Many may not know it but God, on His calendar (not our Gregorian calendar but the Hebrew/Jewish calendar), has specific things HE emphasizes each month.
It took me a while to grasp that, but it's true. So this month Candice says:
"Welcome to the second month on the Hebrew civil calendar, Cheshvan. This is a time of restoration!"

Welcome to the second month on the Hebrew civil calendar, Cheshvan. This is a time of restoration! I hear these words for the month: Restoration and Rain. Take a moment to remember how God cleansed, restored and saved our humanity through Noah during this month. Noah was recognized as a righteous man in Genesis 7:1 (NIV): "The Lord then said to Noah, 'Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.'"
The Righteous of God
When you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are called the righteousness of God. This means you're now considered to be a man or a woman whom God stands beside. His righteousness not only brings protection but also identifies you in the spirit realm. You have been given Christ's robe, breastplate and crown of righteousness as a gift! Because of this gift, the angels are with you and God is going to carry you into the land He called you to inhabit. (Photo via Pixabay)
God Is Sending His Cleansing Rain
Rain – God is bringing rain. During this month, the floods came and cleansed the earth. God only saved the righteous, Noah's family.
You may be going through a difficult time right now. Perhaps situations are arising in your family, or your marriage may be on the rocks. You may be having problems with friends and division is present, but there's good news! God is sending rain to cleanse you and make you whole. Anything that is broken, God is drawing to Himself and making it like new. It doesn't matter what kind of brokenness you are experiencing; God is cleansing you and will restore you!
God Is Restoring What Has Been Stolen
Restoration. One of the blessings during this month is restoration! God is going to be restoring things in your life and your family! Whatever the locust has stolen, God is going to return it. Get ready! God is going to do some rebuilding.
Keep in mind that God is also going to close some doors. You may see something leave that you considered to have value, but God will take the broken and fragmented part and rebuild something new. God is getting ready to build new generations – new things in your life that will last for generations to come. You will leave a legacy of righteousness on this earth! (Photo via Pixabay)
Stay Encouraged and Stand Firm!
Be encouraged. God is working. He's moving on your heart. Read Genesis 7 with the perspective that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and God has given you access to all you need through His Son Jesus Christ. God IS GOING to protect, provide, bless and give you increase and prosperity, just as He did with Noah and his family. He is going to rebuild, reestablish, reposition and restore you in the mighty name of Jesus!
Now your job is to stand firm – even if things don't seem like they're working. Hold on tight to Him. He is your anchor and your root system. God is restoring even our nation. He is doing what only He can do. We must submit to Him and stay encouraged.
