Dionne White: "Just Breathe! It's Birthing Season"

It is my joy to introduce you to my friend Dionne White. My wife Kelly and I have had the privilege of getting to know Dionne and her husband Will for the past couple of years, and what a delight that has been. We have been so impressed by their heart to serve, encourage and strengthen others as their way of life. Dionne's prophetic ministry is the same! All of Creation Is Holding Its Breath

I was in a phone conversation with a friend recently when the word of the Lord came to me and I said, "I feel as if all of creation is holding its breath and waiting to exhale!" We both took a deep breath and exhaled ourselves.

This resonated within me, and immediately following my phone call, I went into prayer and received a vision. I saw the earth and all of creation expanding and contracting...it was breathing. It was like I was seeing it as a living being and could see breath expanding the very ground we walked on. Then it would contract; the ground would sink a bit, the waters would swell and the trees would sway. I saw creation breathing. I then heard in my spirit the following Scripture:

"For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God." (Romans 8:19)

It's Birthing Season

I continued to pray into this. The following morning, I awoke early, and in the stillness of dawn I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Just breathe. It's birthing season."

The vision I had from the day before reappeared before me and then Isaiah 66:9 came to mind:

"'Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?' says the LORD. 'Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?' says your God."

The word of the Lord came to me again as follows:

Strategic Breathing

"The Holy Spirit says, 'Just breathe.' The Holy Spirit and angels will be your coaches to help you successfully birth."

The Spirit of the Lord then spoke about a woman in labor and how the breathing is a strategy through the birthing process of a child. Women are taught and coached by doulas and midwives (or by what I knew 24 years ago as "Lamaze coaches"). They teach them how to breathe, when to breathe, when to rest and when to push while in labor.

The breathing, particularly, is a strategy to help one focus. I believe many are pregnant with promises and need to steward this last "trimester" with divine wisdom. We need to be in step with the Spirit of God so we can carry things to full term. The enemy would love to abort the promises of God in His people right now by baiting us into discouragement, disillusion, faint-heartedness, offense, apathy and selfish ambition. Any of these can lead us down a path to miscarry the promises of God.

How to Breathe

In regard to breathing, we can do this spiritually by meditating on Christ. We fill our lungs with His breath by focusing our thoughts on Him and following the lead of the Holy Spirit. For the Christ follower, our thoughts and "breaths" are to be focused upon the Lord, His Word and His ways.

I believe this is a strategy the Holy Spirit wants us to engage with as we finish the year 2022 strong, continuing through the year of 5783 and as we transition into 2023. We need to learn how to rest and breathe, pacing ourselves through the times that are upon us so that we can successfully birth the promises of God.

His Promises Are in Us

His promises are in the sons and daughters of God whom He is revealing. This is why all of creation waits and breathes...it is eagerly waiting for the promises of God to come forth through the revealing of His sons and daughters. I believe there has never been a time that creation has groaned more for its Creator to be revealed!

Many have been having dreams about being pregnant, holding babies, and even (like myself) seeing baby birds in their dreams. I believe these dreams are a witness to the birthing that is coming, and we are to look to the spring for much of this to happen.

Promises Birthed in April

I keep hearing the word "April" in my spirit. Even as I was writing this, I looked at my clock and saw that it was 4:14 (PM) on 11/14.

Esther 4:14: "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" (Photo via Piqsels)

God is already speaking into the spring season as we approach Passover (which is in April), and I truly believe, "for such a time as this," the sons and daughters of God will be revealed, and the promises of God will begin to be birthed in this time.

As we look to the spring of 2023, we see can see that Passover begins on the evening of April 5 and ends at sundown on April 13. When we read about Passover in Scripture, there can be no doubt that the promises of God are in line with this time on His calendar. We wait and breathe in expectation for the incredible miracles, signs, wonders and promises of God to come.

Get Ready to Witness Something Incredible

I am here to encourage you to just breathe through this time of birthing. Pace yourself. Don't hold your breath. Holy Spirit and the angels will be your coaches. It's birthing season! Get into position and breathe.

We are about to witness something incredible in the nations, unlike anything we've ever seen before. God is getting ready to birth His plan in the nations and you play an important part in seeing it happen!

Again, the Lord is reminding us: "'Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?' says the LORD. 'Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?' says your God" (Isaiah 66:9).
