Be part of a 3,000-Year-old Prophecy

"I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them." – Amos 9:14

Today is the day in history when Israel declared statehood in 1948. As hundreds packed into the tiny room in the Tel Aviv Art Museum, David Ben-Gurion stood up (RIGHT) and said, "Placing our trust in the 'Rock of Israel,' we affix our signatures to this proclamation...(to) declare the establishment of the Jewish State in Eretz-Israel, to be known as the State of Israel."

At that moment, a 3,000-year-old prophecy was activated.

In the 8th century B.C., Amos, a sheepherder and fig farmer in the Judean wilderness, declared God's promise: "I will bring back the captives of My people Israel." In that small room in Tel Aviv in 1948, that prophecy came to pass, and there is still more of this prophecy unfolding today!

The prophecy goes on to say that they will "make gardens and eat fruit from them."

Miraculously, though it was originally large swaths of desert, Israel has become the breadbasket of the Middle East - but in the last year, a crisis has erupted.

With the COVID-19 pandemic and accompanying lockdowns and quarantines, so many families have found themselves struggling to survive.

According to a recent study by the Washington University in St. Louis, up to 30% of Israeli families with children (infant – 14 years old) reported that they were unable to afford an adequate amount or quality of food for their family.
