"Can plunder be taken from warriors, or captives be rescued from the fierce? But this is what the LORD says: 'Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save.'" (Isaiah 49:24-25)
My dear friends in America and across the globe, we are standing together in a miracle. For the past fifty years, the most consequential death decree of our nation's history has plundered the wombs of this generation, claiming the lives of over 63 million children. Now, as of Friday, June 24, 2022, the federalized sword of abortion has been broken and Roe v. Wade is no more.
I've spent most of the past few days weeping for joy, fielding text bombs, and revisiting the supernatural ways that God has led us through these years. I've come to a place where I believe more than ever that all these dreams were true, and all these prayers were actually heard by God. What an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime moment we are in.
I want to honor all the organizations of the last 50 years, since 1973, who have carried God's banner for life: the Catholics, the Pro-Life Movement, the crisis pregnancy centers, and all who have engaged. I thank God for my friend Matt Lockett and for Will Ford and their story. I think of 7/7/07 and the 70 thousand people who stood with LIFE tape on their mouths. I want to thank everyone who has been part of Bound4Life, the Justice Houses of Prayer, and TheCall. Particularly, I want to thank so many friends who have walked with me as we have followed God together, but it is the Lord Himself, the Great God, who has done this!
The Blue and the Gray
In the midst of the celebration, I find myself gripped with the sense that the battle, in many ways, has just begun. In 2002, a brother had a dream with me in it. I only heard about it a few months ago. In the dream, he saw a huge angel with one foot on the shore and one foot in the ocean. The angel was pulling a sword out of his sheath and lightning flashed from its blade. In the dream, I looked to the left and saw millions of gravestones of babies. They were blue colored gravestones. I knew what this was saying; it was the blue and the gray – the battle of the states! What began in the ending of Roe now becomes a state-by-state battle of prayer.
As the dream progressed, he saw me standing before the angel with my arms raised in the air, and I began to cry, "WAIT, WAIT, WAIT!"
This dream has been active for twenty years, but I believe it has come to me now because it has a very important application for today. Though the legal curse of Roe v. Wade was brought to an end, there is still judgment on the land due to the blood of 63 million babies crying out for justice. We believe that God has actually set the stage for something that we're calling "The Great Communion Blood Revival."
The Great Communion Blood Revival
In 2004, as we prayed at the steps of the Supreme Court, one of our guys said, "If we turn this LIFE tape into LIFE bands, like the LIVESTRONG bands, we could start a Martin Luther King movement to end abortion like they did in Birmingham." I was struck by this word and began to ponder, What if a million people wore LIFE bands, and every time they looked at them they would pray for the ending of abortion? If they prayed maybe five times a day, that would be five million prayers a day! I told our team, "This is awesome, but we need to know if it's a good idea or a God idea."
The next day, a young African American man walked up to us at the Court when he saw our LIFE tape. He said, "Hey, you guys. If you turn that LIFE tape into LIFE bands, like the LIVESTRONG bands, I'd take it back to my hometown, Birmingham, and start a Martin Luther King movement to end abortion." We knew right then that it was the word of the Lord. So, we wrote a 22-word prayer to replace the 22-word prayer that was removed from schools in the court case Engel vs. Vitale. (Note: Saturday, June 25, happened to be the 60th anniversary of that court case.) The 22-word LIFE Band Prayer is this:
Jesus, I plead Your Blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America.
We've pleaded the Blood of Jesus in probably millions and millions of prayers, calling upon a Blood that speaks a better word than the cry of judgment rising from the spilled blood of America's infants. I believe God loosed that prayer for 18 years to give us ground for mercy, where He would not only end Roe v. Wade at the cries of His people, but He would also answer the second part of that dream as well, "God, end abortion and send revival to America."
We've been having dreams about a "Great Communion Revival." We realize it's time for every state to gather together for Communion and to plead the Blood of Jesus over their states. The Lord has been showing us that revolution is coming to His Church. The centerpiece of our gatherings will not be preaching. It will not be evangelism. It will not be prayer. The center of our gatherings will be the Lamb of God, as He is at the center of the throne, freshly slain. We believe the next great revival will be a Revelation 12 revival. They overcame the accuser of the brethren by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives, even unto death (Revelation 12:11).
A Call to Prayer: Coloring Colorado Red
I live in Colorado and I'm burning inside with this vision. On October 8, 2022, we are going to call Colorado to a day of fasting and Communion to cry out to God. Our governor has recently signed and released one of the most egregious bills, allowing abortions throughout nine months of pregnancy, with no restrictions, even up to birth. We want to rally people from across the 50 states to come to the first state that legalized abortion. Let's gather to Colorado and color the state red with the Blood of Christ. The name Colorado actually means colored red. We're believing that the river of the sacrament is going to loose the great harvest of America. We're expectant that God is going to answer millions of prayers: "God, end abortion; send revival." We are believing for the greatest revival we have ever seen!
A Call to Communion
One of our prophets had a dream in which it was said that "The Great Communion Revival" will far eclipse every other revival that has ever taken place.
The Blood of Jesus is so powerful. It can break the principalities and powers. It will rip the veil over our states so that people start getting saved and laborers are hurled forth into the harvest fields. I am calling people across the nation to start taking Communion everyday. Go up and down your states holding massive Communion services, pleading the Blood of Jesus, and praying, "God, have mercy and send this Great Communion Revival."
Will you join us? We've seen a mighty victory at the Supreme Court. God has done it. Hallelujah! Now, let's contend for all 50 states, believing that we don't have to go to a civil war. Let's believe for our own states to turn back to God and for the greatest revival the world has ever seen. Amen.
