Give a Monthly Gift

In this season, God is leading His people through their obstacles. There is breakthrough available by facing the challenges before you. God is releasing faith for His promises and confidence that "the matter is settled"; His promises will come to pass. God is releasing heavenly wisdom and understanding. He is also bringing together communities and divine partnerships and uniting people in purpose!

The Way Through

"Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." (Romans 5:3-5)

Often in life, we face BIG obstacles. And sometimes we look for solutions to get around those obstacles or get rid of them. You may even pray for God to spare you from what is in front of you. However, sometimes the only way is THROUGH the obstacle. Perhaps you're experiencing this now. You may feel like the mountain in front of you is giant, that you're out of options, but you have no idea how to summit this mountain. You may feel unsettled, disempowered, or frightened. However, you are not alone.

God has prepared you for precisely this moment and He will sustain you through this season; He will lead you through to the other side. Expect to feel His presence closer than before. Stay connected to Him. There is a crown of victory that is available to you only by moving forward with Him through the obstacles, across the mountain. He is strengthening you in a beautiful way, refining the rough spots. Your reliance on Him will be anchored to His faithfulness.

Trust that He's with you, He's leading you, and He's got you in the palm of His hand. Your testimony through this trial will strengthen you and many others when you share it. It will be like an Ebenezer to God's faithfulness in your life. Out of this place of pressing will come unrelenting HOPE! Hold onto hope when things feel impossible.

God is leading you THROUGH what feels like an insurmountable obstacle in front of you. His presence will lead you, comfort you, and sustain you. He is inviting you to walk through with Him. If you're feeling the pressing and the crushing, hold on to hope and lean into His presence. Take His hand. Cry if you need to. Solicit prayer from faith-filled people. The Matter Is Settled

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ. And so through Him the 'Amen' is spoken by us to the glory of God." (2 Corinthians 1:20)

Many times, when we are standing in faith for a dream that's in our heart it can be exhausting wondering if it will ever come to pass. Fear, confusion, and doubt can wreak havoc on our hope and faith and leave us riddled with discouragement. God is speaking directly to that tender place of desire in your heart as only He can. He is meeting you in the vulnerable place of wondering if God cares about what matters to you. What matters to you also matters to Him, and He is confirming His care for you.

Watch for open doors to step into those dreams, and for confirmation that may speak only to your heart. These signs (or "kisses" from God) will only solidify that you are indeed partnering with the purpose He's created within you. You may feel like He's giving you a glimpse to see how He's going to accomplish it.

God is confirming to you that you are aligned with Him, and He's working to make those dreams happen. He's revealing the "how" as He clarifies the timing. He is opening doors that only He can. He is extending a hand so you know that you are not alone in this. This is an invitation to greater intimacy with the One who created you. If you have felt discouraged about your dreams coming to pass or like losing hope, then it's time to come back to HOPE. Pay attention to the nudges from the Holy Spirit. He might give you an invitation to write out the dream that's in your heart, or explore that dream in practical ways. He wants to partner with you in dreaming. Step out in faith!

Understanding Is the Key!

"Whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them." (Matthew 13:12)

The Bible tells us that understanding comes from our connection to God and is closely related to our desire for wisdom (Proverbs 2:6; Proverbs 9:10). Jesus spoke in parables because not everyone was ready and able to understand what He was saying, nor did they have the spiritual discernment necessary to comprehend. Speaking in this manner created a natural filter. The parables created a dynamic that forced people to dig for the meat and discern things spiritually. Proverbs 25:2 tells us that it is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search it out.

I believe one of the keys to this verse is understanding. In James 1:5, God's Word tells us that if we ask for wisdom, God gives generously to all without finding fault. The definition of the word "wisdom" is quite rich, including the wisdom which belongs to man, and the wisdom that belongs to God. How do we steward the understanding that God gives to us? Do we implement it in our daily lives, or do we lock it away inside of our minds? Look at how God rewarded Solomon when He asked for wisdom to govern the people God had entrusted him with: He gave him the wisdom he sought, but also wealth, riches and honor like no king before him or after him (2 Chronicles 1:11-12). God values the pursuit of wisdom and understanding.

God is releasing understanding as His people seek Him. He is rewarding those that hunger for the things of the Spirit with wisdom, revelation and understanding. This word is for those whose spirits have been awakened to truth and are in pursuit of God's wisdom. Allow God to open your eyes and ears to discern truth. Ask for God's revelation for you, right now. Press into what God is revealing to you. Write it down. Process it with God. Steward it. (Photo via Flickr)

United in Purpose

"I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose." (1 Corinthians 1:10)

This is a season where God is uniting people around purpose. In the past you may have gathered people around you in relation to interests, but in this more intentional time, God is now strategically aligning people that are united in purpose. This will result in friendships, marriages, business partnerships and connections that will be accelerated during this time.

He is accelerating the timeline and multiplying the unified effectiveness you will have with these like-minded people. Some will have entirely new community groups, almost overnight, and many will feel like they've finally found their "tribe." Watch for a rapid transition and acceleration that occurs because of new interests.

God is leading some through their curiosity, and that exploration will open up a whole new world that leads to this new community. Pay attention to what captures your attention! The momentum that occurs because of your united purpose will blow you away! You will accomplish more with less, and the ground that one has gained will benefit the other. Be intentional with how you choose to spend your time, and pay attention to the people and things that God is placing on your heart during this time.

God is breathing on connections and relationships that are connected through purpose. He's uniting those that will be running together into what they're created for. This word is for any who have been feeling the pull to explore or research something new. It's also for people who have been crying out to God to show them what they're made for. Follow your curiosity. Pay attention to where you feel like God is leading and the people that He's bringing around you. These may be the people that you're running with for a long time!

1. I am boldly moving through the obstacles in front of me with courage.

2. God is bringing His promises to pass – the matter is settled.

3. I ask boldly and God gives me wisdom.

4. God is leading me to my community and people.

5. God is my sustainer.
