Amber is one of those rare Believers who is not looking to make a name for herself but is truly interested in advancing the Kingdom while helping others and exalting Christ.

Discovering His Heart
Recently, I was reflecting with the Lord on the intense season of testing and pruning He has led His Church through on such a wide scale. Many of us have responded with the beautiful "yes" of surrender, allowing the Lord to transform us in ways we know are somehow connected to the season, yet are simultaneously beyond understanding.
The Lord spoke to my heart: "I have led many into the wilderness this past season. They did not know why I led them there, and if I had told them ahead of time, it would have canceled the blessing I sent them there to find."
I asked Him what this precious treasure was that He had sent us in search of, and I loved His answer: "My heart."
The Lord went on: "I entrust the depths of My heart to those willing to give me theirs. Deep calls out to deep at the sound of the rushing water that only I can bring in the middle of a desert. Some things are found only in the desert, away from the noise.
"My heart is the greatest treasure I can share, and I reserve it for those willing to give it all—willing to walk through the darkest valleys and most desolate places just to be with Me. The new wine flows out of My heart, and I pour it on those who have allowed Me to make them into vessels that are able to hold the deep and glorious treasures of My heart." (Photo via Unsplash)
The wilderness is the place of revealing. It is where God shows Himself as provider, shepherd, healer, and friend. To those who have endured this season well, surrendering fully to His process, be encouraged that your reward is the greatest treasure you can receive: discovering the heart of God.
Transition - from the Wilderness to the Promised Land
I believe we are in a moment of transition. The Lord led His people into the wilderness for a season, but now the remnant is "coming up from the wilderness, leaning on her beloved" (see Song of Solomon 8:5).
Individually, we may be at slightly different stages of our wilderness-emerging process. A few months ago, I had a prophetic dream in which I was standing on one side of a river. I saw someone on the other side who represented the first mission the Lord is sending me to as I step into the fullness of my call.
The Lord also revealed to me that the river was the Jordan River, and that I had come through the wilderness. Now I only had the crossing of the Jordan before stepping into my promised land with the fullness of my anointing, and Holy Spirit favor and power to accompany the God-ordained assignments and heavenly blessings on the other side. I had only to cross the Jordan before I could start claiming my rightful territory and advancing the Kingdom in the promised land designed specifically for me, on the other side of my particular wilderness.
I believe we each have a wilderness and we each have a promised land. Right now some of us are in the middle of the Jordan; many of us are just a few steps away from the shore on the other side. Then there are some that may just be emerging from the desert with their toes in the water, ready to start the river-crossing process. For those who are at this moment, I want to encourage you because I know what that moment feels like. It can feel like the whole world is crashing in and that the wilderness will never end. It can be hard to see through the desert sand and feel that splash of water that is starting to touch your toes, announcing the coming transition.
For those in the middle of this difficult moment, where you know transition is coming but it feels like it will never come, I believe your Jordan crossing will be rapid. You will barely set foot in the water and, without knowing how it happened, suddenly find yourself stepping onto the shore on the other side. Don't let your feelings block your prophetic view. The time is now. Feel the water on your toes and take that first step into the river. Watch the God (who has felt silent and distant to you at the peak of your wilderness) come in with all the "suddenlies" of your Jordan-River crossing and accelerate you into your promised land in a way you never imagined possible.
Things will start happening so fast, and you might wonder if you are prepared for this level of blessing and power. Know that you are ready. God didn't bring you to the Jordan too soon. This is your moment, and the world has been waiting for you to emerge in the fullness of who God created you to be. Don't hold back.
The season of hiding in the wilderness with your Beloved was a season of stripping and refining, but now you will see the beautiful things He placed inside of you that you were not aware of. You may not see all the treasures He placed inside you until you find yourself in a situation that calls for them, and then you will watch in amazement as the treasures of His Spirit flow out of you.
The Lord is about to unleash His Church, the beautiful remnant Bride who has been refined and defined by her wilderness and is ready to reveal the glory of her Beloved for the world to see.
