Raising the Flag
"I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought." (1 Corinthians 1:10 NIV)
On June 24, 2022, I was brought into a dream where I saw myself among a crowd of people by a flag pole, trying to raise the American flag. I found myself straining to hoist it up as if there was an issue with the rope, or maintenance issues that needed tending to. However, as I continued to press on and pull, it eventually went up. Then I awoke from the dream.
After pondering this for a few hours, I believe this is a prophetic message to the nation of America concerning where we are and where we are headed. I truly believe that the dream represents America, once again, standing tall in victory, in pride, in honor, in strength and in unity.
In the dream, I noticed that I was hoisting this flag amongst a crowd of people. I hear the Lord saying that He will do something so massive and remarkable in America, it was cause people from within her states, and from foreign nations, to look upon her beauty once again. It will draw the attention of many and gather a people back to her glory for the sake of the Kingdom of God.
However, while in this dream, I was concerned about why it took me so long to raise the flag and why was it so difficult – why I was faced with so much resistance. It was then that I heard the Lord say that this remarkable thing can only come when we as the people of America become uniformed and united. It is not the job of one man or party or race to pull this nation back to its place of VICTORY. It will take a team effort and the Church rising up and praying, so that His hand can remove the strains and weights that have been upon her for centuries.
Flag Detail: United We Stand
As I heard the voice of the Lord concerning this matter, I reached out to my spiritual mother and spiritual brother to get more insight and clarity. I wanted to make sure I was hearing right and to have the proper accountability concerning the revelation that I was receiving. As I began to tell my brother what I was shown, he then told me that what I was doing in the dream was an example of what the military refers to as "flag detail." He went on to say that in order to properly hoist up a flag, you need a several soldiers surrounding the flag pole.
Upon hearing this insight, it made much more sense to me and answered my question as to why I was having difficulty pulling up the flag. It was because this job was intended for multiple people working together to accomplish this goal. Furthermore, I believe the Lord is saying that we must get to a place where we are working with others in this hour and stop trying to carry these burdens by ourselves. When we take things into our own hands without the help of others, we risk the chance of causing our assignments and jobs to be hindered and delayed. This is why we need people; they are a lifeline and a great help to us, so that we may see victory and justice applied over every circumstance that we are faced with.

One of the key assets and advantages we have in life is being able to partner with others, so much so that the Bible assures us "two are better than one" (see Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). In this season, I believe we are going to need one another like never before in order to carry out this great commission that has been handed to the Body of Christ and America at large, if we truly intend on seeing our nation rise and be great again.
I hear the Lord saying, "Oh America, how I long to see you united." It is actually the heart of the Father that we would come together in unity, for there is power in numbers. This is why the enemy has been causing great havoc and division in this nation over the centuries, because he understands that if he can divide, he can also conquer. But I hear the Lord saying, "Not so! But you, America, shall grow in unity."
"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
"Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone? And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 KJV)
The Spirit of Harmony
Over the next few years or decades, perhaps, I believe one of the major components we will begin to see unfold in this nation is the spirit of harmony. Yes, every tribe, tongue and race will come together for a greater cause and purpose – to see this nation change according to the will of God, which will forge a new era for a new generation. However, this will take courage, bravery and risk, just as in times past.
Back in the 1950s and 1960s, there were great men like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who rose to the occasion to forge change during their time. The Lord is looking for a people, even today, who have that same tenacity and boldness, who would unite a people and be a bridge, causing generations and ethnicities to merge together. People such as these will carry the spirit of Elijah through this nation, bringing forth reconciliation, love and unity.
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." (Malachi 4:5-6 KJV)

Addressing the Root Issue
As of late, we have witnessed and experienced a great falling away and division that has rippled throughout this nation because of the lack of love, integrity and honor, and because many have become self-centered (caring and only worrying about themselves). In fact, many would rather pull others down or sabotage them rather than see them succeed. They lack the ability to join forces to accomplish something far greater and beyond ourselves.
Often, people are either trying to put each other down or walk over each other, ambitious to get ahead of the next person. It is for this reason that nations tumble – perish. This is the same model that caused Lucifer to fall from Heaven, because of his selfish ambitions, motives and pride. If we desire to see unity, we must get to the root issue that causes these things to occur in our nation, and pride is a huge factor.
"How you have fallen from Heaven, O star of the morning [light-bringer], son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the ground, you who have weakened the nations [king of Babylon]!
"But you said in your heart, 'I will ascend to Heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the remote parts of the north.'" (Isaiah 14:12-13 AMP)
When this model is embraced, it weakens a nation and causes the hand of God to turn from that nation.
I hear the Spirit of grace saying, "America, if you will be willing to stand on the vows that were set before you, I will indeed purify and vindicate you back to Myself, causing hope to arise again and joy to sweep throughout your land. (Photo via Wikimedia Commons)

The Bowl of Incense
While in my prayer time, seeking the Lord for more clarity and understanding of this word, I was given an inner vision of a bowl of incense. I heard the Lord say that these were the prayers which had come before the throne of God – our intercessions for unity within this nation. These prayers have come from much sacrifice, from the tears, blood and sweat of those who have earnestly sought the Lord in times past. Their prayers have paved the wave to usher us into one of the greatest times of unity we have ever seen in this country... if we will yield to the Spirit of God and see our neighbor as our own. We need intercession as well as a bold society who will initiate this movement.
"And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb (Christ), each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of fragrant incense, which are the prayers of the saints (God's people). And they sang a new song [of glorious redemption], saying,
"'Worthy and deserving are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slain (sacrificed), and with Your Blood You purchased people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.'" (Revelation 5:8-9 AMP)
America, Your Best Days Are Ahead of You!
The Lord says, "America, your best days are ahead of you. The days of revival are upon you and your dawning has come. There is still hope for this nation... I have not given up on you, nor have I forgotten you, but I am looking for a people who will make unity a priority and not an option; who will make unity their passion and not an obligation. I, the Lord thy God, am looking for a people who will place unity at the forefront and not on the back burner... who will align their will with My perfect will.
"Unity is coming to America in a great measure and capacity, and in a great volume as I echo it throughout the mouths of My people. America will rise again, but this time in great unity."
United we stand, divided we fall.
"Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you." (2 Corinthians 13:11 NIV)
"Beyond all these things put on and wrap yourselves in [unselfish] love, which is the perfect bond of unity [for everything is bound together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others]. Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of Believers]. And be thankful [to God always]." (Colossians 3:14-15 AMP)
