I have known Ray and Renaid Almgren for many years and have ministered with them as our hearts were knit together. To me they are God's transmission specialists. I see the Lord using them to install a new transmission with upgraded gears into the Body of Christ so all five gears (the apostle, prophet, pastor, teacher and evangelist) can corporately shift together in God's synchronized timing. Ray and Renaid have a global heart that discerns the heartbeat of nations. (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

We are in a time when God is resetting us in preparation for what He is planning in this year of 2021. This includes the Body of Christ as a whole. According to Merriam-Webster, "reset" means "to set again or anew." Other words for "reset" are reevaluate, change, reassess, adjust, reappraise. When your computer or phone is not working right you reset or reboot it; you shut it down to restart and get it working again. God did the same thing in the time of Noah; He reset things by flooding the earth, but promised He would never do so again. Even after the flood, God's original plans for man never changed from being fruitful, multiplying, and having dominion on the earth. God is resetting the order of things in preparation of His Kingdom being established and for what He is going to do this year.
Recently, while seeking the Lord in preparation to speak as a guest on a Zoom church meeting, I saw a vision of the Body of Christ in a cocoon. I saw the Church fighting and warring, struggling to get out of the cocoon. Inside the cocoon there was intense activity – a reforming, resetting, restructuring, rearranging, renewing, and massive change. The vision of the cocoon was confirmed by one of the pastors who said several others in their sphere had seen the same thing.
As I was praying and asking God how to prepare for the reset, He said "Ephesians 6:10-18" is how we prepare. The first sentence in Ephesians 6:10 (NKJV) says, "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might."
Check Your Connection
The Lord then reminded me that we need to check our connection with Him to see if our strength is in Him alone. Are we holding on to God above all else? Is our connection weak or strong? (Photo via Unsplash)
Our daughter recently built and moved into a beautiful new house, but her internet connection goes in and out. When we talk on the phone, I miss words when she is speaking. I must ask her to repeat things all the time. If our connection with God is weak, we do not hear everything He wants to say to us. We do not always hear what He says correctly. If our signal is weak and we are not strongly connected, our timing is off, and we are not in cadence with Him. Our decision making becomes difficult and we don't see things clearly in our life because our relationship with Him is not strong; we cannot feel the power of His might.
When we are fully connected to Him our character and image become like His. We respond to people better and have a good attitude, with great hope for the future. Our outlook on life is positive and is reflected in our demeanor.
Put on the Full Armor of God
Ephesians 6:11 tells us to stand against all that the devil throws at us, knowing God's strength and power is above anything the devil can do. Plus, God gives us specific armor to use to protect ourselves from our enemy. He calls us to stand in faith in His strength and power: "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (NKJV).
"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod (fitted) your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God." (Ephesians 6:13-17 NKJV, emphasis added).
Walking in truth, righteousness, and peace are important attributes that in the long run protect us in God's eyes. But most importantly, we see here that our faith is a protective shield against all that comes at us. Our faith protects us from the extreme harm the enemy wants to bring upon us. We see in this passage that we carry a sword, which we are to war with...the Word of God.
Ephesians 6:12 explains that what is attacking us is not from the natural realm but from the spiritual realm. This verse describes the demonic order or hierarchy. The devil has a network of forces working against us, but God tells us what to do by putting on His whole armor. Also, understanding the root of what is working against us helps us to stand strong in God's strength. He has provided His armor to protect us from all the "fiery darts" of the enemy. Pray in the Spirit
Praying in the Spirit is preparation for what is ahead. We are building ourselves up in our most holy faith, praying in a language that is only between us and God. Personally, I find, when I pray in tongues, I get revelation and understanding which really prepares me for what is to come. Praying in the Spirit always sets me on the right course and in the right direction. When we pray in the Spirit it is a perfect prayer and is extremely effective when we do not know what or how to pray.
Don't Get Frustrated! He Is Preparing You for Something Big
To conclude, it is important that we don't get frustrated with the way things are around us but understand that we are in a time when our personal lives and the Body of Christ are in a reset. God is resetting us so that we are fully prepared for what is to come. It is not a time to allow yourself to wander away from God and His Word, because what is coming is so big. God wants you to prosper and be fully connected to Him so you can be a part of all He is doing on the face of the earth.
