(Washington, D.C.) As confrontations in the U.S. Senate over President Bush's judicial nominees continued today, Senator Bill Frist took some action by joining the chairman of the High Impact Leadership Coalition, Bishop Harry Jackson, and other black pastors at a justice rally which took place in Russell park, near the Capitol building.

"Enough is enough," Frist said. "The judicial filibusters in the U.S. Senate are a disgrace and these excellent judicial nominees deserve a fair, up-or-down vote." Rally organizer, Bishop Jackson, defended Bush's nominee for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit Janice Rogers Brown.

Dear Faithful Pray-ers:

As you know, I have not traveled internationally since having our international worship gathering in Spain last August and getting a prayer team into the last of the 40/70 Window nations in San Marino. However, now is the time to move beyond the United States, and my prayer focus from here and into other parts of the world. These trips have fully developed and been ordained by the Lord. I would never go to nations without wanting to take you with us. Also, notice that the new book, Restoring the Prophetic Destiny of A Nation, is here. Order now (below)! Time for the Eagles to Fly Again

My trip to Asia, May 5-15, was the first of five international trips I will be taking in these next two months. I led a six-member Eagles of God team to Asia where we first traveled to Japan -- on the northern island of Hokkaido. This is called the "Island of the Spirits." This part of Japan is actually within the 40/70 Window, and was our first journey to the eastern part of this region that we have been focusing on the past five years.

Following Japan, we traveled on to Malaysia and Singapore, where I taught Wagner Leadership Institute courses. Then, at the end of May, I will be taking a four member team to Nigeria to dedicate Apostle Emmanuel Kure's church. This is the largest church in northern Nigeria, a region that is predominately Muslim. For this in-and-out trip we depart on May 25 and arrive home on May 29. On June 12-21, I will be leading a ten-member team to Moscow, Istanbul, Rome, and Jerusalem. This prayer journey has been designed to retrace the degeneration of the Church, and has become very significant with the recent death of the Pope.

At the end of June, I will be traveling to Vancouver, Canada, for the Strategic Keys Breakthrough Conference hosted by Todd Bentley. Then,/ in July, I will be traveling to England for three days of meetings with leaders there on how to affect the government and atmosphere for a move of the Holy Spirit. Dutch Sheets will also be ministering at those meetings.


Removing Any Ceiling Over You!

Since August, instead of traveling, I have been on the wall. I have enjoyed leading prayer on Tuesdays more than anything. Last week in the prayer meeting, the Lord did incredible things. I started off by leading praise, and said we must go higher in leading praise. One of the intercessors then saw a ladder standing over by the wall. She came up and whispered, "Isn't that ladder a picture of what you are doing?"

I would have us exhibit violent praise and then decree that we were moving up into a new place of authority in the heavenlies. When we pray on Tuesday mornings, we make these decrees over all of you just as if you were with us. We set the ladder in the middle of the room and, as we would praise, this intercessor would go up a rung on the ladder. Eventually, she could not get seated at the top of the ladder without removing the ceiling. That is just what we did -- we removed the ceiling! The power of God fell upon all of us.

That is what we are decreeing: ANY CEILING OVER YOU WILL BE REMOVED! A ceiling is the inside top part or covering of a room; the upper limit set on anything; a covering of clouds limiting vertical visibility; the maximum altitude at which an aircraft can fly. I prayed three things for you out of this:

• Mark 2. Remember the friends who tore the ceiling off of the house to get their paralytic friend in before Jesus? I am praying for God to bring those type of friends into your life that will see to it that ceilings are removed so you can accomplish the whole purpose of God for your life. We are one of your friends.
   
• II Corinthians 10. Many times our arguments, theories, reasonings, pride, and philosophies put a ceiling on our thought processes. I am praying that any wrong thinking that has produced a stronghold and formed a ceiling that is stopping transformation in your life will be removed.
   
• Joshua 2. When it was time to enter the Promised Land, Joshua sent in two spies who were helped by a harlot named Rahab who lived in Jericho. This harlot hid them on top of the roof. This was the key to enter into the Promised Land. I am also praying that God puts people in your life who can help you get above the ceiling and on top of the roof so that you move forward into all that God has promised you.

