Anointed Men of Power and Authority
Recently, I received a prophetic word for the women of God, but I sensed that the Lord wanted to speak to the men as well. It's been a challenging season for many of you, and the warfare has been relentless, but the Lord says: "Rise up, men of God. It is time to take your rightful position as anointed men of power and authority."
I believe that there is going to be a restoration and resurrection of once dead relationships, as many men will be renewing their vows to Jesus. It's time for you, man of God, to throw off your grave clothes and arise to the fullness of what the Lord has called you to do.
Many of you were once on fire for God, but you are now discouraged, distressed and fearful. In times past, you had a hunger for God's purpose and plans, but you've now lost your zeal. You read your Bible every day, but now you are listening to the mainstream media and it is causing psychological distress and confusion. Some of you feel that the Lord has abandoned you, but the Lord says: "I have not forgotten you." You are about to find favor with God and man.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
Equipped to Take Back Territory
Jesus is calling you to reestablish your relationship with Him. There is a price to pay to serve God, and the anointing is costly, but the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, and He wants to equip you to take back your territory. Don't settle for less than what He's called you to do. He's looking for men to be generals in the Kingdom of God. He wants to empower the fivefold ministry to minister with profound wisdom and revelation. He wants men to understand the authority and the power of their words.
In the book of Genesis, there was a man named Joseph. His father favored him and gave him a coat of many colors. His brothers were jealous and beat him, threw him into a pit, left him to die then went back and sold him into slavery. Even though he was rejected, abandoned, abused, and left for dead, he refused to be resentful, or become bitter. He resisted Potiphar's wife when she tried to seduce him. Joseph remained faithful through all his trials, and Pharaoh eventually promoted him as ruler over Egypt. He then gave him a new name – Zaphnath-Paaneah, which means "Revealer of Mysteries." "Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him." (Psalm 105:19)
You may have had a dream, but it seems as if your life is going in the opposite direction. The Lord says, "Do not allow anything to steal that dream that I have placed in your heart. Never give up on that which I've promised to you. I am the restorer of dreams, and My word will come to pass. Someone may have discouraged you, or tried to ruin your reputation by degrading you, but I've placed My mantle of favor upon you. Don't allow past failures to hold you back from the future that I have intended for you.
"Wage a good warfare, according to the prophecies that were given to you and are now in the process of fulfillment. Continue to trust Me and do what is right. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith. Catch the little foxes – the little foxes that spoil the vine. Keep your hands clean and your heart pure. Put on the whole armor of God so that you can stand against the wiles of the enemy. Some men have strayed and their faith is now in ruins."
The Lord is raising up men who are giant slayers, as courageous as King David. He was a warrior and a worshiper. He slayed a lion and a bear and defeated Goliath. He raised up and trained a powerful army from the twelve tribes of Judah. They were mighty men of valor, men trained for battle, who could handle a shield and a spear. Their faces were like the faces of lions, and they were as swift as gazelles on the mountains. They were ambidextrous and sharp shooters. He trained their hands for war and their fingers for battle.
"And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, 'The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!'" (Judges 6:12)
When the Lord takes you to another level, the enemy will always try to challenge you. God wants to move you from your old nature (Jacob) to your new nature (Israel). In the winter seasons the Holy Spirit is working under the ground. As you allow Him to work deep within the roots, luscious fruit will come out from the dirt. Don't despise the different seasons. There is a season of planting and a season of pruning. All seasons are necessary to bring you into the fullness of what He has for you. Only the seed that falls into good ground will receive a hundredfold return.
The Lord is raising up prophets who will come in the spirit and the power of Elijah. They will train and equip the Elisha generation coming after them. Their prophetic words will come forth with boldness and accuracy. This is the time for creative miracles. This is the season for encounters with the living God. They will minister with authority. They will call down fire from Heaven to destroy the doctrine of the prophets of Baal and silence the false prophets. They will be fed supernaturally in times of famine.
Emerging Prophetic Company
The Lord is raising up generation X and generation Z to be the Samuel prophets and seers who are called from a young age.
When the Lord first called Samuel, Samuel didn't recognize His voice. He grew up to be a prophet, and not one of his words fell to the ground. He trained and raised up a school of prophets. It was he who anointed both Saul and David to be king.

The Lord is looking for men who are strong and very courageous, like Joshua and Caleb; like Daniel, who survived the Lion's den. He's raising up apostles like the apostle Paul who healed the sick and raised the dead. He was beaten, stoned and shipwrecked but continued to preach Jesus' death, burial, resurrection and salvation.
The eyes of the LORD run to and fro, throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are loyal to Him. They are the people who are not seeking self-promotion, nor do they want to gain recognition for themselves, but they know that promotion comes from the Lord.
There are some men who have been running from the calling of God on their lives. Jonah intentionally got on a ship in Jaffa that was headed to Tarshish, which (geographically) was in the opposite direction of where the Lord told him to go. As he walked out of God's will, he not only put his own life in jeopardy, but also the men in the boat, as well as the people in Nineveh.
The Lord wants to use men today to bring repentance, revival and restoration to our cities. He is not a God of judgment but the God of mercy and wants to deliver people from their wicked ways.
Many of you are fatigued and war weary, but the Holy Spirit is sending out a divine invitation to the men, saying, "Come up here." There is a door standing open in Heaven calling you to a higher place. It's a safe place. It's a place of encounters where you will be beyond reach of your adversary. He wants to visit you in ways that will astound you. He is about to bring a refreshing and revival to this nation, and He wants to anoint and appoint radical men who are willing to say yes to His call.
"After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in Heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, 'Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.'" (Revelation 4:1)
