This is a very encouraging word from Naomi Byers of Australia as she shares from a recent dream she had:
God is training our hands for war in this new decade...no doubt about it. With that, I'll let you read the rest if this word. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Dear Friend,
No matter what you are walking through today, His promise is sure. He will bring you through it.
This encouragement begins: On December 21, 2021, I awoke from a dream where I was crossing a turbulent sea that was on fire. As I passed through this sea, I realized I was completely unharmed. This was certainly a very encouraging dream for me, personally, but may also encourage you in your present season. (Photo via Pixabay)
Here is the interpretation and encouragement the Lord gave me. I feel the Father is highlighting our ability to endure trials and hardships. The fire could represent a number of things:
1. Purification and Purging
First, I believe the fire on the water is a form of purification and purging.
"Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: 'Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.'" (Isaiah 6:6-7 NKJV)
In Christ, our sins are removed but we need to be mindful to steward our God-given righteousness and holiness. This is definitely a season for consecration as He is doing a deep work of healing from the inside out. We should be encouraged to continue to yield to this purging and purification.
2. Refiner's Fire
Second, I believe these trials and afflictions we are passing through are to refine our character. We will need to be resolute for the days ahead.
"Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ's sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy." (1 Peter 4:12-13 NKJV)
We shouldn't fear the testing. It is a promise of greater glory. Let's be committed to joyfulness in the trial.
3. Promises Fulfilled
Third, these trials will bring about a rich fulfillment of His promises from within us. They have been sealed up to be released and birthed in His perfect timing.
"You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through the fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment." (Psalm 66:12 NKJV) (Photo via Pixabay)
4. We Are Victorious No Matter What!
Finally, the promise is that no matter what, we are coming out of this unharmed and victorious.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you." (Isaiah 43:2 NKJV)
Hallelujah! Thank You, Jesus.
I pray this brief encouragement lifts your spirits during these uncertain times. He is working in the mess, and His promise is that we will come through the trial unharmed and triumphant. So don't give up... surrender!