Hokkaido Island, Japan - "The Island of the Spirits"

I took a six-member team to Japan for a strategic prayer gathering on the northern island of Hokkaido. This part of Japan is actually within the 40/70 Window, and is a nation that I have looked forward to visiting during our five year focus on the 40/70 Window. The island houses Japan's agricultural services.

Most of Japan's wildlife originated in sub-tropical Asia, but Hokkaido is different. Many of its animals and plants came from Siberia. The same is probably true of Ainu people. The Ainu are hunter-gatherers who have lived in northern Japan since at least the seventh century. Their looks, language, and traditions are unlike any other culture in Asia.

Hokkaido Island is called the Island of the Spirits -- a stronghold of spiritism in both Japan and the 40/70 Window. However, we went to go there and release a move of the Holy Spirit to overtake Japan. Several weeks ago at church I received this word:

"There Will Be A Shaking Coming to Japan"

"There will be a shaking coming to Japan that will bring them to their knees. This shaking will change the industry of the nation. Japan has been built upon a fault line linked with a deep wounding from the past. This shaking will occur before the apostolic team that I am sending to Japan arrives. When they arrive, I will begin the healing of the fault line and release a new anointing for industries. I am sending you to the people group of that area and they will be humbled in the midst of their pride. Do not fear. I am causing the mountain to be brought down and the valleys to be brought up. I will create a leveling effect in Japan" (from Keith Pierce).

Since that time, there has been a major shift in their stock market. We have seen Japan brought to world headline news because of a major train wreck. Watch this nation carefully.

Just before I arrived in Japan, Cindy Jacobs ministered at a national Shift the Nation conference with intercessors and leaders in Tokyo on May 4-5. Both of these meetings were being coordinated by Ron Sawka, the director of Christian International for Asia. I would ask that you specifically pray for Japan at this time. At the bottom of this email is a request from Ron that will help you focus your prayers.


Malaysia and Singapore

On May 8th we flew from Japan on to Malaysia and Singapore. In each of these nations I joined Dr. Peter Wagner in teaching a "Wagner Leadership Institute Course: Apostles and Prophets -- The Foundation of the Church." Although restricted, the Church in both of these nations is very vibrant and prime for revival.

Prayer Focus for Japan from Ron Sawka

Greetings from Japan! I am writing this to request your continued prayer support and covering for two key meetings that have taken place in this country. On May 4-5, Cindy Jacobs ministered in Tokyo (Lilia Hall, Kawaguchi,) at a large gathering of leaders and intercessors. On May 7th, Chuck Pierce ministered in Sapporo. We feel these are and were two key events for shifting Japan.

God's Purposes for Japan

As many of you know, in October 2001, at the Gideon's Army 2 gathering in Hanover, Germany, Cindy Jacobs prophesied that God was realigning the old Axis nations and Allied nations so that they might pull together to shift those nations.

Personally, I have taken that word very seriously. Perhaps it is because I live and minister in Japan, and have experienced just how difficult it has been to get and sustain momentum. Also, two other key prophecies released in 2000 have really shaped my thinking and strategy these past 4 years:

1. One was by Bill Hamon that declared a great deal would be decided about Japan's future in the period between 2001 and now.

2. The other was by Chuck Pierce. It stated that 2000-2005 was a key window of opportunity, and if the church in Japan did not adequately rise up, the spirit behind Shinto (Queen of Heaven or Amaterasu) would keep getting stronger and begin to persecute the church.

Prayer Points

Perhaps at this point I should answer the obvious question, "What is the condition of Japan at present?" Without going into details, let me just say that while the Church has been rising up, perhaps we must admit that the Shinto spirit has been rising even more quickly. Certainly one evidence of this is that we are quite far behind in seeing the development of apostles in this nation.

It was with this in mind that we called for leaders' summits starting in 2002. At that time, many of you interceded for us, and I am convinced that is why we had a measure of success. Now, I am asking for your help again. Please circulate the dates of the two meetings that occurred and continue to pray with us for their effectiveness.

Perhaps you can keep praying along these lines:

1. That God will continue to use what occurred in these meetings to shift Japan ahead

2. That the right people in attendance will have been affected

3. That God's ordained leadership will arise

4. That harvest will quickly increase
