Many people are probably going to read this title and think that this post is going to be about tongues. While tongues is an evidence of the presence of God in a person's life, the real language of Heaven isn't tongues—IT'S LOVE!
Love isn't something that is just spoken or declared; it is something that's tangible and carries the substance of God with it. I cannot count how many people who've described to me what it was like the first time they encountered the Lord, for it wasn't just an experience to them; it was, as described by many, as if they had been wrapped up in a blanket of love itself!
My Experience in Heaven
If you were to go to Heaven right now and experience it for yourself, what do you think it would be like? While I cannot speak of the experiences of others, I can tell you about mine.
In my life, to date, the Lord has taken me to Heaven 3 times and allowed me to experience things there for myself. The atmosphere of Heaven, and even the wind itself, is charged with the love of God! Everything is alive, for there is no death there. But probably one of the most incredible things which impacted me was how people spoke there. (Photo via Rawpixel)
There's no doubt, no unbelief, no fear, no anger and no demonic influences there at all! So the dialogue which I heard going back and forth between individuals who were there reminded me of something which I had read in the Word:
"But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]." (Galatians 5:22-23)
The Speech of Heaven
While everyone has heard of the fruit of the Spirit, these characteristics seemed to be the driving force behind Heaven's dialogues! You see, the fruit of the Spirit is a direct result of what happens on the inside of a Believer's life, because of the presence of the Holy Spirit on the inside of them. From that fruit, the seeds of your speech change into the speech of Heaven.
Words are like divine currency in the Kingdom, because THE WORD (Jesus Christ) carries life with Him wherever He's spoken or declared! This is the reason why God wants us to become His oracles here, so that the atmosphere and speech of Heaven can invade the earth with the love (agape) of God!
"If I [can] speak in the tongues of men and [even] of angels, but have not love...I am only a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." (1 Corinthians 13:1)
Transforming Your Language
God wants to transform your language in this hour through supernatural encounters of His love! For God is not just going to teach you to love, He's going to transform you into LOVE HIMSELF, from the inside out!
"Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, BUT ONLY SUCH [SPEECH] AS IS GOOD AND BENEFICIAL TO THE SPIRITUAL PROGRESS OF OTHERS, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it." (Ephesians 4:29, emphasis added)
You and I were destined to become a place for the love of God to land, but also to be launched forth from, and it will emerge from your lips because of the abundance which God has placed inside of your heart!
"Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, FOR GOD'S LOVE HAS BEEN POURED OUT IN OUR HEARTS THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US." (Romans 5:5, emphasis added)
If you've never met Jesus Christ, then today is a good day to learn a new language, because the moment you meet Jesus is the moment you encounter Love Himself! GET TO KNOW LOVE AND WATCH YOUR SPEECH TRANSFORM!
