Travis Holland: "2021: A Year of God's 'Yes and Amen!'"

Travis Holland
Dec 28, 2020

From the Desk of Steve Shultz:

Steve ShultzIt's a true statement that we will never get to Heaven because of any works we do. It just doesn't work that way.

But our LIFE will be much better, in the here and now, when the work we do is to – BELIEVE GOD and resist fear.

John 6:28-29, "Then they asked Him, 'What must we do to do the works God requires?' Jesus answered, 'The work of God is this: to believe in the one He has sent.'"

God always has and always will – seek to grow our belief, our faith, our trust and our boldness. And God seeks to rid us of fear, altogether!

This Word of the Lord is about ALL OF THAT. God is saying that He is after all of these in 2021!

It's going to be a GREAT YEAR!!! (To Subscribe to the Elijah List subscribe here.)

Enjoy!

Steve

"2021: A Year of God's 'Yes and Amen!'"

Travis Holland, Clarksville Tennessee

I hear the Lord saying, "No matter the storms you face, My promises over you are 'Yes and Amen.' No matter the problems you've encountered, My Promises speak louder, 'YES and AMEN.'"

"Now you understand that I have imparted to you all My authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power satan possesses. Nothing will be able to harm you as you walk in this authority. However, your real source of joy isn't merely that these spirits submit to your authority, but that your names are written in the journals of Heaven and that you belong to God's Kingdom. This is the true source of your authority." (Luke 10:19-20 TPT)

The Righteous Are as Bold as Lions

The season is upon us on where we get to choose whether we will stare at the giants in the land or rise up in the promises of God, just like Joshua and Caleb, and say, "We will make these giants our bread." We will not give in to the noise of the people, for the promises of God speak louder than what the world claims are the problem.

Joshua and Caleb saw the giants with their own eyes. They had every opportunity to grab fear instead of faith. They could have easily let the 10 men they went with speak and then say nothing in reply. They could have said to themselves that these people will not listen to us because the majority is listening to fear and will not give ear to what the Lord is saying. No, they rose up as boldly as lions and spoke the promises of God over the people.

"...Don't be afraid of the people (giants) of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don't be afraid of them!" (Numbers 14:9 NLT emphasis mine)

"I promise you what I promised Moses: 'Wherever you set foot, you will be on land I have given you... No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. For I will be with you as I was with Moses. I will not fail you or abandon you. Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them.'" (Joshua 1:3, 5-6 NLT) (Photo via Flickr)

There is once again a boldness arising in the men and women that no longer desire to be complacent. This is a covenant boldness that believes God's promises are more real than the air that they breathe. This is the same boldness that King David had when he came to bring his brothers some food on the battlefield. David found the Covenant Army of Israel hiding in fear from the Philistines. When he heard Goliath declare and scoff at God's people by saying, "I defy the armies of Israel this day," David's immediate response was, "...Who is this uncircumcised (one without covenant) Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?" (1 Samuel 17:26 NKJV emphasis mine).

Arise in Covenant Boldness

David knew this land was the promise of God. He knew God was greater than any army or perverted government that came against God's people to put them in a place of fear. Covenant boldness arose within David, knowing that God would deliver His people once again. 2021 is a year that we need to arise and shine because God's promises are "Yes and Amen."

There is no retreating in the Kingdom; there is only pressing into everything He has promised you. He has paved the way by His Blood for you to walk and run into the fullness that He has called you to!

"I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus. So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion." (Philippians 3:14-16 TPT)

Resurrecting Promises and Dreams

The resurrected King is resurrecting your dreams and your promises; He is resurrecting you and is healing that hope deferred. God's promises over you are "Yes and Amen." Hear Him say to you, "No matter the problems you've encountered, My promises speak louder 'YES and AMEN.'"

"I give you the name Peter, a stone. And this truth of who I am will be the bedrock foundation on which I will build My Church—My legislative assembly, and the power of death will not be able to overpower it! I will give you the keys of Heaven's Kingdom realm to forbid on earth that which is forbidden in Heaven, and to release on earth that which is released in Heaven." (Matthew 16:18-19 TPT) (Photo via Public Domain Photos)

Remember: When Jesus was presented with death, He proclaimed, "Lazarus come forth." He did not see the grave – He saw the resurrection!

When Peter saw the lame man at the gate of beautiful begging for money. He did not look at the crippled man with pity. NO, Peter said, "...In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk" (Acts 3:6 NKJV).

When Mary received the Word of the Lord from the Angel Gabriel that as a virgin she would conceive a son who is the Son of God, Mary did not look at the problem. She looked at the promise and said, "...Let it be to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38 NKJV).

Remember that you're fighting against an already defeated foe. The victory of the promise is already yours! God's promises and prophetic decrees over your life are "Yes and Amen."

"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." (2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV)
