Betty King: "No One Can Steal What God Is Preserving!"

Betty King
Apr 7, 2023

From the Desks of Steve Shultz and Julie A. Smith:

Steve ShultzThis is an excellent message for many in this current day who are dealing with afflictions in their lives, even feeling like much has been stolen from them... I know many have felt that way!

But take heart as Betty King from the UK opens with some of this:

I want to bring a word to you about identity theft. You already know that there is so much turmoil taking place in the realms of the spirit these days. Having sought the Lord about these things and others over recent days, I recently awoke to a word from Him: "No one can steal what is being preserved."

He then began to show me the unfolding picture of His invitation for the sons of God to manifest (Romans 8:19). I saw the process and the manifestation that is taking place all over the world...

Steve ShultzThat is so good...and we encourage you to dig into the details of rest of Betty King's article...knowing that YOU are His Son and Daughter, and God has NOT forgotten you! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Dear Saints,

Blessings to you and much more!

I saw the process and the manifestation that is taking place all over the world. This is not about what is going to happen at some time, but about what has already begun and is taking place right now. I also saw a picture of a thick, potent oil falling on His people and permeating them.

The enemy has been using as many things as he can to strike against Believers; and where these blows and strikes have landed, and people have been wounded, it can seem, somehow, as though God is absent. In the wider world, there are wars and rumors of wars, and in so many ways, the conscience of humanity is dying, causing people to question the presence of God.

Often, when you or someone you know is struck, you cannot see the nature of God in it, and so you ask, "Why is this so? Why is God absent?" And while you know that you should immediately go back to a mindset of faith and to obedience in what He has told you to do, the constant striking and infliction of various pains play on your mind and become a real distraction.

The Oil Is Going Deeper

What I saw, however, is that even while all of this is happening, the thick oil that is being poured out and the healing balm that comes from Him are working deeper and deeper and deeper into the lives of those who are His. From this, there is such a powerful fragrance of His character and presence that is being worked into them, which will then be outworked through faith and obedience as a manifestation of His nature. You only have to look at those who are struck, yet respond by drawing closer to God, to see this happening. (Photo via Pixabay)

There are also those beloved ones of His who are present to bring towels to those who are bleeding, so that they don't bleed out. These are the ones who are still pointing people to the truth, whether they are in a role as a pastor, leader or business person, stemming the flow of blood from the wounds that the enemy has caused.

You may be one of these beloved ones, and may even be wounded and bleeding yourself; but you are still piecing together whatever is needed to make sure that the families and people around you, and the nations in which you serve, are being preserved and sustained. You may have lost a loved one or have something else going on, but you still pick up the towel and wipe the blood from someone else's face; and the oil goes deeper, still, for both you and them.

Then there are those on the ground in the various nations where the most intense striking is taking place, making sure that people are still being saved. These are the loyal and faithful of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. For them, too, and for the people in those places, the oil is going deeper and deeper still.

Don't Let the Enemy Rob You of Your Identity!

The Lord said to me clearly that He is empowering His nature and nothing of what the enemy is trying to empower. God is not empowering doubt or unbelief, or mockery or provocation. He is not the one empowering division or confusion, because where there is division, there is every evil thing. Let's not think that any of that is what He wants to manifest in this hour. Rather, He is empowering and repositioning His people for His purposes.

There is an identity aspect to all of this. In Exodus 2, we read of how Moses had to go in between two identities. Although he was at first hidden by his parents, he ended up in the house of Pharaoh, only to be given again to his own mother to be nurtured for periods of time. When he tried to make a commitment to his Hebrew identity, he found himself driven out from the Hebrews completely, only to brought back again for their deliverance. He was struck in many ways, and I'm sure there were many times when it seemed to him as though God was absent. However, God was not absent at all, and Moses' identity was secured and fulfilled.

The Lord says not to let the enemy rob you of your identity, even though at times you may feel like you are in an in-between place. You thinking or feeling that He is absent doesn't mean that He is not in full knowledge and control of what is happening.

The Lily Among Thorns

Song of Songs 2 comes to mind, where it speaks of the "lily among thorns" (verse 2). Being among thorns represents being in an environment that inflicts pain and wounds, yet the lily is an object of great beauty. Whatever pain you go through while among the thorns is making you more sensitive to Him and bringing out your beauty. Remember who you are. (Photo via Public Domain Pictures)

This is the season for the manifestation of the sons of God on Earth, and so I encourage many of you to realize that whatever is trying to steal what you have labored for will not work. You don't have to strive over what God is preserving. When man tries to do things in his own strength, it may look for a moment as though things will blossom, but that does not mean they are blossoming in God's sight. It is what God watches over that will blossom (Psalm 127:1). He is the one that will make things happen and ensure that no one steals what you have worked for.

Whenever a strike hits, look to Him, because He has it all covered (Psalm 121). You will see fulfillment, increase and the manifestation of whatever He has planned. In this season, whatever God is doing, nobody can stop.

Be encouraged. You may be thinking, What about me, God? Have You forgotten about me? He has not forgotten about anybody. What is happening is that the oil is getting deeper, and when He needs you to stand, you will manifest in His image, in His likeness, and you will bring absolute pleasure and joy to Him. This is the season in which the sons of God are manifesting.
