We are told very clearly in Ephesians that our fight is not with flesh and blood but with unseen spiritual opponents.
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Ephesians 6:12)
These spiritual entities that Paul mentions here are seeking to fashion and form culture after their own image. It is the job of the Church to make sure any rights, from which they are claiming to do this, are revoked.
In regard to the present political climate, it is very important that we understand who our true opponent is. Occasionally, the Lord pulls back the veil and allows us to see who the real foe is we are wrestling with. Paul, in 2 Timothy 4:16-17, shows us some insight into this opponent:
"At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them.
"But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and that all the Gentiles might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion."
Delivered Out of the Mouth of the Lion
When Paul went before a natural court, no one dared stand with him or speak in his behalf. He was left alone. However, he says that the Lord didn't leave him. Then he declares that God delivered him out of the mouth of the lion. Paul is connecting the natural judicial systems to a lion in the spirit world. This is what has occurred in America's judicial system for decades. There has been a blood-thirsty lion crying out for blood. This is why abortion has been legalized, and other crimes that shed blood have gone unpunished. There has been a lion influencing and even ruling these systems. Peter told us in 1 Peter 5:8 that this lion is empowered by legal permissions granted him:
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (Photo via Flickr)
The devil is this lion and also our legal opponent. Adversary is the Greek word "antidikos." It means, one who brings a lawsuit. The lion that is seeking to devour does so because he claims a legal right. We must go before the Courts of Heaven and see this legal right revoked. This will allow our judicial systems to be reclaimed from the blood-thirsty lion that has ruled them.
This mouth of the lion is connected to the beast or the anti-Christ spirit that seeks to rule the world. Revelation 13:1-2 shows that this beast has the mouth of a lion:
"Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name. Now the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were like the feet of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority."
Revoking the Rights
When dealing with the mouth of a lion, we are seeking to revoke the legal rights of a high-ranking principality. We should always do this from the Courts of Heaven.
It then makes sense that the lion also controls political systems. This happened in the days of Daniel when King Darius thought about giving Daniel a high seat in his government. Daniel 6:3-4 shows the political activity:
"Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm. So the governors and satraps sought to find some charge against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find no charge or fault, because he was faithful; nor was there any error or fault found in him."
The result of this political jockeying was Daniel being thrown into the lion's den. This happened because they were trying to keep him from a seat that he was designed and assigned to sit in. This is what is happening in our present day in America. There is a lion in the spirit world that is seeking to control the political outcome. It is endeavoring to keep President Donald J. Trump from being reseated as the president of the United States.

Daniel was delivered from the mouth of the lion as a result of three things testifying in his behalf before the Courts of Heaven. He was innocent before God, there was no rebellion in him before the king and he believed God. This is found in Daniel 6:20-23.
"And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, 'Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually, been able to deliver you from the lions?'
"Then Daniel said to the king, 'O king, live forever! My God sent His angel and shut the lions' mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.'
"Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God."
To stand before the Lord and His Courts and see the devil's rights revoked and the mouth of the lion shut, we must make sure these three things are in us as well. May we repent for any place where we are not innocent before God. If we have violated His holiness, we must ask for the Blood of Jesus to speak for us (Hebrews 12:24). If we have walked in rebellion to God and/or His delegated authority in our lives, we should repent and asked for His Blood to speak for us in this area as well.
We should also ask that it would be recorded and registered in Heaven that we believe the Lord and our entire hope and confidence is in Him. This faith should produce obedience in us toward the Lord. As these things are set in place in and through us, we can ask for every lion seeking to deny President Donald J. Trump his seat to be judged as illegal and revoked. God will allow us, as His people, to represent our president before Him for these purposes.
Let us pray: Lord, we come before Your Courts. We ask, Lord, that we might represent President Trump and Your purposes in him. We ask, Lord, that we might be innocent before You. We ask that any and all rebellion toward authority might be dismissed from us. We also ask that our faith might speak before You and grant us status in the realms of the spirit. From this place, Lord, we now ask for a judgment against the lion that would seek to deny President Trump his seat that You, Lord, have granted him.
Let the mouth of the lion be stopped. Lord, send Your angels and shut its mouth so that it no longer has the power to roar or devour our president. Let President Donald J. Trump be re-elected, reset and reseated as the POTUS. In Jesus' name, amen!
