Prophetic Dream
Recently, I had a dream where I was in the front row at a conference listening to a known female prophet. In real life, this great woman of God is a pioneer who has forged a path in womens' ministry to raise up, train and equip Believers in the Body of Christ. Along with being known as a great prophetic pioneer, she also has an established media ministry.
As I was in the dream, I turned my head to the right. Suddenly, an amazing man of God was standing beside me. In real life, he is a trail blazer for the Kingdom of God and considered to be a general in the ministry of deliverance. He is a pastor, a known spiritual father, and he also has an established media ministry.
In the dream, he had a huge smile on his face. He looked me straight in the eyes, and with great enthusiasm, he shouted, "I joined Shiloh too!" Then he threw his hands up and gave me a high five. When I heard him say this, it felt like he was saying that he had entered Shiloh.
Shiloh
When I woke up, I remembered the speaker in the dream has a connection to the word "Shiloh"; he has a ministry with that name! I leaned into the Spirit of God and began to study this word. Shiloh is spoken of as a location over thirty times in Scripture. It is the place where the Ark of the Covenant was kept in the tabernacle. It is a place where people gathered yearly for feasts. Shiloh is the place where God revealed Himself to Samuel.
The list goes on and on about this place called Shiloh. It is referred to only one time in Scripture as the name of a person, and that reference is pointing to the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth – the One that would come. It is the first time we see the word "Shiloh" in Scripture. In this verse, a decree is being made by Jacob to his son Judah, prophetically speaking of the Messiah: "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and to Him shall the gathering of the people be" (Genesis 49:10, emphasis mine). If we consider the Law of First Mention (which says that to understand a doctrine or a word, we must look to the first place it is mentioned in Scripture to gain the clearest understanding), it can bring great insight and significance to the foundational meaning of this word. In Hebrew, Shiloh means, "He whose it is, or that which belongs to him." Shiloh is a Person, a location and place of revelation, promise and rest. It also means "gift of God."
Give Your Neighbor a High Five!
In my dream, the deliverance minister was standing next to me, like we knew each other. I recently found out that he is known to use the words "Give your neighbor a high five" in his meetings. This seemed like a significant part of the dream. When you give someone a high five, it is an intentional connection! It can be a greeting and a sign of celebration. We see this gesture occurring all of the time in sports between teammates.
In Scripture, the word "neighbor" can refer to a friend, companion or associate. In the natural, neighbors are aligned with us. They may be next door, across the street or somewhere in the neighborhood, but there is alignment and association by proximity.
Gathered as One
In the last few scenes of the dream, I was being mentored and equipped. I listened intently and soaked up all of what was being poured into me. Both ministers in the dream had suddenly been connected to me. We were put together not by our own choosing, but intentionally gathered by the Lord.
Let's look back at this part in Genesis 49:10: "...to Him shall the gathering of the people be." With this in mind, I feel like the Lord is speaking that He is intentionally gathering, aligning and connecting us to each other and to Himself in this hour.
The revelation of our oneness with Him is the greatest alignment. When this takes place, we no longer see ourselves outside of Him, or feel like orphans searching for significance. We are awakening to the realization of our oneness, and in this place, there is no separation. (Photo via Unsplash)
This great awakening is upon us. As we lay down religion and the traditions of men, and begin to commune with the living God, then who we truly are in Him will be revealed. We are one! Awakening to this place is a fulfillment and answered prayer that Jesus Himself prayed in John 17:21: "[T]hat they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me."
We Are Entering Shiloh
I believe, as a Body, we are entering Shiloh. The great Minister of Reconciliation is reconciling us to Himself first, and also to each other. In Him, every false identity will be stripped away. In this place, all searching and striving for significance will cease. His original plans and intentions for His heirs will be made known.
We are entering a place of awakening, revelation, harvest, fulfilled promises and rest. Kingdom families are expanding as we come into the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God. Lines of separation that have kept us from connecting are being diminished. Inheritors are being revealed. Sons, daughters, fathers, mothers, mentors, destiny alignments and teams are being gathered and joined intentionally by the hand of the Lord.
The day after I had this dream, I was suddenly connected to some amazing new people, and I was invited and scheduled to be interviewed on television. This has been prophetically spoken over my life for many years. What a testimony and confirmation to this dream!
Get ready to enter into this place in Christ – into the Greater One and His glory – as one. He is our great and exceeding reward. Welcome, family of God, to the place called Shiloh!
