Cheryl Amabile with Lou Engle: "Let's Dream and Pray Together: The End of Roe v. Wade"

Dear Friends,

Before you read today's fresh revelation concerning the Supreme Court's pending abortion case, I want to take a moment to share my heart. I'm writing to you as those with whom we can entrust our streams of prophetic dreams and prayer directives, knowing that you are a highly esteemed company who will labor together with us in prayer to change history. Thank you!

The pen, in many ways, is more powerful than the preach. The spoken word can quickly pass through our minds like shooting stars – here today and gone tomorrow. But the penned and printed page allows the reader an indefinite gestation period to ponder and meditate on the prophecy until it becomes like fire in the bones, producing passion and prayer.

While reading The Briefing recently, I was so taken by its content, conciseness and clarity. I found myself burning to run, to pray, to believe. I immediately called Cheryl, exclaiming that we must release The Briefing to tens of thousands of intercessors who will read and run with us in prayer. And that is precisely what we want to do. I am asking you to become a partner of our covenantal company. Help us fund this vision and pray each Briefing into being.

Just after the 21st day of our Passover fast, a man named Daniel in Washington, DC had a significant dream. Daniel is on staff with the Justice House of Prayer on Capitol Hill. It's worth noting that Daniel of the Bible also had a breakthrough after 21 days of fasting. In Daniel chapter 10, we read of an angel appearing to the prophet, carrying a message, and reporting of a victory in the heavenly realms of warfare. It seems that the recent dream of Daniel's (in DC) also hints at a victory in the heavens:

I dreamed we were standing on the sidewalk outside the Supreme Court. We were no longer wearing LIFE tape, as it seemed we had finished praying. At some point, we walked north to a different building close by in the area between the Court and the Senate offices. This building had tall, elevated steps and seemed to be in the shape of a square rather than a rectangle. Standing on the steps, I said, "There really is a higher court!" I knew that this court was superior to the Supreme Court. While we stood there, a piece of white paper traveled in the air from the Supreme Court all the way to the higher court. It was steadily moving up the stairs and passing right through us into the courtroom.

Life Will Win Over Death!

A few days later, Matt Lockett, executive director of the Justice House of Prayer and Bound4Life International, suggested to his team that they "do the dream." So, they gathered on the sidewalk outside the Supreme Court and then walked north together, asking Dan to show them exactly where they were positioned outside the "higher court" in the dream. He led them to a spot in front of what is presently the United Methodist building – the only non-governmental building on Capitol Hill. Amazingly, they found themselves standing in front of the building's large marquee that read, "LIFE WILL WIN OVER DEATH." (Photo of Matt Lockett)

Matt told us they have seen thousands of statements posted on that marquee over the years and most of them were of a political and progressive nature. He and his team were mutually surprised by these significant words posted at this time. The group went on to pray and prophesy as they stood there awhile, declaring that life will win over the Dobbs abortion case, over Roe v. Wade, and ultimately over abortion itself.

The Passover Table

Just as they were finishing their time of prayer, a delegation of hundreds of Jews and rabbis passed right through where they were standing. They were part of an international group that had gathered in DC to honor the birthday of the late Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, who called all of Jewry to sit together at the Passover table. We processed this dream and remarkable series of events with Matt and his team, noting how the marquee was a literal "sign" that abortion will end. Also, the delegation of Jews seemed to be another sign connected to our Passover fast and the reality that the battle for life starts and ends at the Passover table. Like the communion table, the Passover Seder is where the Lamb of God and His Blood that was shed for our redemption is displayed before all the powers of Heaven and Hell. Truly the Lord has set a table before us in the presence of our enemies.

The "White Paper" of 1973

The question we were still asking about Daniel's dream concerned the meaning of the white paper. Then, it occurred to us that this white paper represented Justice Byron White's "paper" back in 1973 (see The Briefing 003 – Erase the Influence). Justice White wrote the minority dissent in the case of Roe v. Wade. He strongly disagreed with the majority decision, arguing that nowhere in the Constitution does it support a right to abortion. White's dissent also brought to mind Justice McLean's dissent in the Dred Scott v. Sandford decision of 1857. Justice McLean was one of only two justices who opposed the majority opinion of the Court when they ruled that "negros," who were once slaves or descendants of slaves, were property and not "people or citizens" of the State. Eventually, Justice McLean's dissent was reflected in the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution, overturning one of the worst decisions ever rendered by the Supreme Court. Now, in the Court's majestic halls, there hangs a plaque beneath Justice John McLean's portrait which states: "Sometimes a dissent, such as McLean's in Dred Scott v. Sanford (1857), reflects a minority position that will one day become the law of the land." May the same soon be said of Byron White.

As the dream suggests, we believe that White's dissent has come before the Judge of the earth in the higher court. We are now praying that the key points of White's paper will be represented in the majority opinion of the Dobbs case to effectively overturn Roe v. Wade.

It Is Finished – We Will See the End of Roe v. Wade

The same week as Daniel's dream in Washington, DC, we received another dream that Therese Engle had been given from a trusted prophetic woman in Washington state. She originally had the dream on 2/2/22:

I saw Lou Engle standing in front of the Supreme Court with a piece of LIFE tape on his mouth. I was told to go and meet him. As I did, I removed the tape from his mouth and said, "Lou, it's the decade of the pey and our strategy is different." Then, I got another piece of red tape and wrote on it, "It is finished." I placed this tape on Lou's forehead. Suddenly, men and women of all ages began to join us from all over with the words "It is finished" taped on their foreheads. They soon became a multitude of people as far as the eye could see. Then I looked at Lou with a smile and said, "We will see the end of Roe v. Wade." (Photo of Lou Engle)

This dream blew us away. The Hebrew letter "pey" means mouth, and it's the 17th letter of the alphabet. We've had intercessors wearing LIFE tape on their mouths in front of the Supreme Court for the past 17 years. Also in that time frame, hundreds of thousands of LIFE bands have been worn across the country with people praying, "Jesus, I plead Your Blood over my sins and the sins of my nation. God, end abortion and send revival to America."

In light of these two confirming dreams, Lou is charging us with this exhortation: "It's time to open our mouths and declare, 'It is finished!' When Jesus cried 'It is finished,' on the Cross, it was the gavel slamming down in the high court of Heaven, declaring the verdict against powers and principalities. So too, our 'It is finished' is executing the judgment written in Heaven against Roe. The testimony of the blood of 17 years has overcome the accusation of 60 million babies!"

"...the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favor of the holy people of the Most High, and the time came when they possessed the Kingdom." (Daniel 7:22)
