 Jay West is a mature, accurate, and trustworthy voice for the Lord, whom I've known for many years.
One very crucial part of his revelation from the Lord says this below:
"The new favor will be unprecedented, with power that is substantially beyond what you have previously experienced; but you must contend for it with unsurpassed and preeminent obedience. Mere, casual obedience will negate the opportunity and thus eliminate the possibility for the miraculous."
I believe that by "casual" obedience, what Jay is meaning is that sometimes we might obey when we are "in the mood" or feeling "up for it."
This reminds me of a story that is only a few months old...
A pastor I respect on the radio was saying that if the Lord gives you something important to do, you should never insist, "Lord, I'm not qualified. But can I give it to someone else to do if that's OK with You?"
If we tell God that HE IS WRONG when HE says we ARE qualified, that is closer to casual obedience, like saying, "Maybe I'll obey, Lord, I'm not sure. I need to learn more."
Unsurpassed, preeminent obedience, on the other hand, sounds like this: "Lord, I'm not sure what You're about to ask me to do but before You ask it, my answer is 'YES.'"
Then when God asks you, you already have your "yes" as a done deal!

"New Kingdom Dimensions of Favor and Flavor"

Recently in prayer I heard the Lord say, "There is new favor coming and a new flavor coming. And there is expanded favor and expanded flavors coming." This is for those who walk in radical obedience with an overflow of love for the Kingdom of God.
The new favor will be unprecedented, with power that is substantially beyond what you have previously experienced; but you must contend for it with unsurpassed and preeminent obedience. Mere, casual obedience will negate the opportunity and thus eliminate the possibility for the miraculous.
New Kingdom Dimensions
The new flavors add in new Kingdom dimensions and qualities that have previously only been wished for. The flavors will appear like a blend of other gifts and callings that you have longed for, or perhaps have never even thought of...and yet the Lord wants to add these new flavors to apprehend hearts and see darkness recede.
The flavors will create hunger in you and add value and new authenticity to your ministry. What worked for you in the past with your style, behavior, favorite patterns and verses will now be replaced with a new wind, a fresh voice, an invigorating invitation and heavenly aromas, with distinct, life-sustaining discernment and wisdom that manifests differently from the past.
 Healings will come quicker. Accurate prophetic words will be ratified and accompanied with natural confirmations such as weather, financial blessings, and additional, new, fresh connections and alliances that previously were thought to be impossible. (Photo via Pixabay)
Words of knowledge will flow rapidly with pinpoint accuracy that shakes people to their core, as they realize the God of Heaven just paid them a personal visit. Interpretations of dreams and visions will become a flavor that previously only a few had access to. Prophecy and visions will manifest quickly to confirm what God is sharing and/or has already spoken.
These flavors, with the companion of favor, will provide unleashed avenues for the Spirit to gain access, with comfort that produces Kingdom anointing and sanctions light, while endorsing Kingdom realities. These will then activate Kingdom jurisdiction, drawing more to Jesus through testimonies, power evangelism and normal Christianity.
Expand and Advance!
New, expanded boundaries will be created, while spheres of influence are greatly enhanced. Previous limitations will seem easy to access. What was normal in the past will now be replaced with the "new normal," with advancements of favor and flavors that exhibit and display the passion, power and persuasion of the Lord to be received by all who are in the area. Rather than just one person receiving ministry, anyone close to the "splash zone" will be touched by the overflow.
This will be a significant advancement, but will be reserved for those who literally practice the essential responses similar to a first responder. It is not for the faint of heart or those who want to analyze and nitpick, try to discern what is happening. Rather, it is for those who will just respond with a resounding "yes" to the Lord's promptings, without any thought of personal opinions by others.
Advancing the Kingdom with power, through favor with new added flavors, will be enticing to those who have longed for a touch from God, but have often been disappointed by normal religious practices. This is truly a part of that which was prophesied by Joel.
