I embarrassed a woman during lunch (B)

Hey there,

The other day, I overheard 2 friends talking over lunch.

Yeah, I know... I shouldn't eavesdrop, but I can't control how loud some people talk.

Anyway...

So I'm sitting outside, just a few feet away from their table...

And one of the women, with lettuce still in her mouth, said to her friend...

"I'm pretty sure I'm broken. I don't know the last time I had carbs but for some reason, I'm not losing weight."

It took everything in me to hold back, but I just couldn't.

I lean my chair back and lock eyes with the woman...

Now, she still has lettuce filling up her mouth so it was a pretty awkward glance...

But I yelled out "I know why you aren't losing weight! I can help you!"

You can imagine the awkward silence that followed...

"You can eat carbs and still lose weight," I said...

Her eyes squinted and tilted to the left...

She had no idea what I was talking about.
