In October 2021, I had a dream encounter where I was in the house of the Lord. It was a huge house—massive in scale. What struck me so powerfully was the massive pillars, or columns, which overlooked a beautiful pool of still, clear water. I was in awe, breathless and overcome by them. I'd never seen any on Earth that came close to their size.
The Lord then revealed the significance of this, and why He showed it to me: these massive pillars represent His intercessors (specifically those who are 60 and above). If you've carried a burden in your heart over the years and have talked to your heavenly Father on behalf of your family, community or nation, then YOU are an intercessor and very important. You are literally holding up the house of the Lord. You are one of these massive pillars in the house of the Lord. I believe the Lord gave me this message for you!
The Father's Faithful Trees!
It is really interesting to hear how the Father describes us compared to how we really are. There is a difference between how things look and how they are, in Heaven and on Earth.
On a spiritual level, you're a tree!
The Father talks about His righteous ones being trees. On a symbolic level and also on the spiritual level, a tree (or pillar) is a leader, or a life-giving one; one with generational impact.
The Father gave me this Scripture as He showed me these massive pillars:
"The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the Lord, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, 'The Lord is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in Him.'" (Psalm 92:12-15, NIV)
The Father said, "My righteous ones are like a cedar of Lebanon, planted in the house of the Lord and bearing fruit in old age."
Faithful Trees: "You're Not Done Yet!"
There is a river that flows out of the throne of God; it flows out from under His throne and through the city. It's the river of life. The Holy Spirit (the Spirit of life) is the conduit for the water of life that flows from the Lord Jesus Christ into your spirit. He is bringing life within you. This is the Father's message for you:
"You're not done yet! You're not done yet!"
You are planted as a tree in His courts—a massive pillar in His house. You are holding up more things than you know on the earth as you partner with Him through your prayers and spend time with Him. He needs you on Earth at this time in history to bridge the gap. (Photo via Unsplash)
These Are Not Just Your Thoughts
This is what the Lord showed me: God's ancient enemy has targeted your age group (those 60 and above). But do not fear. The enemy has targeted plans for each age group, yet so does the Father! That ancient enemy tried to remove your age group from the earth through sickness and trials; he tried to take the legs out from under you to make you feel like there is no point. But God! He has another plan.
Here is the reason why I am saying this to you: These negative thoughts you've been thinking are not just your thoughts; whether they are your aches, your pains or your sorrows over friends or family members being in Heaven while you are here on Earth (where things aren't looking so good), these are not just your thoughts. These are lying voices that have been on a mission to isolate you and get you to agree with them in your thoughts and give up.
But, in the name of the Lord Jesus, I'm standing and agreeing with you today that you're not going to do that! I encourage you to agree with what the Father is saying over you. He is saying that you are a massive pillar in His house, both in Heaven and on Earth at the same time. He needs you to remain on Earth to complete your purpose, which is a generational purpose. What you are doing is making an impact! Many thoughts you've been having are not your own thoughts.
Choose the Spirit of Life!
I have a dear friend who got sick and struggled for her life for several days in the hospital. Three different times, while she was there, I heard these words: "She is dead." and my heart sank. But I spoke these words: "Lord, heal her!" Thank You, Lord, for helping me respond right! When she returned home, she told me she'd been in this battle for her life with the spirit of death... that same spirit which came to me and tried to get my agreement to take her out.
Fruitful and Impactful
While my friend was going through this battle in the hospital, I felt the difference without her prayers. Her prayers are making a huge impact, and so are yours! You are so important, dear friends! You may not be hearing how important you are every day, or how much of an impact you're making, so our heavenly Father sent me to tell you this:
You are so important. You are making a massive impact! His word over you is life and blessing. He is acknowledging your importance and impact.
I saw the massive pillars, which are YOU, in His house. I was in awe of these pillars, and that is unusual for me, as I have experience and a history with pillars from growing up with my dad in construction. Yet, these were unlike any I'd ever seen.
In Psalm 92, the Father is speaking about our senior years as still being fruitful. The apostle Paul said this: "For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day" (2 Corinthians 4:16, KJV). Yes, on physical level we may not be like we were in our 20s or 30s—but we might be! One of His covenant promises in Psalm 103 is youth renewal. So, we must embrace that we will age at the rate our heavenly Father has ordained for us, and STILL retain our abilities and fruitfulness, rather than accepting all kinds of cultural 'old age' agreements.
The enemy uses agreements, judgments and curses to steal, kill and destroy on any level possible. These things are at large right now, and on a personal level. If you personally, however, refuse to agree with thoughts such as these: "I'm too old, I'm not relevant, etc.," then that will be a shield and protection for you against those agreements and judgments at large. If you realize you have agreed with thoughts such as these, then just repent.
Youth Renewal
Remember, your heavenly Father has plans, too! Praise God! He renews your youth like the eagle's and satisfies your years with good things! (Photo via Piqsels)
I speak His words of life over you right now:
"Your Father is satisfying your years with good things! He is satisfying your years with good things because you are His covenant son and daughter!"
Amazing Trees in the House of the Lord
Those cedars of Lebanon (from Psalm 92) were massive. They could grow up to 130 feet in height. They are extremely resistant to the cold, which meant that they could handle deprivation. Your generation is like these cedar trees. No one can handle deprivation like the senior generation! You know how to abound and how to go without. I haven't seen anyone do it as well as your generation.
Both David and Solomon received cedars of Lebanon from King Hiram. Solomon had them cut and shipped to ports in Israel for the purpose of building the physical house of the Lord. When our heavenly Father talked about trees in Psalm 92 (which represent you—in Heaven and on Earth), He focused on the cedar of Lebanon. This was the exact tree used to make pillars for His temple on this earth. That's what you are. You are holding up the Body of Christ and the generations. You are massive.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I declare: your view of yourself is changing, right now! You are seeing yourself from His perspective (the only true perspective) and coming into agreement with that!
Your Declaration
Speak this truth out loud:
"I am massive—not in my own abilities, but in the righteousness that's in me (through Christ) and in the thousands of faithful choices I've made. I am a massive pillar in the house of the Lord. I'm making a massive impact! My days matter. I will live and not die. My years will be satisfied with good things. I will finish my race with grace! Amen."
My Prayer for You
Father, thank You for these faithful ones, Your massive pillars! Father, You know they've been going through battles and that their energy, life and hope have been depleted. Father, I ask for life—YOUR LIFE—that is flowing through them and restoring them! Cause Your water to flow through them, renewing their strength and life. Cause Your glory to flow through their spirits, souls and bodies; into those places where their cells haven't been communicating well; where there's been oxygen deprivation and hope depletion.
Father, send Your Holy Spirit to unblock areas in their lives that have been blocked. Fill them up to overflowing with Your life, light, love and hope. Give them back so much more than sevenfold in the areas where they've been affected; whether it is in their hope, energy, purpose, grace, relationships, health or wealth. Give them wholeness and fullness so that they can accomplish what You want done in and through their lives, Father—on Earth as it is in Heaven. In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, amen.
