As you gather, please use this as a guide to pray for Israel.
Cleansing Prayers and Preparation
We bow our hearts to our loving, heavenly Father, the Creator of all things – God of mercy, God of light, God of justice and judgment!
"Who may ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully." (Psalm 24:3-4 NKJV)
And we are humbled, Father, that You invite us to come boldly before the throne of grace in times of need and trouble... We can only ascend up the mountain of the Lord with clean hands and pure hearts – not lifting our souls to vanity or swearing deceitfully.
Therefore, we come with hearts of repentance for every sin committed by us or others – known or unknown sin that grieves Your heart. We ask for forgiveness.
"...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23 NKJV)
We choose forgiveness just as Yeshua chose when He spoke, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing" (see Luke 23:34).
And we know we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places (see Ephesians 6:12).
We decree as King David inquired of the Lord saying shall we pursue after the troop, which the Lord answers: Pursue! [paraphrased]
"So David inquired of the Lord, saying, 'Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?' And He answered him, 'Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.'" (1 Samuel 30:8 NKJV)
"See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are continually before Me." (Isaiah 49:16 NKJV)
Spiritual Warfare Prayers for Israel
1. Protection and Preservation
"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.'" (Psalm 91:1-2 NKJV)
"But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one." (2 Thessalonians 3:3 NKJV)
"The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore." (Psalm 121:7-8 NKJV)
2. Land Protection
"...if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV)
"Yes, the Lord will give what is good; and our land will yield its increase." (Psalm 85:12 NKJV)
"Your threshing shall last till the time of vintage, and the vintage shall last till the time of sowing; you shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely." (Leviticus 26:5 NKJV)
3. Angelic Protection
"For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone." (Psalm 91:11-12 NKJV)
"Behold, I send an angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared." (Exodus 23:20 NKJV)

God's Promise to Israel in the Scriptures
"I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed." (Genesis 12:2-3 NKJV)
"Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine. And you shall be to Me a Kingdom of priests and a holy nation..." (Exodus 19:5-6 NKJV)

Prayers of Blessing and Protection

"May the LORD give you increase more and more, you and your children." (Psalm 115:14 NKJV)
"The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the just." (Proverbs 3:33 NKJV)
Father, I thank You for Your blessings upon Israel. According to Numbers 6:24-26, bless and keep her, make Your face shine upon her, and give her peace. We declare, as in Deuteronomy 28:6, that Israel is blessed coming in and going out.
I pray as in Psalm 128 that Israel is blessed as they fear You and walk in Your ways, with happiness and wellbeing filling their homes and their land. May the children of Israel be like olive plants around Your table. Thank You, Lord, that You supply all of Israel's needs according to Your riches in glory by Yeshua, as stated in Philippians 4:19.
I pray for prosperity, good health, and spiritual growth for the nation of Israel, according to 3 John 1:2. May the Lord give her increase more and more, the land and the people, as declared in Psalm 115:14. We declare Israel is blessed, as she seeks righteousness and justice, aligning with Proverbs 3:33.
And today, just as we have prayed for the nation of Israel, we pray the same over our families, homes, businesses, ministries, and our own countries. Just as You bless and keep Israel, we thank You for blessing and keeping our families as well. Surround Israel and surround us with protective angels to keep our feet from stumbling. When we are afraid, Yeshua, we declare that our trust is in You and our hope is in God Almighty who never slumbers nor sleeps.
