It certainly puts me more on "alert" to recognize the enemy's schemes that he tries to place in front of us.

Early one morning, recently, I was in a time of prayer in our sanctuary. As I was praying, the Lord gave me a simple vision. In the vision, I could see a "Road Closed" sign in the middle of a road. I looked past the sign so I could see the road beyond it, and the road looked perfectly fine.
This vision reminded me of something that happened to me when I was younger. I was driving one day and came across a "Road Closed" sign in the middle of a road I drove down all the time. I instinctively knew that this road was perfectly fine, and I was so close to where I was headed. So, I moved the sign, drove past it and made it to where I was going without any problems or delays. I later learned that a few troublemakers I knew had actually been putting these signs on roads that were perfectly fine as a joke. I believe this is a prophetic picture for so many in the Body of Christ in this hour!
Removing the False Roadblocks
Many of you have been going full throttle after God, after your dreams or after your destiny. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, you've recently encountered a spiritual "Road Closed" sign. This may look like a setback, a difficult situation, an unexpected disappointment or anything that has stopped you in your tracks. However, I believe that what the Lord is speaking through this vision is that this is a false sign!
The enemy has put a roadblock in your way to try to stop or delay you, but don't let him! It isn't real. Anything the enemy has thrown in your pathway can actually keep you from the destination God has for you. Move past those false signs and keep going after everything God has called you to do. If the enemy cannot stop you, he will do anything he can to slow you down. Don't allow the enemy to delay you or send you on a detour in this hour. Keep going! (Photo via Flickr)
I believe in this season many will move past these false signs of fear, uncertainty, insecurity or doubt and into exactly what God has for them. You will reach your destination; you just have to move past the fake roadblocks from the enemy.
Advancing the Way
When I had the incident with the road sign (when I was younger), I got out of my truck and moved the sign. I put my hands on it and moved it out of my way so that I could keep moving forward. Some of you will have to use the authority God has given you to move those false signs so that you can keep advancing.
Remember, God's plan for you is never just about you. Think about the many who could come behind you, who will be able to move forward because you got past the roadblock the enemy put in your way. You need to keep advancing so that others can also come after you and see the Kingdom of God advanced!
The Lord is looking for those who will be bold enough and to move past whatever the enemy throws in their pathway. God is looking for those who will listen to His voice more than the natural circumstances in front of them. Our eyes and circumstances will often deceive us. Don't look in the natural; look with your spiritual eyes and use discernment in this season.
Keep going and advance past the false "Road Closed" signs that the enemy has put in front of you!
