach God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let's hold firmly to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." (Hebrews 10:19–23 NASB)
2. Heaven
Sons and daughters live with the reality of Heaven. They truly believe that they have access to heavenly resources, and they expect that those resources are not needed in Heaven but are to be released on the earth. Sons and daughters live with the awareness that Heaven is always close and seeking to be made manifest. They seek to discover what is available in Heaven, and they pray for divine opportunities to create a Kingdom atmosphere wherever they go. Sons and daughters don't just pray from Earth to Heaven, but they recognize they are seated with Christ in heavenly places, and pray from Heaven to Earth.
"And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:6 NIV)
3. Holy
The word holy means "sacred," "set apart by (or for) God," and "pure." It's a word that saints and angels in Heaven use to describe God while worshiping Him around His throne.
"I was caught up at once in deep worship and, oh!—a throne set in Heaven with One seated on the throne, suffused in gem hues of amber and flame with a nimbus of emerald. Twenty-four thrones circled the throne, with twenty-four elders seated, white-robed, gold-crowned. Lightning flash and thunder crash pulsed from the throne. Seven fire-blazing torches fronted the throne (these are the Sevenfold Spirit of God). Before the throne it was like a clear crystal sea.
"Prowling around the throne were four animals, all eyes. Eyes to look ahead, eyes to look behind. The first animal like a lion, the second like an ox, the third with a human face, the fourth like an eagle in flight. The four animals were winged, each with six wings. They were all eyes, seeing around and within. And they chanted night and day, never taking a break:
"Holy, holy, holy is God our Master, Sovereign-Strong, THE WAS, THE IS, THE COMING." (Revelation 4:2–8 MSG)
For eternity, every time He moves or reveals a new dimension of Himself, we will say, "Holy!" Sons and daughters carry a reality of awe, wonder, and fascination for Jesus as their "One thing," and their magnificent passion. With these three heavenly realities—Father, Heaven, and holy—operating in their lives, we can declare with a boldness (which is given only by the Spirit of wisdom and revelation), the second part of the prayer that Jesus taught His disciples to pray here in Mathew 6: "Your Kingdom come,
Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven" (v. 10; see also vv. 11–13).
How to Pray God's Will
Paul was also very specific in his discipleship training when he taught that we don't always know what to pray for:
"In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God's people in accordance with the will of God." (Romans 8:26–27 NIV)
We have the Great Intercessor on the inside of us who wants to pray for us through us. This is genius because we get to hear and learn from the resident Intercessor how to pray prayers that are filled with righteousness, joy, and peace in the Holy Ghost. His prayers hit the mark EVERY TIME and get answered.
The verse above gives us insight, through the Great Intercessor, on what a great intercessor does. First, they listen to the groans of the Spirit and partner with Him. They realize that every time they pray in the Spirit, the Spirit is searching the deep things of God and is about to make decrees through them, and they position themselves in readiness.
It is like the Spirit of God is walking through the storehouses of Heaven with a huge shopping cart, pulling things off the shelves that you didn't know you needed. The Spirit searches the mind and heart of God so that we can decree the will of God for every situation. This gives us the ability, in prayer, to go far beyond reactionary prayers and shape the future by decreeing God's will.
Sons and daughters who partner with the "resident Intercessor" have a higher level of intel into the heart and mind of God for every season. They therefore release Heaven on Earth, and are always in alignment with the heart and will of the Father. Sons and daughters know the difference between praying soulish prayers and partnering with the Great Intercessor. They know His Word and are learning to release the Kingdom of God on Earth as it is in Heaven.
You have been fashioned in the FIRE and shaped by the WIND, and now you are ready to be revealed and satisfy the longing of all creation, which has been eagerly waiting to partner with you in this coming apocalypse of LOVE!
