"St. Louis, My Glory Will Flood Your City Once Again!"
God's Eye Is on St. Louis, Missouri
God's eye is truly on St. Louis, and a move of God is brewing in this gateway city. For many months now, the Lord has been speaking to my husband and me about St. Louis. The Lord is visiting the heart of America, and I hear Him saying, "St. Louis, St. Louis, St. Louis! My glory is returning. St. Louis, you are not forgotten. This is your visitation hour, and My glory will flood your city once again.
"People will ask, 'What is going on in St. Louis, St. Louis, St. Louis, St. Louis?' I am calling you! I am calling you into your destiny – a gateway city of My glory. I am visiting you. I have heard your cry and I am even now sending reinforcements. My eye is upon you and My heart burns for you. Your streets will flow with light again, and a new sound will be heard across the nation from the heart of St. Louis, St. Louis, St. Louis, St. Louis!
"I am calling you higher. I am coming to your aid. Many will suddenly start to call your name and talk of what I am doing in your midst. You are a city I have reserved for such a time as this, and I will pour out My Spirit in your streets, your homes and your city yet again.
"Be ready, St. Louis. My eye is upon you and My heart burns for you. Your city will be flooded with light, as you are a lighthouse to the Midwest and a gateway of glory to the nation. The enemy has fiercely come against your call, but I am fiercely coming for My people. Get ready. I have heard your cry and My eye is upon you."
This is a Psalm 24 moment for St. Louis. Open up the gates, St. Louis, that the King of glory may come in!
Psalm 24:7-10: "Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is He, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty – He is the King of glory."
The "Show Me Your Glory" State
Some months ago, I was praying in tongues whilst ministering in New York and I heard myself say, "Missouri." I immediately knew it was the Lord and that Missouri was on the Lord's heart. I had never been to Missouri, but I began to pray and call in God's glory and purposes over the great state of Missouri. The more I prayed, the more I sensed God's heart beating for this state. What has seemed overlooked and hidden is about to be revealed afresh to the nation.
The glory is coming to Missouri and it will affect how people think about this state. The "Show Me State" is going to be shown the glory of God in an observable way. God is revisiting this state and reestablishing it as a region where His glory resides. Missouri is being put back on the revival map. Many will come to see. Many have said, "If God is real, show me." Get ready, Missouri. God is about to SHOW YOU His glory. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)
A Beachhead City and a Lighthouse to the Midwest
I saw a vision of St. Louis depicted as a huge lighthouse, and then I heard the Lord say, "St. Louis, you are a lighthouse of revival, and I am about to turn the light on for all to come see. You are called to shine light, not emanate darkness; and My glory will shine light in the darkness, transforming what you are known for."
Light will dispel long-established networks of darkness that have held the city captive and prevented you from thriving. Heaviness will break and a noticeable shift in hope for the region will impact every sphere of community life.
As I contemplated calling St. Louis a lighthouse city, I heard the Lord say, "St. Louis is a beachhead." I was aware that there is no ocean beach in St. Louis, and though I knew (prophetically) what these terms represented, it was strange to hear two things from the Lord that were terms depicting ocean landscapes in a state in the middle of America! I kept hearing the Lord say, "St. Louis is a beachhead city and lighthouse."
A Pent-up Flood of Glory
Isaiah 59:19: "From the west, people will fear the name of the LORD, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere His glory. For He will come like a pent-up flood that the breath of the LORD drives along."
God is breathing life to the dead, tired structures and used up dreams. The breath of God is resurrecting His purposes in the city. His faithful people are being visited by the King of glory.
I hear the Lord saying, "My faithful ones of St. Louis, I have heard your prayers and seen your battle weariness. You have stood and fought with mighty valor and courage. I am blowing a fresh wind; look for it. I am rumbling the ground with a new sound; listen for it. My breath is restoring that which the enemy has stolen and trampled on."
Urgency to Take the Beachhead
As I kept hearing the Lord say that St. Louis is both a lighthouse and beachhead to middle America, I could sense the urgency to "take the beachhead of St. Louis."
A beachhead in a battle holds great strategic significance, as it is where the troops first take control and establish a base to advance further. The beachhead is needed, or the battle at large is lost. That beachhead carries great significance, as the entire region is influenced by what is fought and won on the landing strip of the beachhead. There is urgency to take this ground now, as the enemy has seen its significance and is even now trying to put plans in place to keep St. Louis in a state of demise. However, the Lord is putting St. Louis on the hearts of His people, and many are rallying to her to contend for this great city.
Open Up, You Gateway of Glory!
What happens in St. Louis affects and influences the entire region, as it is a GATEWAY TO THE WEST. It is of such prophetic significance that the famous landmark of the Gateway Arch stands alongside the Mississippi River, prophesying St. Louis' call as a gateway city. For this reason, the enemy has contested fiercely over this city, as its influence is far greater than just the city. It is strategically significant because it is a gateway and beachhead to secure and win, as its victory opens up the Midwest and across the United states. In other words, what happens in St. Louis affects the entire Midwest of America and beyond.

A Pioneering Hub of Revival Poised for Massive Soul Winning
The urgency of securing this beachhead city is paramount, as it will give great hope and momentum for revival in other places. St. Louis is a PIONEERING hub of revival that must arise into her call now. Her breakthrough releases other cities into their breakthrough, as St. Louis pioneers the way and affords hope to others. For this reason, I hear the Lord say, "Arise, warrior Bride. Stand alongside My remnant in St. Louis. This ground is contested, but I am opening up the gates, that My glory may come in."
The ground is ready and the urgency for souls to be won can be felt in the atmosphere. I see many ministries and movements gaining momentum for a vast harvest. There will be a fresh wind that will blow, accelerating these efforts and birthing new initiatives that reach people with the Gospel.
A Sound That Will Break the Back of Heaviness
One of the key tactics of the enemy has been a spirit of heaviness coming against this region. This heaviness will break as wild praise is continually used as a weapon. Confusion, pressure, fogginess of thought, hopelessness, suicidal strongholds, torment, anxiety and lack of clarity will equally dissipate. I see that the grip of heaviness which has been trying to wear out the saints, and destroy a city, is breaking.
Wild, radical praise is a key. A new sound is being birthed from St. Louis. Your sound will break the back of heaviness and will cause an army to arise. The sound of revival will rumble the ground and send shock waves across the Midwest.
A Wave of Creativity, Entrepreneurialism and Hope
As the back of the enemy's assault on St. Louis breaks, creativity and fresh entrepreneurialism will flow. St. Louis will pioneer fresh hope that restores what the enemy has stolen in this region.
Sending and Equipping "Gospel Armies"
St. Louis and Missouri are a sending and equipping region. Many will be increasingly equipped and sent out as cutting-edge revivalists and modern-day missionaries. I see "Gospel armies" being raised up that are sent out as effective and bold harvesters.
Get Ready, St. Louis!
Get ready, St. Louis. Prepare your heart for the King of glory to come in. You are a lighthouse in the middle of America, and light will dispel the darkness. The Lord's heart is tender toward you and His compassion is upon you. He is fighting with and for you.
God's eye is upon you, and a trumpet blast is declaring over you, "Open up, you gates of St. Louis," as the King of glory will flood your streets again.
