The Prophetic Significance of 2021

Dear Elijah List,

At the end of 2020 I spent a week seeking the Lord about what He has in store for 2021.

I rested from work.

I took long walks on the beach.

I set aside time each day, to be in a quiet spot and listen.

Here's a little preview of what I heard the Spirit of God say...

"In 2021 THE RISERS WILL RISE!"

Those who were bowed over and "broken" will rise.

Those with dead dreams will be resurrected.

Those who, like the Apostle Paul, were "left for dead" (by friends, family or spouses who betrayed or forsook them)... will rise again!

Failed businesses (and the dreams that disintegrated with them) due to Covid, will rise again with the vehemence of a virus intensified.

Viruses such as the coronavirus change over time... Once the virus makes contact with a host, it starts to make new copies of itself that can go on to infect other cells.

The Lord showed me that it is this same process that creates superheroes out of ordinary people who have experienced extraordinary loss.

They become radical reformers.

They turn loss into gain by rescuing others in the midst of similar pain.

They reemerge with a new mission, mandate and mantle."

In short, what I heard during that week of listening was really good news, and much of it has already begun to happen in the first half of 2021.

But as it happens any time God speaks...

Many will miss it.

Many will stumble all the way through 2021 too distressed and distracted to notice what God is doing... or to hear what He is saying.

And so many will miss out on the joy of getting to partner with Him in His wonderful work. They will be focused on building their own kingdoms... but will miss out on the greater work of building HIS Kingdom.

This is why I think it is so important to spend time right now listening. Waiting. Watching.

And this is why I am devoting a portion of Kingdom Builders Live to talk not about MY plans... or YOUR plans... but GOD'S plans for 2021.

I cannot wait to tell you more about what I heard about 2021.
