"It's Your Birthing Season"

I had a dream that my recently married daughter had a baby. This baby was absolutely stunning. She had beautiful, dark, curly locks of hair and gorgeous hazel eyes. In the dream, I said to my daughter, "What a beautiful baby!" Then I heard the Lord say, "This is what you have been praying for. It's birthing season!"

I realized, in that moment, that the Bride has been carrying a promise – a baby who has been delayed by so many of life's situations. The Lord brought me to the story of Hannah, who had prayed to God for a baby (see 1 Samuel). She cried before the Lord for a baby, and when she and her family went to worship God at Shiloh, the priest, Eli, thought that she was drunk.

"Once when they had finished eating and drinking in Shiloh, Hannah stood up. Now Eli the priest was sitting on his chair by the doorpost of the LORD'S house. In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the LORD, weeping bitterly. And she made a vow, saying, 'LORD Almighty, if You will only look on Your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget Your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head.'

"As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth. Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk and said to her, 'How long are you going to stay drunk? Put away your wine.'

"'Not so, my lord,' Hannah replied, 'I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD.'" (1 Samuel 1:9-15 NIV)

When We Have Agreement

Eli then realized her anguish and heard she wasn't drinking. He came into agreement with her petition before the Lord!

"'Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief.' Eli answered, 'Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of Him.'" (1 Samuel 1:16-17 NIV)

She went home and conceived her baby boy, who would become known as Samuel the prophet.

I hear the Lord saying that what you have been pregnant with in the spirit is His prophetic promise over your life and family. The Lord has not lost sight of what He has given to you and planted within your spirit. I hear Him saying that He has not lost track of time and that He sees you! He agrees with the promises that HE has spoken over and into your life! (Photo via Unsplash)

Shedding the Old Weight

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." (Hebrews 12:1 NIV)

I have recently shed some weight that I have been trying to lose for years. For years, I couldn't get below a certain number. I had tried everything in my power to get below a certain number. THEN, I surrendered myself unto the Lord in this area and what He showed me was phenomenal! He showed me that as I give everything to Him, He will release that which I have been carrying outside of Him.

The picture that He gave me was of the Bride waking up a mountain side. In this journey, she was carrying a heavy backpack that she should not have been carrying. There were birds that appeared to be bothering her, which were distracting her from going higher!

I heard the Lord say, "I am taking the burdens that you shouldn't have been carrying. A divine exchange is taking place – a change of perspective so that you can see clearly, a change that is demonstrating the spirit of breakthrough in your life!"

I was praying recently with a friend and felt the image that God gave to me was a corporate picture for the Church. I heard Him say that as you are set free from the burdens of this world, you will see, hear and BE at a higher level! This will a marker in your life as HIS love will be what you are known by.
