Christa Elisha: "Arise, Mother in Zion! A New Day Is Dawning"

In the night hours of May 7th our area was hit by a tornado warning. As we gathered up our animals to take shelter in the basement, I lifted my hands up to the heavens and I began to decree that the winds would disperse, that any spiritual forces trying to exacerbate the destructive nature of the storm would be bound, and that the threat of disaster would return null and void in Jesus' name. I commanded that there would be no loss of life or loss of property in my region.

After this, we all quickly descended to the basement of our home and continued to pray for the storm to pass. That is when the Lord gave me this word for all the praying mothers who have felt caught in the storms of life.

I pray that this word encourages all the praying mamas and calls you to lift your heads and your eyes up above the clouds and into the heavens where your help comes from. Your King is listening, and so must the storm.

A Word for Praying Mothers Caught in the Storms of Life

Mama, your prayers have authority to subdue the storm that is raging over your house and your city. Mama, because you pray your house will have perfect peace in the midst of every storm, for peace is your portion, and the Prince of Peace will never leave you or forsake you.

Praying Mama, you have not been given a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind in Christ. And when you pray you must not pray in fear, which is doubt and unbelief, but you must pray in Christ's power, Christ's love, and with Christ's mind concerning all things.

Mama, you have been caught up in the demonic swirl, but I say to you that you are called to rise above the winds of chaos and, in the name of Jesus, command every demonic swirl to dissipate and come to nothing!

In the past season, it seemed as if the storms would overwhelm you and drown out your voice, but "In THIS season," says the Lord, "the rain from the storms will only nourish your roots anchored in Me, and baptize your head with a fresh anointing of boldness, wisdom, and clarity. For you have not been ordained to be taken out by the storms of life, beloved. You have been predestined to be fashioned by the storms into an instrument of war to destroy the works of darkness. For when the enemy comes in like a flood, I will raise My standard against him. And that standard is YOUR VOICE standing in MY POWER AND AUTHORITY to push back against his advances. For YOUR VOICE shifts the atmosphere over regions and OPENS THE HEAVENS over homes!

"And, daughter, you shall see a harvest, even a bumper crop of swift answers to long-awaited prayers and petitions. For I have found you faithfully sowing in the secret place, and now is the time for Me to reward in the public place. For My delay in answering your prayers has not been for a lack of desire on My part, but a matter of character preparation on your part. For many of your prayers, [which] have been in union with My own intercession, I have decided to make YOU an answer to in the days ahead.

"So, powerful daughter, do not grow weary in well-doing, for you will reap a harvest in your due season (Galatians 6:9). Prepare to dry your eyes from weeping, for your tears have been sown as seeds and are about to burst forth as a harvest of joy unspeakable and full of glory! For glory is your portion in the days ahead, and not doom and gloom!" says the Lord.

So arise, Debra! Arise, mother in Zion, and sing your song! For a new day is dawning for this mama who prays.
