Derene and I will be flying to Nigeria to speak at this conference in January and the personal invitation of Rev. Mosy U. Madugba.

As you can read below, the invitation is to speak to some 15,000 participants, leaders from all over Africa and all over the World.

Derene and I don't understand fully THE CALL on our lives at this time to go to Nigeria in January, but we are confident that the Lord understands our Call. As a result of our desire to bless Africa. We have agreed to help them by raising our own support to travel to Nigeria to speak to the leaders.

America is a prosperous nation! (we hear about it every day television) -- We are in the most prosperous time in generations. If there is a good time to go, this must be it. That is why now is a good time to ask for your help with the costs of this trip. In helping us, you are partnering with GOD for the future of Nigeria and Africa. If, during this time of great prosperity we do not donate toward missions (ANY missions, not just our cause), the question is, with all our prosperity, when WILL we EVER have a better time to donate to missions?

And by the way, did you know that Nigeria is experiencing one of the greatest revivals the world has ever seen right now? Some are even predicting that the entire nation of Nigeria may be evangelized for Christ within 10 years.

Calvary greetings!

As a careful observer of the prophetic times and seasons of God, you would have noticed the new divine and global focus on Africa. The numerous fierce political and spiritual battles fought within this continent are not unconnected to satanic foresight and desperate aggressive efforts to incapacitate her and make it impossible for her to play her role in this season. But the kingdom of darkness can only go as far as God allows it. Africa's time of recovery and leadership has arrived. God spoke to Habakkuk "For the vision is yet for an appointed time.though it tarries, wait for it, because it will surely come." (Habakkuk 2:3). Now it has come! We still have men like Daniel of old who can read and interpret divine handwriting, who understand prophetic periods and divine seasons. They shall be coming from all over the world to help Africa understand her role at this time at Africa 2001 and give her the mandate to carry out that role.

If we do not understand where we are in God's calendar, the role we are supposed to play, how to get about it, we would be very busy doing what may not be very relevant to what the Lord wants from us now.

Africa 2001 is a prayer time schedule for Africa to excel. You have a place in what God has to do in this season, in this continent and subsequently in the entire world. Come and discover it so you can run with certainty. The Ministers Prayer Network is a global network of men and women who serve God in leadership positions, and seek for the transformation of wherever they come from through prayer, the word of God, and exemplary godly leadership. They are coming to Nigeria for Africa.

Venue: Alfred Diete Spiff Sports Complex (Civic Centre), Moscow Road, P.H Dates: Sunday January 7 - Friday January 12, 2001 Time: 3.00pm on Sunday 7/01/2001 and 8.00am every other day Registration is N500.00. Dormitory Accommodation N500 for six days (Sunday-Friday). Hotel accommodation ranges from N800.00 per night to N8, 000.00 per night. Hotel list will be supplied to you on arrival or available at all registration locations all over the country. Call 084-233669, 237778 or 237779 to get your nearest registration location.

If you know anybody in Port Harcourt, let him/her help you arrange accommodation on time. It can be quite tight during conference time. We are expecting over 15,000 participants. So arrange your hotel bookings well ahead of time.

"Now as He drew near, He saw the city and wept over it, saying, "if you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes because you did not know the time of your visitation" (Luke 19:41-42).

God will not weep over Africa in our day, and we shall not miss our time of visitation in Jesus' name. Until January 7, remain strong at your prayer post.

I also wanted people to read a note from Rev Mosy Madugba who is putting on this prophetic leadership conference in Nigeria. I am often tempted to apologize that this list has been more United States-centered. Probably 75% of the readers ARE from the U.S. However, it's easy to lose site of the fact that much of the world is looking to the U.S. for some type of servant-leadership.

Here is what Rev. Madugba from Africa wrote to me:

I completely agree with Dutch Sheets. Truly, a lot of global forces of darkness have allied with strange imported evil forces in USA to hand over to the devil that nation by planting their candidate.

The church in America is asleep over this issue. I mean the majority of the members of the body of Christ. Some are confused as to what direction to pray. The future of the entire world is at stake in this election. So, it is not only churches in America that should pray. Let the body of Christ worldwide cry aloud unto God until He rises to wrestle with the enemy forces and give all of us the victory in this election on Tuesday.
